A lot had gone through the adults minds once they arrived at abaven. Hajime could tell that his children were restless, a few of them simply not understanding why they could not stay in Ebony any longer. Until they were adults it was his job to protect and raise them, to have a better childhood than he had. Once Raisa left it no longer became their home Katja was destroying it from the hinges, Hajime no longer could see them being reasonable. After being called a traitor, his rage had built up. And now they were following Quelt and would rise to the top, but Ixionn had requested his audience. Which was understandable. Hajime would try his best to listen to his son, but he would also let him know the reasons behind they leaving Ebony.
Just outside of the territory he flicked his tail waiting for his son as he had requested. They would be okay out here, his children held a special place in his heart. He could not deny them his love, and after all. Their blood was his, was just like his mothers. Hajime slightly scared himself with the future generations of walkers that had come along. But he sighed, red eyes looking out at the thicket.

The young man was pissed off and quite angered. Why had they left Ebony? Katja, the spirit of Raisa, everyone?! His birth home! Ixionn couldn't understand how all his littermates were so okay with this change. His old pack was his everything- like a wife to him. And his father had to take that all away! How dare he? So, the boy had asked his dad to meet him at the Rustling Thicket to talk about all this. To get everything straight, and to be able to yell and ask why in the world he'd walk away from such a nice pack. Of course he knew nothing about the quite evil plans of Ebony- but still. He wanted to grow into that pack. To be part of it. To grow through the ranks and become Katja...as the little boy stomped on through the thicket, he kicked up dust and snapped at the air aimlessly.
Growling and jumping around the dusty path that led to his father, Ixionn muttered curses and continued to kick up the dust. He dug his thorned paws into the earth and hissed a few new curses, before sweeping leaves and tearing up dew-covered vegetation beginning to grow over the previously frosty winter air. He felt so much pressure settled down onto his shoulders- and he was so confused and flustered. The spirit of his dear mother rested within Ebony- and the spirit of Raisa. So many wolves he'd miss and so many he would love to still be with. Suddenly he bumped into something skinny and boney- yet covered in fur. He drank in the air and looked up, eyeing his dad. Immediately he began to snarl with his teeth snapping at his father quickly. Red gems would burn with hate, and slowly his paws would carry his back enough so he could look directly up at his father.
How could you?! I loved Ebony! EVERYONE DID! Just because you don't like Katja doesn't mean you need to pull everyone away from her! Hate lingered in his voice like ashes in a forest. He quickly dropped his little rump to the ground and kicked up dirt around him, letting out a quiet sneeze before proceeding to glare up at his father.

Hajime would remain calm as his son yelled at him. Ixionn was very young, in Hajime's eyes he didn't understand a damn thing. But he wouldn't voice that out loud, not like he was one to say that about himself either. Flicking his tail, his red eyes would close as he sighed promptly. He was upset too, Elsa was buried there, Raisa was gone she had left them or her own free will. And yet when he was broken as was his family, Katja was more keen on doing everything for the healthy rather than the sick. "Ixionn....I want you to listen to me closely, can you do that?" Hajime said in a quiet voice. He lowered himself to his sons level watching the boy.
"I didn't leave Ebony because I didn't like Katja. Ixionn it is important that you know Ebony has done a disservice for us. They no longer stand for what our family does. You have the blood of princes moving through you, Katja called me a traitor for being upset over Raisa leaving us. I gave her the chance to make us feel wanted, but she failed." The man would sigh and raise himself. "We aren't in Abaven to play games Ixionn, Quelt is going to be an alpha. That way we can live up to our blood." His black tail would curl around him. "Taking slaves, and worrying about survival more than happiness is not the way we want to live Ixionn. I'd be dearly upset if you think that is how everyone should live. Our survival is just as important as our happiness. Hate me all you want, but when you grow older if you choose to leave me and the family for ebony. We will be your enemy." Of course these were harsh things to be telling the boy but it was how he felt. "I love you Ixionn, I came to Abaven to give you and your siblings a future you deserve. The future of a throne at your paws." he would look at the boy in wonder.

Surprisingly his father didn't seem to be mad that he was yelling and throwing loud, disrespectful tones at him. That was something that he was indeed relieved with. But he didn't show it. Instead, he continued to growl aggressively, the hairs along his spine lifting. He lifted his tail slowly and carried on glaring up at his father, until words slipped from his maw. "Ixionn....I want you to listen to me closely, can you do that?" Instead of refusing- he considered whatever his father was going to tell him important. It better be, or else the boy would go off. Buttons would be pushed and he'd probably be disciplined. Snorting and rolling his eyes, the boy nodded bluntly and crossed his paws delicately. He puffed out his chest and narrowed his crimson red eyes to his massive father, who soon began to explain everything after the young boy got comfortable.
Everything seemed so nice in this pack Abaven. He'd be a prince once Quelt became the alpha...but he was confused. Bass was the pack leader! Would he challenge him, or would he have to wait as a beta of Abaven? Just in case the boy didn't like how this all sounded, he continued to glare and growl softly, brows furrowing slowly. He kicked lightly at the sandy earth and wrinkled his nose up as it blurred his vision. But at the same time he thought hard about this all. What was this about taking in slaves? Being an enemy to his family? The young man let out another disgusted snort, feeling a bit threatened. He immediately shot to his paws and began to pace in front of his father while being quite deep in thought. Abaven, a pack in which he was confused about. Or Ebony...his birth pack. The place in which he desired to grow and live, but was said to gradually be growing dark.
Ixionn's pacing ceased and he looked up at his father, a confused look crossing his face. He rolled his shoulders and curled his lips back with disgust, bunching his fur and stiffening his body. Finally a few words drove his jaws apart smoothly. How do you know Quelt will become the alpha? Bass is alpha! And how do you know I will even become a prince or a heir...? Tail was held proudly over his head at he stared up at his father, crimson-hued eyes narrowing yet again. Not once did he smile, not once did he even think about it. He was outraged, and still was, even after the statement made by his father.

The man watched Ixionn carefully, this was his son. A being he brought into the world, but also the being that had caused the death of his wife. All of his children had a piece of Elsa within them, they had her spunk, and it made his heart ache to see Ixionn like this. He only wanted him to be safe, he didn't want the walkers to wander off into a depth where no one could find them. Just like his mother had, just like her where all of them only had so many scars they could take. Hajime's red eyes looked softly at the boy, even when his burned back and his tail raised. He guessed, they were reaching that age.
"I have my faith in him Ixionn, he is going to work with Bass to try and get his own pack. And he promised us to be on the royal family." Hajime held back every ounce of tears that sat in the back of his head. He smiled at Ixionn, lowering himself again and pulling his tongue across the boys head. "I'm sorry Ixionn, please forgive me. Your dad is an idiot." he chuckled softly. "Listen to me, your family needs you Ixionn. They need you to support them, Levi would be devastated if he never got to see you again. So please, don't go to ebony. Everyone who is here in abaven, loves you cares for you, we just don't want to lose you." his eyes strained at him. Was he being manipulative? Or was he simply speaking on the behalf of the family. And begging that a piece of him didn't return to the hell that had created a painful heart.
