ooc: doing some major liquid time to keep things moving cause I can't wait on everyone :P

Azalea had joined Tortuga. It was a change that the had never seen coming in her life. But what changes had she ever anticipated? Having her body occupied by Isardis had never been planned. Getting pregnant AGAIN had never been planned. Having Sarak go awol had never been planned. Valhalla being taken away? Not planned. Life seemed to have decided that she had enough fun in her first two years of life to last a lifetime.

If it weren't for the puppies Azalea wouldn't have moved into Tortuga but she needed someplace to raise them safely, without holding her sons hostage to offer some safety net. Roman welcomed her openly and for that she was grateful. There was no where else for her to go aside from Glaciem, to Liberty, but that was Isardis' domain. Never could she join that place.

It had been a long road but Azalea had rebuilt her confidence, enough to now stand on Glaciem's doorstep, eager to see her friend. She was told there was a rank change, Athena now was in charge. Azalea knew the wolf from where she just a small child and couldn't imagine her now, full grown and a queen.

Azalea called out to Glaciem. For Liberty mostly, but let the Glaciem wolves come. She was not in the wrong, to stand just beyond Glaciem eager to see a friend.

She is preoccupied with border patrol when the call rings out across the frozen territory, the nymphs audits instantly swiveling toward her right as she listens to the call with interest. At first the voice would be slightly familiar, but she couldn't put her paw on it. As the summon drug out and faded into the forest, the woman realized who the caller was. Azalea. She would pivot on her front paws, turning her body toward the direction of the call and sprinting off toward it. She had no idea why her friend would willingly knock on Glaciem's door, especially with Isardis showing his face around the pack again. Was she here to play with fire? "Ramses, there is someone at the border I would like you to meet. Come on." She would call to her feline companion, whom was already jumping to his feet and following after her.

It would take them a few minutes to reach Sparse Pines, as they were patrolling The Marble Wash when the call had rung out. A few more minutes would pass before the border, and her friends figure, would come into view. She would aim to approach her friend directly from the front, aiming to halt a few feet before her so that they had enough space to get a good look at each other. Azalea seemed to have put on a bit of weight again, and Liberty made a mental note to ask her about it later. "Azalea! It's so good to see you!" She would greet her friend before dipping her head and glancing toward Ramses, whom had come up to her right side and was leaning against her front right leg. "Ramses, this is my friend Azalea. I have known her since I was a pup." Azure eyes would turn away from her companion to rest upon the fiery gaze of her friend, elongated tail flicking excitedly behind her.

Azalea sat in silence. It was hauntingly familiar given the scent of the place and familiar scenery. How long had she spent alone here? Through the patchy trees she saw a dark figure moving around but low lying pine branches hid the form too much for her to differentiate wolf from some other manner of beast. When they drew near she saw it was Liberty and a smile lit her face.

"Azalea! It's so good to see you!" She nodded back, a sign of agreement. "No joke!" She would say, her mind going back to the old times where it was just as simple as talking across the territory to find Liberty. It was nice to be near again, so that she didn't have to trudge miles and miles and miles. A creature appeared to her right, coming up to lean on her. Feline. Azalea gave it a weird look.

"Ramses, this is my friend Azalea. I have known her since I was a pup." Azalea gave a tentative nod to Ramses. Whatever he was, Azalea didn't understand why he was following a wolf around. "Ramses." She clearly didn't know how to interact with the cat so she turned her attention back to Liberty, giving her a grave look. "Valhalla is no more. Some red bitch defeated Erani. I... Sarak and I became mates, I gave birth just before the challenge. I haven't seen Sarak since and I had to make a decision so I went to Tortuga, Roman and I have become friends of sorts." She looked troubled as she spoke. It certainly wasn't easy to explain that she had a man who loved her more than life but who hadn't been seen since she gave birth. Had hadn't been there when she needed him.

She sighed, cheering up. "I am a Tortugan now. Strange as it is to say." She had to laugh a bit. It certainly was bizarre to be an Adravendi in Tortuga.

The silver Queen's ears perked with interest as a call rang out across the Glaciem territory. Calls from the border weren't all that uncommon these days, but what made her curious was the fact that it wasn't directed toward her, but toward Liberty. Athena looked in the direction of the call, hesitating for several moments before finally turning toward it and striding forward. Her curiosity was insatiable and it wouldn't let her not at least go see who it was. The Queen shook out her coat, not wanting to look presentable for whoever it was, before she went on at a steady trot. She was not in any hurry per say, but she didn't want to miss any excitement either.

With silver fur and golden bangles gleaming, she arrived to see her Sentinel greeting a white and russet woman. Athena hid for just a moment behind one of the many thick pines, peering at the woman curiously. She listened to the other woman speak, telling Liberty about what seemed to be her recent history. Suddenly a memory from her past came to mind and her eyes widened. She knew this woman! Excitement took the place of curiosity and Athena strode forward, her tail wagging and a smile on her muzzle. "Azalea!" She stopped beside Liberty, chuckling softly. "I didn't think I'd ever see you again. It's been so long." The last time she had seen the russet-faced woman had been she was just a small pup daring to climb boulders and jump from them. Her ruby and emerald gaze glanced from Liberty to Azalea, the curiosity returning. "You two are friends?"
