Bass has done a lot of thinking after Quelt had left, and the position that he had once held needed to be filled. He had to admit that he needed help, he couldn't keep tossing around all these trainings himself. There was one wolf that came to mind when the Azat thought of all the wolves in his pack -- Venus. She was a strong warrior and a proud woman, she wouldn't let anyone walk all over her. He needed someone with a strong head on their shoulder, and Venus, that galactic babe, came to mind. So he walked to the plains, tipping back his head and letting out a howl for the girl.

Seemingly endless adventures had distracted Venus - pulling her away from her Abaven home to, perhaps, discover herself. To discover who she was beyond her blackened heart, who she might have been if history could be rewritten. One exploration had indeed engraved itself upon her soul in a twisted, masochistic way. She had found peace in a man that reminded her of her former puppeteer. Her personal Hades. This man giving her a faint source of light in her darkened state - perhaps providing comfort in memories.

She had returned to Abaven, a home in which continued to grow on her, in time to hear her king's demand for her presence. She was quick to assume the man was going to scold her for continuous leaves; however, these leaves would eventually lead her to becoming all the more confident, brave, and strong. It would eventually lead to her royal blood making its way to her surface and hopefully, with time, would completely wash away all of the darkness that wrapped around her in a thick blanket of shadows.

It was mid-day when she met the king. Sun drew high in the sapphire sky, shedding its golden light upon all of Abaven. Something inside her yearned to stay and prove herself even more to her king - to become his most trusted servant. Yet, she still longed to lead a powerful empire. Ah, thoughts and feelings seemed to pull her in so many confusing directions.

Venus stood a few feet away from her king, facing him and waiting patiently for her scolding she thought she so deserved. Though, perhaps, the king did not notice her leavings. . . maybe the man had plenty of kingly duties to keep him entertained whilst she was on a path to discover her inner light. Venus dipped her head in a respectful bow and met Bass's gaze. You called my king. . . and I have come.

It didn't take her long to join him, and even though she may not think it, he was aware of her leaving. He thought that this rank would help her tie in with the responsibilities that would be required of her. He knew that she strives for a higher rank, that her mere title of Bjundi was not enough for the girl. He smiled at her, nodding his head as well. He would not scold her -- too hard at least. "Have you had fun on your little travels?" He asked teasingly, a soft chuckle drawing from his muzzle. He wouldn't be too harsh on her, he understood that sometimes getting away from home was the best thing, it was easier to discover yourself when there wasn't so many voices whispering in your ear. Bass was fine with her wandering off, as long as she called Abaven home, that was okay with the young king. Plus, she was here after all, was she not? That was just fine with him.

Taking in a deep breath, the white boy folded himself onto his rump as his golden gaze inspected her galactic face. "I have been thinking ever since Quelt left." It still pained him, Quelt had been a good friend to the growing boy. He knew that he was off fulling his dreams of leading his own kingdom, but he would be missed. That and he dragged along a lot of the members that he thought were more faithful to him. He lost numbers, but he was at least glad that they were going with Quelt. He needed to add stronger, more determined wolves to his ranks, ones that were not joining because one wolf led them that way. He still loved each and every wolf that came with Quelt, that is how he gained his new little apprentice. But that didn't make the sting less when they walked away.

Bass cleared his throat, his eyes had gone unfocused from his thoughts. As he came back to her star dusted face, he blinked a few times. "As I was saying I have been thinking. I would like to offer you the position of Kashkar, Venus. This is a gift, a challenge does not have to come with it. However, this gives you an amble opportunity to challenge for Naharar." He said, the words flowing from his salmon tongue. That was the highest rank that she could ever be granted, and while other wolves were able to challenge her for it he had no doubt that she would defend her rank. His smile was broad as he awaited her answer. He highly doubted that she would refuse, but he wished to see her face as he offered this to her. After all, it is what she wanted, was it not?

Toes shuffled easily upon the summer grass, thoughts distracted her for just a moment. Her mind temporarily journeying back to her meeting with Goliath and the storm the two had encountered. Indeed, she had enjoyed her travels and for some foreign reason, she longed to see the Cerberus she had crossed paths with once more. No, more than once. For what reason? That was also unknown, but some magnetic force drew her to him. Ah, in time they would meet again, but this meeting with her king was important right now. Yes, my travels have actually helped me in more ways than I would have thought.

She was sure a scolding would follow; however, it was pleasingly surprising when a chuckle would follow his words. She would never abandon her king. Shadowed heart and tainted mind, she was still a fallen princess with a deep understanding of loyalty. The next words to fall from his royal lips would catch her interest. She had heard whispers of Quelt's leave, but she was unsure of how many followers he had taken with him. Surely Abaven's numbers suffered with his parting of ways. The king's mind seemed to hesitate on unspoken thoughts. Mmm, the situation had seemingly left its mark on the young man's heart.

Then the next sentences would seemingly ignite a spark in the gal's marbled eyes. Undying interested burned softly, yet noticeably like embers. Bass offered her two positions - Kashkar being a gift and giving her the opportunity to prepare to challenge for Naharar. Ah, it was already known what she would want to do. To battle for a rank of royals, to earn it by spilled blood and bruises. It was an opportunity she had long been craving. One simple word would kiss her lips - Naharar. It was laced in tones of excitement and curiosity. Following the single word, she would continue with words of appreciation and acceptance of his offering. Thank you, my king. I will gladly accept your offer. I appreciate your offering and I will not disappoint you. You have my word. I will be preparing myself for Naharar - a goal I am sure I will obtain. Venus bowed to her king in respect. Respect in which he truly deserved.
