The blue and gold boy trotted across the lands of Alacritis with a faint spring in his step, moving with a surprising lightness for someone of his size. The clouds that had been crowding the skies as of late because of the massive storm were beginning to part, letting in some much needed sunlight in patches that lit up the ground around him in places. It was a beautiful day compared to the last several and he fully intended to make the most of it. The activity at the top of his list? Finding Pandora.
He remembered being so close to his sister, but it felt like they had drifted apart. He knew most of it was their being separated for so long, but all the same he wanted to mend their relationship if he could. He followed what traces of her scent he could find to this lake, his vivid green gaze glancing around to search for her. He was sure she couldn't be that hard to find. After all, she was just as strikingly marked as himself. He padded along the edge of the lake while he continued to look for her, hoping he wouldn't have to howl for her.

She had been scouting the borders of her newly claimed property, enjoying the sereneness of the peace and quiet. Random scents of prey swept in and out of her range of smell, but they didn't peak her interest. Thoughts about Scorpion and the other males in her life were slowly fading and reappearing in her brilliant mind, making her want one of them to arrive and dote attention upon her vivacious form. Ohhh, what she wouldn't give... Her wish was granted and she didn't even realize it at first. She was walking around the edge of the lake, feeling the autumn wind caress her fur, when his scent met her nose. Her heart raced, she began to grow excited. Turqouise blue eyes looked around and sure enough, he was on the other side. Words didn't need to be hollered, nor did she have to howl. All she had to do was run...and run was what she did. Her paws hit the ground with a sprint and carried her around the lake until she met her brother's form on the other side. A smile crossed her face as she slowed before nuzzling his familiar, golden fur. A soft whine slipped from closed kissers and she sighed happily as she took in his scent. He smelled of Maija and Taurig, something none of their siblings would ever get rid of. Nostalgia hit her and she closed her eyes to prevent the tears from leaking onto her perfect face. She had missed him more than words could say. |
