What's Happening...?

Eight, nine, ten... She stopped, brows coming together. She had gone out for a walk, just wanting to get away from Seracia, form the people there. Since being back she was finding it hard to get back in the rhythm, act normal. It was impossible though, Octavian's death had affected her mind. Changing her. The voices making her... do this. Grey orbs ran over the small scars across her legs, cuts created from her own fangs. Punishment, guilt... fear.

With a heavy sigh she pulled away, pushing herself up, paws carrying her further into the lands. She had counted those too many times, knew exactly how many were on her legs, and what each one was for. That's not why she came out here though. She wanted to clear her head.

When she finally stopped the shewolf lifted her head, grey gaze scanning the terrain. Was she lost? Not entirely, Loccian knew she was east of Seracia, just wasn't familiar with these lands. Out of curiousity she moved further in, tail hanging behind her, head held out parallel to the ground. She sniffed the air, taking in the cool scent of the winter lands. She had almost forgotten it was winter, lost in her thoughts a majority of the time.

The tall male could feel the cold in his bones, winter was his time to shine, being his birth season. He was four this winter, his age was slowly creeping up on him and it felt as if time was just flying by with no interest in slowing down, he was only half okay with that. His tail swayed as he moved, his large paws just lazily skimming across the surface of the earth, his hackles dancing in the cool breeze. He ran his tongue over his scarred lips, his long ears that were torn up, lay flat against his head. The man wandered in silence, his mind speaking to him quietly on what he was doing and why. He didn't live anywhere or belong anywhere, so what did it matter where he was. He couldn't smell much right now anyway. His long canines hung over his lips leaving part of his gums subjected to the cool air, he didn't even care anymore.

As he pondered in silence he caught a scent, faint but there, female, a wolf, he quietly began to stalk after them. His tail swayed keeping his mass balanced, his ears stay against his skull and his eyes wandering over the landscape, where was she? Who was she? There she was. His eyes landed on the grey female in the distance. His mouth beginning to salivate. He slowed to a halt and watched her, what was she doing? Why was she here? He growled lowly but she wouldn't hear it. His tail wagged slightly, hackles bristled up in agitation, nothing like a meal walking into your paws. He was hungry. His sunken in stomach and boney ribs showing, he ran his tongue over his lips again as the saliva dripped slowly. Who was she? She smelt good.

His eyes watched closely, he moved along and watched her, he couldn't help himself. His neck puffed in a dominant manner, it was time to make his move. His body moved quickly which was something he didn't often do, he bounced over a few objects and popped into the open, his paws hitting the ground rather harshly and with weight on it. He growled loudly and approached her. His head high, hackles raised along his spine and ears flat, he stared at her, his chest puffed, Demo was a very odd male. He then smiled, his long canines showed, his head tilted in a charming manner, he bowed his head slightly then held it high. His lips peeled back, stretching the scars along his muzzle.

'And who do I owe the pleasure of crossing paths with?'

His deep vocals slipped off his tongue, his tail flicked gently and hackles slowly lowered, his ears didn't move though, Demo's ears were always flat to his head, it was just who he was, he looked odd with his chewed up ears, standing straight and tall. He ran his tongue over his lips once more, he took a step towards her, eyes lifeless but his body showing he was relaxed and not looking to harm her, he wouldn't harm her, it wasn't on his to do list. He waited quietly for an answer from her, hoping not to frighten her off just yet.

What's Happening...?

She had just been strolling along, minding her own business, lost in her own thoughts. Grey eyes ran over the land before her, tracing over the shape of the ground, some bushes, and even a lone tree here and there. It wasn't anything great, but then again she shouldn't have expected it to be, it was Winter after all. It was plain, the snow blanketing just about everything, only a few bald spots here and there on some bushes and the lone trees.

With a sigh she continued on, sniffing the air, catching the sent of an animal but it as stale, a day or two old. But she suddenly came to a stop, grey orbs searching the darkness, clouds rolling in, casting more shadows around her. She had a feeling something was watching her, was it the voices that were in her head? It was nothing knew, she had been having the feeling since Octavian's death, during those days she spent alone, isolating herself.

Suddenly there was a noise from behind her, causing the small shewolf to jump, body twisting to face the direction it had come from. Her body tensed up, the hair around her nape bristling, ears back and body lowering to the ground slightly with tail between her legs. Immediately one could tell she was no fighter, not having the muscle. Not only that but she had a sweet aroma, literally, the result of being a medic, having her den full of various plants, their scents seeping into her fur and staying there.

Grey orbs ran over the large brute's body, running over all the scars, going over his oddly shaped body before focusing on his mismatched eyes. She quickly looked away, but did notice he went from being rough and intimidating, to rough, friendly-ish and intimidating, even bowing to her. And who do I owe the pleasure of crossing paths with? His deep voice reached her ears, but she remained standing there with tail between her legs and body but standing fully up with her head down.

The names... Loccian. She spoke softly, slightly lifting her head, eyes going no further up, remaining below his head. He took a step towards her, she took two steps back. She didn't know this guy, didn't know where he came from or what he has done. One could never trust strangers immediately, you had to have your guard up, not appear too weak. And you? She returned a question, clearing her throat, shifting on her paws.
