Side effects: Potentially dangerous to pregnant and nursing mothers. However, as it is a mild herb, it can be used on very young children without risk of overdose. Rarity: Rare. Main Use: Laxative, when bark is dried and aged. Other uses: Unknown. Side effects: If the bark is not dried and aged for at least a few weeks, it can cause intense nausea and vomiting.
