She already was settled into the Abaven lands, satisfied with her choice of specialty. Never had she enjoyed the thrill of adrenaline, and would only wish upon battle should others be put at risk, such as young life, unable to defend themselves. She had already found a den in the pride's lands, one located in Monument Rapids, a overhang of rock that was enclosed on all sides except the opening, a small cave. Within, there were several smaller and cracked rocks, an excellent place to store some herbs, however there were other places for herbal essences, as she feared crushing them by simply rolling over in her sleep. To counteract this action, she had found another smaller cave, one apt for an adult her size to fit inside, with enough light to filter through and allow her to find the correct essences in a swift notice. She had nosed rocks from the rapids into the den to allow for more storage, and had found some assorted branches upon the ground, placing them upon the floor, to allow for cushion in both her sleeping den and herb den. Already, she had explored elsewhere and found various herbs, such as some Elderberry, Dandelion, and Lamb's Ear, some bass-ic herbs. ( I can't stop doing that. Thanks Eve and Tea. xD ) To store these medicines and keep them fresh. she would either wrap them within large leaves, or in strips of bark from an old oak she regularly visited.

Her mocha cloak brightened as she backed out of her herbal den, having fathered some Elderberry, whose purpose was to strengthen one's immune system, which was what fought against deadly poisons, such as the sort that came from the bites of venomous snakes that so violently ran across the lands of Abaven. She had already been bitten by one in her tail, unwary of the fact of snakes living in the lands. She was lucky it had not been venomous, as at the time, there was no Elderberry in her stocks as of yet. Now, she prepared for the venomous of bites, as well as those that were harmless against a wolf, which still could become infected. Mismatched orbs were settled upon the leaf on the smooth stone she sat upon. Enclosed, was a pawful of Elderberries and various clumps of moss and several leaves of Lamb's Ear. Sweeping over the essences, she memorized their names and how to use them together; first getting the victim of the venomous bite to consume the elderberries, to help strengthen their immune system, then to give them a herb for fever induced by poisoning, and use moss soaked in water to clean the bite, as well as to keep the wolf cooled down, then apply lamb's ear as a simple bandage, to keep the wound clean and free of debris, as many bites induced by the Abaven wolves that had yet to come to their home would likely be near their feet, being as snakes are low-lying creatures. She was not worried about snakes now, however. It was early in the morning, and the reptiles only slithered out in the heat of daylight, to sun, and strike at any unsuspecting wolves. She almost did want to be bitten by a venomous subspecies of the vile slugs, to test if her mixture would work, but she would not risk her own life, the Abaven pack needed her, as she was currently the only creature interested in the art of healing.

As the sound of a twig snapping and a scent wafted toward her coal maw, she would nose the essences back together, and bite the leaf bundle shut, and pad toward her herbal den, to stow away the mixture for later use, for the sound of an approaching creature could mean danger, and she might have to give flight or fight. Devils roamed Alacritia, seeking to wreak havoc on all who stood in their path, but not Abaven. Swiftly, she tossed the bundle of herbs into her overhang, neatly landing it on a rock in the center, to easily grab if needed, should this stranger be wounded or poisoned by the vile slugs upon the ground. Mocha toned ears were alert, pricked skyward, mismatched orbs focused intently upon the undergrowth, but she relaxed, her stature failing to speak of dominance, as the scent of wolf drifted upon her maw once more, all familiar and knowing to her. Mismatched orbs softened as her inky lips parted, to allow simple greetings to pass to the familiar wolf, one who spoke of family. "Hello, Bass!" Upon her inky lips, a warm smile spread. allowing her sibling a lighter and more playful side of her she rarely let anyone outside of her family see. Her mocha pelt shone against the stone she stood upon, the rising sun catching in her cloak, creating an outline of light about her. Her stilts folded, to create a seat for her, as she beckoned for her brother to come closer, if he was able to see her, hopefully having heard her call.

The brute had been having a rather off day. The full weight of everything that he had done in the past week was beginning to weigh on his young shoulders. He had not yet picked a den, most of his nights were spent searching his new lands for any hidden secrets, as well as making sure that his borders were strong and well marked. The duties of an Alpha were never ending, and as Azat of Abaven he had many things to prepare. He had gone out to gather as many healers as he could, inviting all other healers in training to host a mega train of sorts. It was mostly for his sister, Harmony, so that she could rise up the ranks quickly. He longed to just simply promote her, but he had to make sure that he treated his family the same as he would all other pack members. He needed to be the Azat first, and a brother second. If his other members saw that he was favoring his sisters, he would have a mutiny on hand.

By default he began to wander towards where he had last seen his sister, the rapids pounding in his perked audits. He didn't even notice that he had stepped on a twig to alert her of his attention. Her sing-song voice called out to him, somewhat lifting his heavy spirits. He searched around for her, seeing her standing atop an outcrop of rocks. Chuckling, he hopped up and joined his mocha coloured sister. "Hey there Harmony, I see you have found yourself a place to call your own." He fondly nuzzled her shoulder, placing a soft kiss on her creamy fur before he laid down, resting his head upon Harmony's paws. A heavy sigh left his maw, golden eyes squeezing shut for a moment. "What if I can't do this?" He whispered, nosing into her soft leg fur. It was a lot to take on, and he was feeling the full effects of it. He was extremely thankful that he had both Harmony and Motif here to protect and guide him, he would be lost without them.

The young alpha was finding comfort in his sisters presence, the scent of her already gathered herbs wafting up to his nose. It assaulted him with their sweet and grassy scent, providing him with even more luxury in this serene spot. Another huff of breath left his maw as he lifted his head, his pink tongue snaking out of his maw as he began to groom her mixed matched fur. It was a soothing motion for himself, and hopefully for him as well.

Her blood had noticed her cheerful call, and emerged from the bushes, looking rather down. As he approached, his bass voice spoke, greeting her, and commenting upon her denning area. His cream based pelt would meet hers, as he leaped upon the outcrop, to her left side. "Thank you, Bass... I decided I didn't want to crush all of my well-collected herbs. Being a healer requires traveling to find the herbs you need." From her inky lips elicited a hearty chuckle, as she continued. "Thank the gods I figured out a way to counteract the venomous snake bites around here, with the way they run amok." His wet nose suddenly met her shoulder, a soft kiss resting upon it, near her heart, before he would lower himself to the floor of the outcrop, planting his head upon her eggshell colored paws. Mocha auditories would lower, as her brother gave a sigh of desperation, a whisper barely coming off his tongue. She closed her eyes, her warm smile warping into a look of concern, as she bent over, her crown lightly touching his own, softly kissing his neck fur, as he would nuzzle her legs for comfort. Her scent wasn't exactly pleasing, being of wild herbs and bark. Her blood did not seem to care, but enjoy it.

She could not stand to see him so down, and as he lifted her crown to soothe himself, and began to groom her mocha cloak. Her crown would lower, as she gave him a soft nuzzle, inky lips parting to allow a string of lyrics spoken in a soothing and sweet voice. "Bass, I know you can..." Mismatched orbs were squeezed tight as she would lower herself, raising her left foreleg to go about the larger pearly male, mismatched orbs opening again as she squeezed him within her embrace, a soft hug. "If anyone can, it's you... Remember, we're here for you... and always will be there if you need any help... I love you more than anyone else, Bass." Her lyrics were soft spoken and hushed, a whisper only for the male to hear. Once more, she would squeeze him, a sign of comfort and to show that he was safe with her. Behind her, her plush banner rose and fell, resting upon her blood's rump, to soothe him further. "Always remember that... please..." The verse was like any other, but at a lower tone, a plea for him to never give up on himself, and to never give up on seeking advice. "We all learn from each other." Her inky lips folded into a warm comforting smile, as she licked the fur upon his neck, before resting her head lightly across his paws, rolling now onto her side, her legs to the right of the male, outward, and her head bent to lie within his paws, mismatched orbs full of light.
