Kogyn now reaching her second year of life has been traveling the world for over half of it. But no matter how far she traveled she just cannot help coming back to the land of her forefathers. This was where her father lived, where her mother meet her father the first time. It was where her paws seemed to want to take, no matter how far she traveled away. She looked behind her, her paw prints indented in the early spring snow, but quickly turn back.

She had only chanced upon this cave, trying to get out of the late snow storm, but was glad for it. Glancing around she was amazed at the images, with the humans long gone she had never thought to happen upon something left behind by them. Hell she had never seen a human only heard stories about them from her father, who had meet some in her early travels, before they had all destroyed each other.

Kogyn moved forward, her small body shivering but she did not pay it any mind, she was to mesmerized by the depictions on the wall. It showed man with sticks chasing after buffalo. Licking her maw the girl moved on, her pale blue eyes tracing the many depictions the humans carved upon the cave walls. Another showed man on the back of a horse, then another was of man placing seeds within the ground. On and on the drawing went.

The girl was so absorbed by her surroundings that she seemed to lose track of not only time but herself. Only after studying a particularly thought absorbing depiction of man and wolf hunting deer when she looked up and found that she was not where she started. The girl blinked, her pale eyes looking one way than the other, confused on what way she had come. The girl blinked, sitting down to think for a second.

Kogyn sighed as she came to the conclusion that she was indeed lost, something that happens if she was not careful, and it seemed that the drawings on the wall absorbed her attention so well that she forgot to make sure that she knew the way back. "Well what will I do now?"

The girl thought on it, she could go one way or another, but frankly she was not confident in her ability to find the right way out. She could end up further in and that could spell death to her... Maybe... Kogyn lifted her nose, maybe she could smell the way out. It was at this moment that she wished beyond anything that she had inherited her fathers sniffing skills but no matter how hard she tried all she smelled was damp cave walls.

At that moment Kogyn knew that she was royally screwed. She may never find her way out of the caves no matter how hard she tried...

For the past few months the man has gradually gotten over the death of his beloved. She'd never escape his memory, though. She'd always be beside him, around him. Whispering to him in the breeze that she was still there and waiting for him to join her. So, with that, Aldoro had refocused himself on Tortuga...and the future that was upheld before him. The man wondered if he'd ever find love again. Especially when he had lost it so many times on an off. Six came to him, then left, then came back, then died. Or if he'd ever have pups again...his older two were stillborn and they never existed. He never even got to say goodbye to his pups, or his dead wife. Although he wanted to forget it all...to push it all away and live like a normal man. That's what Six would want for him. To live and grow a new family of his own...to have pups, to wrap his arms around a woman he truly had love in his heart for.
Being the hopeless wanderer he was- the boy was on his way to the Caves of the Past. He's been to the place before. It was full of old signs painted upon the wall. The signs seemed to be done by something other than an animal...considering he could never make lines and curves so small. But he didn't worry about it. After all, they were all display and no threat to him. They were also something to pull his mind off everything. Paws would casually take him into the dark cave, eyes searching over the cave walls. Pictures and little painting began to show up, and all Aldoro did was smile. But suddenly his focus was tugged on when a strange, unfamiliar aroma wafted into his nose. Another wolf- and a woman. She seemed not too far back into the cave...maybe he could meet her? Turning, the man would make his way to the back of the cave, breathes silent and smooth.
Finally, through the darkness, he could spot a tall figure of soot. Aldoro squinted and huff softly, lowering his haunches to the floor and folding his tail over his paws slowly. His lips would part smoothly to few warm lyrics, Hello? Are you alright...? Warm voice would echo lightly through the small caves. His ears would flick softly with slight irritation- but he was primarily focused on the reply from the girl. If she was lost- he could certainly lead her out. He knew the way by heart- and he wouldn't without the paintings.

Kogyn was about to make up her mind about picking a way, and letting fate decide if she lived or died when a scent filled her nose, at least the scent that was not damp stone walls. She got to her paws, her pale blue eyes turned on the direction the scent came from, she almost smiled with pure glee when a male came into view, he seemed sure of himself, able to navigate the twisting caverns with ease. She wanted to prance, knowing that her life was not over, and she would not have to find her way out of the potentially confusing cavern.

She did smile however when the brute asked her if she was lost. "Well frankly I like to think of it as misplacing my since of direction for a bit, but indeed it can be called getting lost." The young Kogyn shifted on her paws and then looked back at the drawling of the wolves and humans. "I would not have gotten so lost if I had not been so enchanted by this drawling of wolves working alongside the humans. To think that the creatures that almost killed us all worked with us in some point in their history."

The girl turned back to the male, her pale eyes taking him in again, "You look like a young male, have you ever heard of the tales of the humans, the two legged warriors? My father was young when they all died, but he did get the chance to see some of them, and before he died he told me of that journey." Kogyn moved on, looking at the pictures and then at the male, she moved to the next one down, it showed a scene of humans holding fire. "They learned to harness fire. then proceeded to rule over all animals, took us as pets and everything. It is fascinating to think that something so powerful ended up killing themselves. It makes me think that being big and powerful does not always mean you are immortal, that sometimes only the small things survive."

Kogyn turned back to the male then, her pale eyes shinning with amusement. "I am done being sentimental, could you lead me out of here, and maybe next time I walk into a cave I will not get lost and need you to save my hide." The wild girl's eyes turned mischievous as she walked toward the male, ready to leave this place if he was.
