Everything felt different slightly, his eyes watching the lake that surrounded the land. The cold began to surround him like a sheet as the water started to show signs of becoming frozen. He couldn't bear room be without his mate, but she was probably in her pack, and he was a far off distance away from her pack lands. He sighed and hung his head slightly and lapped at the frigid liquid. Winter seemed to become early this year, and he knew it after being on different lands for a long time. He was more of a traveler and did not stay in one place for too long as he looked to see a crow hanging from a branch as it soon perched upon his shoulder. Suzaro did not heed it and soon looked around as he howled out as loud as he could for his mate. Scars covered his body from the rogue, but he was in slight pain than he was a couple days ago.

Tricia's ears perked up at the deep solemn sound that seemed to fill them. Her silver orbs danced with joy as she recognized the howl of her mate. Her body trembled in the cold but she paid it no mind as she ran out of the forest and up the path towards the north. She found herself wishing for her legs to move faster, even though they barely touched the ground. She was lucky that she had been built to run otherwise this trip would have taken days. Instead it only good her a few hours with the extremely fast pace that she kept up. She slowed to a slow gait and smoothed her white fur as she neared the pond. Her gashes had slightly healed into three long scabs running down her back. Her silver orbs danced with complete and utter joy when she spotted her mate in front of her. "Suzaro..." she breathed, too stunned to seem him there looking better than ever, seeming to have little conflict inside of his mind. She ran up to the pure white male and pushed her muzzle deep into his chest. Speech,

The white brute smiled and brought his head down so that his muzzle was touching her shoulder. He couldn't help but smile for he was happy to see her. The thoughts of his brother were minimal this time, and he was grateful for that. He was pleased to see that his mate's cuts were scabbed over. The gashes would heal within a month or so, but the long gash that was across his face still lay dormant and fresh, for this wound, being deep as it was, would never heal. His golden eyes met his mate's silver ones as he released his grip from her.

"Trica. I am glad that your wounds are healing rather nicely, you must have some gifted healers." He sat upon his haunches and looked in front lfw him as he smiled at his mate, he did not remember how much he had smiled until he had met Trica. He was a different wolf whenever he was around her.

Her silver eyes met his golden ones before dwelling on the deep gash that lay permanently on his maw. She tilted her back and licked it fervently, trying to heal it though her attempts made no difference. She looked back into his golden orbs and glanced back and forth worriedly. "You-you're okay right?" she hesitated, her simple question meaning a lot more than she let on. She trembled, worried that his thinking had led to some decisions of his being regretted. Her eyes traveled back up to his, trying to ignore the pounding of her heart as she awaited his response. Speech,

Suzaro could sense the hesitation in his mate's tone. He could tell she was scared of his injury, but he gave a small smile and nudged her cheek, trying to comfort her as best as he could. "The would may seem bad, but it looks than it feels," he insisted and lied down, looking to the sky as the wind continued to surround him, causing his pelt to blow as it began to get heavier so he would be warm during the winter months that would be approaching soon. There was a tree den nearby as he walked inside and waited for Trica to follow.

The den was warm and inviting. A faint smell of fox was noticeable, but the scent was old so the fox had probably abandoned the den. He placed his head down and wrapped his tail and body around Trica to help keep her warm.

Trica nodded solemnly at his answer, knowing that he was only saying it to make her feel better. She followed him to the tree den but hesitated at the scent of fox, she huffed in annoyance as a branch got caught in her long fur. She quickly followed her mate into the den when the breeze started to pick up. She snuggles gratefully into his heavy fur, her own long but thin, even as the winter months came. "Are you really ok?" she mumbled seriously, both of them knowing now that she wasn't talking about his wound. Wounds would heal, and though that one would leave a frightful scar, it would heal as well. Her silver eyes shine with tears as memories of a couple of days ago flooded back to her, one by one. She huffed in annoyance, yet again, at herself, for being so emotional. Speech,

He nodded and began to keep her warm as the cold began to pick up in speed as some branches snapped off trees and the the last few leaves that he could see were beginning to snap off branches and fall onto the ground. His golden optics focused on the back of his mate as he nipped her ear, playfully tugging it and giving snarls as well. He wanyedd to act like as if he were feeling better, and he was. But, he was feeling a lot better thanks to Trica being there for him.

"I am feeling better, and thanks to you, I am able to stay focused on you and only you," he licked her cheek and soon placed his head on his paws and watched the world from the den opening.

Trica grinned at his playfulness and loving words. She waited a few moments before quickly shooting her head around and nipping his ear, flicking. The other one with the tip of her tail. She wanted to play, she had been cooped up in her pack for almost a week with nothing to do. She wanted to have fun. Her eyes widened, showing her silver orbs as clear as the moon. Her ears were perked up and a grin was plastered on her maw. Trica playfully glared at her mate, daring him to fight her. She bowed down again, smirking at him. Speech,

The brute chuckled and stood up, going into a bow position as he began to playfully snarl and tackled her, pinning her down gently as he licked her muzzle, trying not to harm her in any way he could. The last thing he wished to do was hurt her again. His golden orbs meeting her silver one. It was like the world stood still as he could only hear their breathing as well as their heartbeats. He knew that when they had pups, Trica would be an excellent mother, but he hoped he would be a good father to them despite everything he had been through.

She noticed the hesitation in his nips. She playfully shoved him off before running out of the den, tail wagging in and invitation for the male to chase her. She loved playing like this; just being with him in general made her smile. She was careful not to run too fast, after all she was playing a game of chase with her mate, she wanted to be caught. Her silver orbs caught the beautiful blue in the sky, causing her to slow, clumsily making her trip over a rock. She laughed at her clumsiness before quickly scurrying back up to her paws and making a dash towards the pond. Speech,

Suzaro saw her dashing toward the pond, but if she cant stop in time she'll fall through the ice that had formed a small sheet due to the frigid temperatures. The alabaster brute bolted forward toward the pond as well. Since he has a larger form and larger paws, he might be able to stop in time. But, with the speed that Trica was running, he was not sure if she would stop in time or if she would fall in. Either way, he would be by her side if she ever needed his help. He ran toward her as fast as he could, golden optics focused on his mate and her only.

She picked up speed until her paws felt as if they were flying off the ground, she breathed in the cool air and opened her eyes again. Her silver orbs shot open. She was too close to the lake, if she didn't stop she would surely fall in. The frigid temperatures against her small frame would no doubt kill her. Her paws tried to skid to a stop but it seemed as if her speed would never cease. She let out a final whine to her mate, hoping that he knew this was not his fault as she plunged deep into the lake. The cold swarmed around her body as she fought to rise to the surface, the thin layer of ice on top though prevented her from going any farther. Her long fur dragged her downwards, but she fought it, trying with all her might to stay near the ice. Speech,

Suzaro's eyes widened in complete shock. He knew this would happen, and he was stupid to try and prevent something like this from happening to Trica. He stopped at the edge of the lake, smashing the ice as hard as he could with his muscular paws. His golden optics spotted his mate not too far from where he stood as the ice split apart. The alabaster man plunged into the frigid liquid and snapped down onto Trica's neck, bringing her to the shore and getting on land as well as helping her onto it. He wrapped his form around her and bringing his bushy tail around her back as if like a blanket. He dug the snow away from them before doing so and he licked her muzzle, trying to bring warmth back to her. He did not wish to lose her, and he would not let her die of hypothermia.

She fell into the darkness, the lack of air and the ice cold water forced the energy out of her. Black swarmed around her orbs as she fought to remain conscious but it was a lost battle. She vaguely felt strong jaws grasp the scruff around her neck and haul her out of the frigid water. She took a deep breath, sputtering a little before letting the darkness over take her. She felt the coldness withdraw from her body as her mate wrapped around her. Her breathing was still ragged, trying to fill her lungs as full as she could. Her fur was still sopping wet, leaving her small frame to tremble majorly. Speech,

He wrapped himself around his mate even tighter and licked her muzzle, trying to comfort her. Suzaro knew she must have been scared, and the alabaster male did not blame her for trembling, whether it be from cold or having shock surround her. He would never let her die, and he knew she knew it. His golden optics focused on her and listening to make sure no danger would show itself to them again. His salmon tongue was warm and inviting so knowing this, continued to lick the cold water off of her coat as best her could to keep her warm. He was cold as well, but keeping her warm and safe was his top priority at the moment.

Trica pushed herself deeper into the warm blanket that surrounded her, soft licks were placed upon her body to try and warm it as best as she could. With one final gasp, her breathing returned to normal. She opened her golden orbs for the first time in what felt like days, but was only really hours, and looked into her mate's golden ones. She noticed the worry in the golden gems and pressed a warm lick upon his nose. She was entirely grateful to him, this had been the second time he had saved her life, and she had the feeling it wouldn't be the last. She noticed the slight shiver that the male gave and concern etched across her muzzle. "Suzaro, love, how long have you been sitting here with me." she asked, feigning curiousness that hopefully masked her worry. What if he got hypothermia. She was fairly certain that she was ok now, a little chilly maybe but that was alright. Her mate though had been wrapped around her and focused on making her warm, not himself, and that worried her greatly. If he died she had no clue what she would do. Speech,

He shivered a little bit more and coughed slightly, shaking a little as the cold had somehow felt like it was around his bones, making his teeth to chatter slightly. He nodded and licked her muzzle, "I have only been around you for a couple hours," he spoke with kindness and gratefulness, happy that his mate had spoken to him, showing that she would be alright, "I may be cold, but I am happy that you're alive. Do not pay attention to my shivering love, I'll be alright," he would speak as he placed his head on his front paws and focused on warming himself up now.

The white male tried to mask his coldness to his mate but she could sense it, and no matter what he said to convince her otherwise she wasn't going to buy it. "Love, don't lie to me..." she whispered in his white ear. She blew into as she whispered and got up, making sure to drag her tail along his chin and started walking to the tree den. Her walk was unsteady, but she paid no heed to it as she tried to coax her mate into the den with her, hoping to get him warm. Speech,

He knew she did not pay any attention to his lie. He sighed and wobbled to his paws and began to walk his mate inside the tree den. He lied down beside her as the warm den kept them warm easily. His golden optics shimmered in the slight darkness of the tree den, and he wrapped around her coat and closed his eyes, trying to keep warm and listen to his mate. He wished to be warm, and he hoped that she would love to have pups with him, but he did not ask her yet, he would wait for a while before asking.

She was glad to see her mate wobble after her. They cuddled in the darkness of the cave, both left to their own thoughts. She knew that one day should would love to have a litter with him, she decided not to scare him off though, not when they were having such a great time just snuggling together. She tilted her back and nipped his ear softly, tugging on it to tilt his head towards her and off of his paws. Once his head was out of the way she slipped her muzzle underneath it and put her head on his paws. Speech,
