Ooc:: Thread wise this is going to take place after her run in with Kau.

The storm had driven her away with her son. After she had reunited with Nalyda, the femme had tried to retreat from the storm, doing her best to keep the pygmy jerboa she called her child safe from harm. He had cling to her fur, scared to death, and didn't come out from the little folds of her neck, the once place where the poor thing was "safe". The rain was still falling hard here, though perhaps it had let up just a bit. The scarred woman was shivering with cold. Scared. What remained of her ears were pushed back, and had the rest of the ears been there they would have been the same way. No doubt she had water within the ear drums... it drowned out most of the sound, and her single remaining eye struggled to see through the misty water.

She was tired... and scared herself. If it wasn't bad enough she had run into that man again... the one who gave her his dark promise. Tears ran down her cheeks, mingling with the rain, not that it could be seen. But Akemi was broken. Raped. She would conceive his damned children. His damned pups. She felt the truth of it sink into her gut, like a cold vice grip. The man who did this would pay, oh gods she prayed she would get through this. She wanted her brothers. She wanted out of this storm. She just wanted to collapse and cry and never, ever think or feel again.

With the rain Akemi almost ran over the territory markers of a pack, and would come to a halt, panting and shivering as she rested under a tree. The tiny jerboa would craw onto her face, whining some as the large droplets of water found him. "Mama... I'm cold... and wet." It was for this little creature, for Tiny, that she kept pressing on. That she didn't break. He looked up to her, for some odd reason, and now... she needed him to give her strength til she found her brothers. This time... she had get justice. Before things got worse. But right now her thoughts were getting out of the storm while there was a slight lull to it. She would howl, Tiny rolling to rest on her forehead, as exhausted wolfess and companion waited for the alpha.

Can we pretend that airplanes

In the night sky are like shooting stars?

Freyr had went to find the male that had hurt his sister, rain pouring down on him as he caught her scent. Another scent made him growl, and he blinked water out of his eyes, glancing around as he flattened his ears, his pelt clinging to his skin, as he hit the mud heavily. When he finally caught her scent again, terror went through him, hoping that he hadn't broke his promise that the male wouldn't be around her again. As he moved around, he opened his jaws, though for a moment nothing came out. Then he spoke again, trying to see if his sister would respond. "Akemi!" There was no response, and the muddy male rushed in any direction, not noticing the tears running down his face and mistaking them for raindrops. He wanted to find her, but he was tired, and, as he ran, pain pierced through one paw, probably a rock or something piercing into his paw.

Wincing, he yanked his paw up, limping even faster as he attempted to find Akemi. Finally, he saw his sister, as fast as he could, the rain falling on him even as he reached her. His light blue eyes examined her, making sure she wasn't hurt, and paused when he smelt the male on her. He stood over her, protecting her from the rain, and let out a low whine. He had broken his promise. The male had came again, and the gold and black male dropped his head, sadness in his blue gaze. They were almost wild as he glanced at the sky, wondering what he should do. The man would pay, he would give the ma justice if he had to do it himself. Hopefully Hati would listen to him, and maybe the two could try and find that male and hurt him. Finally staring at his sister, he almost spoke, but paused. He didn't know what to say to her. His brothers would laugh at the charming little brother, now at a loss of words when someone needed them the most.

When a small voice called her mama, Freyr spotted her companion, and risked a small smile at the small creature. When Akemi howled, the male raised his head and howled as well, still guarding his little sister from the rain. He would never leave her side again, unless he had to. And that male was one of the reasons he had to.

Walk | Talk | Think

As a precaution for the rest of the pack, Rune had been scoping out the Gulley, seeking out the very locations he had warned against them visiting. They were unsafe and dangerous, liable to catch one of his family off guard, but he needed to see with his own eyes just what it was they were up against, to know exactly where it was they needed to avoid in order to keep the rest of them safe. And it seemed he had been right to worry. Already he had found two locations where the waters had started to collect, forming pools that were growing by the minute as the rains persisted. In other places, he had seen new streams shoot up, runoff collecting and creating them as they fueled the growing pools further within the Gulley. As he surveyed it all through his typical frown, the burly grey male hoped for their continued safety.

Just faintly through the incessant drumming of the rain could he hear the call of someone at the border, and reflexively he felt his hackles raise. The last visitor he had had at his border had been someone searching for alliances. Given the current weather that appeared to be sweeping across the eastern portion of the lands, he prayed it was not another pack-related visit. Feeling aggravated already, turning away from his inspection, Rune left the water in the Gulley to continue about its business, hurrying off through the mud and rain to seek out this business of his own.

He traveled up and out of the Gulley, moving toward its very edge and found the source of the howl taking shelter beneath the trees that sat upon the border of his home. The second he saw the pair he knew he was in trouble. These were not messengers or leaders from another pack. From the state the pair were in, he could not even begin to assume they were part of any sort of pack. And he had a hunch just why they had ended up here at his doorstep. Breathing roughly out through his nose, Rune walked the rest of the way toward them, frowning as per usual, and eyed both of them warily simply because he was sure he understood why they were here. "Picked a great time to be out and about," he remarked dryly, glancing between the two again before he made himself ask, "Can I help you?"

And I Know That I

I Sometimes Tend To Lose My Temper

And I Cross The Line
The fae was so tired. Worn. She just wanted to curl up, crying forever. Had Freyr not come to her she felt like she was just going to break. Her tiny body could still feel the form of the massive male upon her. She had barely supported him, legs quivering. The memory, the feelings, wouldn?t leave her. Once their fell silent Akemi would rest her head on Freyr?s leg, shaking. ?F-Freyr...? She whined. It was bad enough him damaging her once. Now... She would... She couldn?t bear to finish the thought. What was she going to do? She was no mother. No real mother anyway. Sure she had started taking care of Tiny... But pups? What the hell would she do? Would she even survive the birthing?

Tears would roll, and Akemi would slowly pull back, feeling Tiny shifting. The pygmy jerboa was looking up at Freyr, head tilted slightly to the side with a little smile. He was still shivering, but at least he seemed a bit calmer in seeing a male that wasn?t hurting his mama. Akemi would swallow hard, the poor remains of her ears shifting slightly as she turned her head in the direction of an approaching male. He didn?t look all too thrilled seeing them, and the woman thanked the rain for hiding her tears. She would swallow, trying to get her breath, a bit of calm, to speak to the male when he finally approached.

?It wasn?t by choice, I assure you.? Akemi would state, taking another breath as she tried to keep herself calm. ?I?m just going to cut to the chase with you, alright? I... I?m looking to join this pack. I?m in a bad spot, I?ve been raped by a wolf twice my height and probably at least three times my weight. I?m likely going to bear his kids. I need somewhere to stay... When I?m not heavy with pregnancy or in the early stages with the pups I can assist you all... I can hunt... And fight...? She would trail off. ?I... I can?t speak for my brother but... I know that I want to join you... I need to find a stable home...? Or as stable as she could get with a storm this bad. Tiny would scurry underneath Freyr now, looking up at Rune with his beady eyes. ?Please let me and my mama stay, sir. She?s a good mama, she is!?

Walk | Talk | Think

Honestly, just from looking at the woman, even smaller than his own mate, Rune wondered how she was even upright. She looked like she might crumble over at any moment were it not for the male seated beside her, offering support and, Rune assumed, comfort. She was sure in a bad place - really both of them were. This was not the sort of weather one wanted to be out in for any length of time and for any particular reason. Hell, Rune himself was eager to get back inside the Gulley and try to get dry again as the walk here and simply standing about as he was was getting his soaked all over again. The perks of being an Alpha.

He had made assumptions right from the start, just from his first glance and initial assessment of the petite wolf, but as she spoke, her voice a bit wobbly but strong, he realized he had her wrong. She did not try to plead her case with him, did not beg for shelter or sanctuary. Instead, she was blunt, straightforward, and did not try to sugar coat anything that had happened to her. It surprised the Guardian immensely - he really had been expecting her to start crying and begging for help - and the fact she could hold herself together so well was testament to her strength and fortitude, traits that he found admirable and commendable.

What seemed to pull at his strings even further was the traumatic experience she had gone through. It was not widely known that his own mate had been through something similar - though nothing had come of it and he had no intentions of broadcasting the event to those who really had no business in knowing about it. But he could recall how distraught and distressed she had been, how helpless he had felt, and how difficult a time it had been for her to get through. And here was someone else who was facing that same crisis, likely carrying an unwanted litter of pups as a result, and she could still look him in the face and make a case for herself as an asset to his pack.

He never would have imagined that the first wolf to show herself upon his border wishing to join would sway him so quickly. It was startling, but nevertheless he found himself answering her, and her wide-eyed little companion as well, "I wish an apology for what happened to you could somehow suffice for what you've been through, but I know it can't and won't. You're a strong woman, a smart woman, and I admire your bravery. I am Rune, Guardian and founder of Secretua. You can count yourself safe among my family."

His frosty blue eyes blinked against the downpour and turned his gaze upon the male who had arrived with her, wondering what his decision would end up being. He had yet to really determine anything about him, but he seemed to be a steady support for the woman who claimed to be his sister. Likely she would need him more within the coming weeks as her condition became more apparent and trying on her, and for that reason alone he hoped the male would agree to join as well. But, leaving the option up to him, he prompted, "Will you join her?"

It wasn't long before the male that ran the pack came, and Freyr glanced at his sister, wondering if he should speak. But before he could speak, Akemi spoke, and Freyr felt his claws dig into the ground at the news, his icy blue eyes narrowed as a low growl went through the air. He wanted to show that wolf that he should have never messed with his sister. He was unaware that he was shaking with rage, until he glanced down at his paws, sighing and struggling to keep himself until control, hoping not to scare Tiny. When the male asked him if he would join his sister, the male nodded, relaxing as he thought of what to ask. "Yes. I will join. But, may I ask one thing?"

With a glance at Akemi, he smiled weakly and spoke again. "I ask that we found this male, and give him justice. No. Justice isn't good enough for him. If you accept, I ask that we make it so that he can never walk again." He smiled, although it was kind of eerie, his fangs showing.

She found herself a home. Akemi was able to breathe, giving a small nod to Rune as he spoke. Secretua was her new pack... and she would give all she could to keep her word, her oath, to be beneficial to this new home. Akemi would dip her head, a silent thanks, as the question was then posed to her brother. Would he join her? She did not see why he wouldn't... but still her good eye would shift to him, seeking his answer. She would feel Tiny climb on her paw as Freyr spoke, and had her ears remained his words would have caused them to be pinned back. When Akemi spoke, her words were a low growl.

"No Freyr." She would look back to Rune, dipping her head. "With respect, Rune... If this male comes upon your lands I do not expect you to show him mercy... however the hunting and punishment of this male otherwise belongs to my family. There are enough of us... we merely need to spread the word and justice will be dealt." She could imagine Skoll or Hati especially ready to draw blood on seeing her condition and hearing the news. Finding as many of them as possible and spreading the word... would be necessary. But first things first... getting somewhere dry and warm, and waiting for these damned storms to be over.

Walk | Talk | Think

Whatever composure the female wolf possessed, the one she called her brother lacked. Even under the narrowed stare of Secretua's Guardian the wolf still shook with rage, obviously riled by the events that revolved around his petite sibling. Rune could understand it. He had felt something similar when he had learned of his sister's pregnancy, no matter the circumstances that revolved around it. Still, when the male suggested that they find the one responsible and bring him to justice the Guardian felt his furrowed brow deepen. That was not at all what he wanted to burden his pack with. He might not have condoned what had happened, but it was all before their arrival, before his involvement in their lives, and he was not prepared to start jumping into things that were not his responsibility.

Before he could begin to reconsider the welcome he had given both wolves, the female again spoke, giving Freyr pause and altering the demands of her sibling. They eased Rune's mind - at least he would not need to be bothered with their previous lives - and made him more comfortable with allowing them both to stay. "Very well," he responded, nodding his head, "I'd like to welcome you both to Secretua. If you've no objections, I'll bring you into the pack lands." With a strong desire to get back into the Gulley and as far out of the rain as possible, the grey wolf glanced at Akemi and Freyr before turning to lead them both into Secretua and further into safety.
