WHEN THE LIGHT IS NEARLY GONE
Sunshine shone on the dancing ebony babe as she emerged with happiness. Caring emerald orbs watched the blooming lands. Spring was arriving, a new life and day was dawning. Every little creature was waking up to such a marvelous time. She took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. Today seemed like a good day, and she wasn't going to waste it smelling the flowers. Today she was going to have an adventure, oh she could not wait! Running delicately, she could only hope she would stumble across another life, meet another wolf, how great that would be for the lonely girl. And she would dance in the early spring breeze, like she was free of all restrains. She felt alive.
After a while of her enjoyable strolling through the grounds, her eyes met another wolf. Another new and exciting person to meet! She would approach the brownish grey wolf, introducing herself excitedly.
"Hello there!" she spoke with happiness and affection. "Mind if I join you?"

The mixed colored babe smiled and looked to the ebony fae with a kind and compassionate glance. Her golden orbs showed friendliness to her and she nodded her approval. The sound of frogs singing their throaty song as ripples and the sound of then plopping into the water showing where they had been. Venin looked to the fae, golden optics meeting radioactive green ones.
"May I ask your name?" Venin asked with the slight tilt of her head. She had never met this she-wolf before, and perhaps she would be a willing friend. Venin was never one to have friends, and hopefully this would be the day she had one.
"And, by the way, my name is Venin," she bowed her head in a respectable manner as she waited for the midnight colored wolf to answer her.

Kind golden orbs stared back at Titania. The other lady had stated that her name was Venin. She had also politely asked for her name. And the night girl would reply back.
"My name is Titania Oaks." She spoke warmly as the delicate rays of the sun lit up her face. This girl could not wait to know more about Venin, she seemed like quite a nice dame.
The creatures of spring sung their warm melody, the frogs croaked their tune. The wind spoke in a hushed voice as the grass danced in the breeze. The trickle of the pond came to the girl's ears, how refreshing this time seemed. So many fascinating and vibrant critters and plants. All the fauna and flora. Ah, the sounds of spring. What better way to enjoy the day?

Venin looked to Titania with a smile on her face. "Titania," she would repeat back in a whispered tone. The sun reflected off her golden orbs and caused them to shine slightly. The sun warmed her fur, the heat beating off her skin as she soon walked over to the shade so that she didn't have her skin burned from the sun's rays.
"Your name is very pretty and unique," she said and placed her cranium upon her forepaws, ears twitching from the sounds of Spring echoeing into her lobes. The smell of flowers and maple rotated into her nostrils making a sweet scent. She heaved a small sigh and looked to the clouds that began to form.

The ebony girl blushed slightly at such a warm compliment from Venin. No-one had ever complimented Titania in her life, well except for her mother, until she passed away. From then, Titania was probably considered useless from her father, though she could only remember flashes from her early pup-hood. She tried not to forget her smiling and delicate mother, oh how she yearned for those sweet memories once more.
But her name? What did it mean? Why was it so special? Though she chuckled at her compliment.
"Venin is also a pretty name," She spoke in a warm tone. "I'm sure it means something."
The girl sat down by the pond, staring at the rippling reflection of herself. She tried to count how many frogs and tadpoles she could see, but the pond was just full of those creatures. She calmly sighed, staring down at the black girl who looked back at her with curious green gems.
"What's your story? she asked as emerald orbs glimmered across the pond, though she quickly added. "But you don't have to share it if you don't want to, I understand."
She hoped Venin wouldn't mind if she told her some of her past. Though she understood if it was something she would not want to share. She could relate to that. Titania also had a sad tale for her early pup-life. Though she tried not to think about that. Think about the future, not the past.
