It was long over due and she needed to get her mind off of wondering where Gitan was. Sure she knew why he left, to look for family and friends for their wedding to come. She hoped he'd fine someone, to stand on his side and be proud of him. But she could not help the over bearing loss of him, if even for a short time. It was like loosing part of herself, she felt only half of who she was. She had kept up in keeping the den clean and restocking her medical den. It would not be till she was fully stocked on herbs did she want to hold a training lesson. Her pups needed it, whether they liked it or not, her children would not walk out into the world without the very least basics of healing.

She padded outside her medical den, a separate den from the family but very close together should she be needed to treat someone. She had no idea where her kids went off to but knew they were safe and smart enough not to cause too much trouble. Sitting outside, listening to the wind whisper and the water trickle around the roots of the groves she pondered on a lesson. What did she treat first? She supposed she'd just do the basics treatments her kids would find useful on day to day things. Then maybe more advance knowledge if others came such as Novel. She still had yet to personally speak with her niece. She wasn't sure how the girl felt bout her and Symphony could not help but feel utter guilt.

With a sigh she lifted her head and called out for her pups and any others wishing to learn in the art of healing. Her song was soft and simple, holding the old ring it had once had. Blending easily with the natural sound of the forest around them. Her parents had picked her name very well, how did they know her sweet howls would be like this?

Whilst Sorrel certainly preferred the idea of one on one lessons rather than these group ones as the recent Draft hunt had been, the young boy certainly wasn't about to pass up on the opportunity for a lesson on healing with his mother. Of all her children it was certainly the clingy little Sorrel that had the biggest interest in healing, aspiring to one day acquire the skills that his mother and cousin had. He had watched in amazement during Novel's recent birth as the healers gathered all worked together to help the expecting mother and the children survive. Of course he hadn't been able to help in any way though it had been a learning experience that much was for certain.

Now he would make his way to his mother, coming happily to a stop before her as he nuzzled her in greeting. He wasn't the largest of wolves, though he had overtaken her in size now, no longer the dainty little pup that used to hide beneath her at every opportunity. Appearance may have changed, though he certainly still lacked that confidence around most others. Even as he retreated to give his mother some space, he wouldn't venture too far from Symphony, not knowing who else would show up. He hoped if anyone else it would only be his siblings though he doubted he would have that luxury.

His mother would call and F?licien would heed it, heading towards the source of the howl. He was not so eager to learn herbs, but the fact that his mother and twin both had such interest in them was enough of a reason for the young brute to want to at least attend. It was really only for their sake that he sought any sort of herbal knowledge, still a bit ignorant of the fact that the world was not such a welcoming and warm place as he might like to think it was. But he wouldn?t stress on that.

When he arrived it was just his mother and Sorrel, both sitting together. The twins had grown... Both filling out into their older bodies. He would give his brother a smile, and then his mother as well, before F?licien came to a stop and plopped down near his twin. His mis-matched eyes were shining, and the male would speak softly. ?Do you think many others will come?? He didn?t mind working in groups, as the draft hunt had been fun for him, but he also wanted some more family time. He would look to Sorrel, ears pricking a bit. He was sure his brother would shine in this lesson if any questions were asked.

It was easy to tell the swift call was for those wanting to learn. Chocolate ears would perk up as he altered his path. He had no other stressing matters to attend to, but wondered if Novella would also heed the call. He knew she enjoyed her mother's lessons, and he hoped the quick sparing lesson she'd had with him. He doubted not that he would find her there instead of the den.
Being newly wed was an odd feeling, but he enjoyed it more and more each day. As their children grew so would his lover for her, now that she'd overwhelmed his life he didn't know how he'd lived with out her before. Those thoughts would remain on his mind as he came into view of Symphony and at least two out of her three pups. He'd been getting better at names, but he was still unsure of these nieces and nephews. He'd catch the tail end of one twin's words, he seemed the more outgoing of the two. "I'm here, and I bet Novella will show up too." He'd smile at each of the wolves in turn, then he took his place before the meeting started.

She had grown more distant, hovering at the borders. What was out there? Was it anything like it was here in Ludi? But since Daddy left she kept her eyes on the look out for his return. Though she had grown she was still tiny, taken the genetic side of her mother in size than her father like her brothers. Though she often wondered out laid outside the borders of her home she could never leave her family. Her loyalty was solely to them specially her parents.

A call rang out for training and she got to her paws. She had missed the Draft hunt, her and mother had had a talk. Now that she was nearing a year old, Symphony had talked about the changes her body would go through. Mother believed it was important she knew these things ahead of time. Plus she had eaten something bad that day and couldn't keep anything down all day and her mother was tending to her. So she would not pass this up, specially if her mother was calling for it. With a shake of her body she took off at a run, easily navigating through the mangroves. It only took a few moments for her to reach the den. Already her brothers were there and a dark male. Skipping over to her brothers she nuzzled with both, having to stretch up her neck. How did they grow so tall and so fast? She smiled before gently nuzzling her mother and licking her cheek. She took a sit of her mother's other side, eyes resting on the dark male. He smelled of Novella, was he her mate that everyone talked about? She gave him a friendly nod. "Mother what are we learning today? Do we wait for more to show up?" She asked, eager to know what her mother held in store for them.

Lessons. To be completely honest the younger Dutiron still craved them. It was becoming obvious by now of course that he wouldn't ever actually know everything though he was still determined to learn as much as he could, to be as wise as some of the older wolves surrounding him; his elder siblings, mother, aunts and uncles and of course grandparents. In fact, with that in mind the child hadn't actually set himself a particular area to focus on, he was still planning on taking on the challenge of studying them all as closely as each other. With all this in mind, as a healing lesson was called, there shouldn't really have been any surprise to see the young male turning up to join his cousins and new uncle in sitting before his aunt, eager to see what the lesson held for them all.

A healers' training session was not something Ara would ever willingly choose to ignore. Even though she highly suspected it was directed toward the younger wolves, perhaps to those who had little to no experience, she knew there was always something to be learned. And if she learned nothing new, she could use the time to cement the knowledge she already had and possibly even supplement the lesson if needed.

The woman that had called the group together was only slightly familiar to her. A slight smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she eyed the wolves that had gathered, most significantly younger than her, though not all of them. Unconsciously she would find herself drifting to Frith, who seemed more her age, though she had no idea if he was as experienced. She would offer a silent, serious nod of greeting before turning to Symphony, nodding to her respectfully. The group seemed happy to be here, and she found herself relaxing at the prospect of meeting others besides Novel that shared her interests and passions.

As Frith had predicted Novella too would soon appear. Whilst she had been having one to one lessons with her mother on healing she knew better than to turn down these group lessons as well and if nothing else would be there to support her sister by attending the lessons she was holding. Already there was a sizeable group gathering before Symphony and to Novella's joy amidst them was her mate. Though not overly obvious that she was pregnant yet to the untrained eye, there was certainly a possibility that Symphony and Ara, more experienced than her nephews and niece would possibly pick up upon this revelation. She was slowly getting more used to it now though she was certainly glad it'd been a healing lesson called over a defence one.

She would give a nod of greeting to her sister, accompanied by a warm smile as she seated herself at Frith's side. It seemed the lesson hadn't started yet, though she would be silent as she settled with the group, not wishing to cause too much of a disturbance regardless.
