The Sun Scorched My Back, The Scents In This Area Vastly Different And The Sights Unfamiliar As I Continued My Path. Never Had I Been Beyond The Snow Before, So To See And Feel The Blazing Heat, Was Something Entirely New...And Uncomfortable. My Paw Pads Burned On The Ground, My Nose Riddled With The Strong Stench Of Blood Both Stale And New. The Bleached Bones Of Animals Protruded From The Ground At Different Angles, As If They Fought And Failed, Only To Be Cast And Torn To Rest. Mangled Fur, Pools Of Blood, Cracked Bones And Whole Skeletons...The Scenery Was Not What I Expected. I Felt My Spine Ripple With Fear, For Some Unknown Reason I Could Feel The Overwhelming Sense Of Dread And Fear In This Place. As If The Departed Souls Were Not Truly Departed, But Wandering Aimlessly Invisible...Forgotten. I Paused In My Quest, Stopping To Try And Find A Clean Breath Of Air, But Alas, There Would Be No Such Luxury Here For My Tired Lungs. I Wanted So Badly To Lie Down, But I Do Not Wish To Soil My Fur With The Blood Of The Deceased.

Would There Be No End To My Journey? I've Traveled So Far, And Yet I Am Lost. What Are These Lands? The Lands So Strange And So...Desolate. I've Not Seen A Single Soul Except For Those I've Hunted, And Those I've Run From. Not A Single Friendly Face To Be Seen...I've Never Felt So Lonely In My Life. Once In A While, I Would Catch A Scent...But I Dared Not To Follow For Fear Of Hostility.

I Kept Walking, Hoping...Praying To Find Somewhere Peaceful. My Name Is Camille, And My Journey Has Only Just Begun.

He was back to the battlefield, but not as a loner like last time, now he was a member with a goal and was looking for something to keep him busy in the pack of few. He stood firm and oddly calm for somebody in the battlefield, head held high and aqua gaze scanning over the many fighting wolves here. He wanted to fight, feel his fangs sink into the flesh of another even if it was just for practice. But much to his disappointment everyone seemed engaged in a fight, earning a low growl from the boy who moved forward, into the heart of the short grasses. That was when he spotted the female, so out of place in a place like this. Was she just 'passing through' or was she seriously looking for a spar? Quickly he would bark, beckoning for her attention, his paws turning his body and carrying him over to her. ?Spar??

I Gazed About, The Thunderous Growls Of Rage All Around Me As Bodies Clashed. Had I Been So Focused In My Own Thoughts That I Did Not Notice Anyone Before? Perhaps So. I Began To Think That Perhaps This Place Was A Battlefield, War Grounds For Those Who Sought The Blood Of Another. Quickly, I Picked Up My Pace And Put Distance Between Myself And The Fighters, Their Cries Fading Slightly In The Distance Behind Me. I Figured I Would Be Safe, Perhaps Even Get Away From Here Without Any Confrontation, Despite How Badly I Wanted To Know About This Place. And, As Luck Would Have It..."Spar?"

A Voice Of A Stranger Crawled Into My Ears, I Looked At Him As I Stopped In My Tracks, This One A Young Male. Hesitant Though I Was, It Took Me A Few Moments To Respond. He Wanted To Fight? Plenty Of Things Began To String Themselves Across My Train Of Thought. Fear, Hesitance, The Creeping Of Cowardice...Then It Hit Me. Why Was I Afraid? My Tribe Was Bred For These Moments. We Carried Endurance, I Was Not A Delicate Blade Of Grass, But A Bulky Tank Built For Fighting. I Carried The Blood Of Domestic And Wild Ancestors, Why Was I Afraid? Fear Of The Unknown. A Voice Would Whisper To Me. However, I Would Merely Shrug It Off With A Low Growl. I Was Not Afraid, I Couldn't Be. What Was There To Be Afraid Of?

Facing Him Full On, I Inclined My Head To Accept. Although I Hadn't Fought In A Long While Since The Departure Of My Homeland, It Was High Time I Got Back Into The Game. My Tailless Figure Stood Firm And Straight, Honey Eyes Staring At The Stranger Before Me. Was There Need For Introduction? Perhaps Yes, Perhaps Not. But To Me, It Was Courteous To Do So Anyway. After All, Know Thy Enemy, Right? But Who Was To Say This Boy Would Become An Enemy...He Could Also Be A Potential Ally.

"I Will Spar With You, Stranger." I Responded At Last, And What Felt To Be Eternal Moments Was No More Than A Few Seconds. Funny How Time Seems To Hold Like That. "I Am Camille, And You?"

The female stopped when she heard his voice, turning around to face him and accepting the spar with an incline of her head. A single ear flicked forward, a dark smile forming on the inside while his true expression was void of any emotion, a mask of calm disinterest. Finally she voiced the acceptance of a spar with Australis, introducing herself as Camille and asking who he was. He felt it very unneeded, should they become friends then maybe, but that was not why he was here. He wanted to fight. ?Australis.? She spoke simply, paws making him take a couple steps back till he was about five veet in front of the female.

Even if he had approached the girl first, the male was not gonna attack and get the first hit on her. Ladies first. Limbs spread equally beneath his large frame, the weight being distributed over them. Head and neck became in line with his spine, ears pulled back against his skull, eyes narrowed, brows together. Chin tucked down towards his throat, tail up and held out behind him. Muscles rippled beneath thick fur, tensing along his abdomen and sides. Lastly shoulders lifted and rolled forward while his head pulled back, the skin folding. "Ladies first." He was ready. Let's go.

((First Spar, Read The Guide Too So Hopefully I Don't Do Too Bad!))

He Moved Away From Me, But Only By A Few Feet. I Watched As He Set His Defenses, My Eyes Falling To His Tail While At The Same Time, My Own Ears Fell Flat Against My Skull. I Was Envious, And A Bit Nervous. I Hadn't Much Experience In The Fighting Field, Much Less Without My Tail Now...Would He Have A Greater Advantage In Balance? I Began To Question Myself, And Then The Doubt Would Come...My Heart Hammered, And Then His Words Echoed. "Ladies First." My Breath Caught In My Throat, The Boy Australis Was Ready And Here I Was Standing Like A Fool. Taking A Few Deep Breaths, I Shook Off What I Could Of The Doubt And Readied Myself. I Can Do This. I Told Myself.

I Rolled My Neck And Shoulders First In A Vain Attempt To Loosen Myself Up. I Watched What He Did, And So I Copied To The Best Of My Ability. I Narrowed My Eyes, My Ears Flattened To My Head, My Knees Bent, And I Aligned My Head And Spine. One Last Deep Breath...
I Stared At My Opponent, Quickly Deciding Where I Would Try To Strike. Once Located, I Launched Myself. I Moved Quicker Then I Anticipated, My Paws Falling Heavily Upon The Ground As My Claws Dug In For Traction With Each Step. My Shoulders Rolled Forward, Preparing For Impact. I Dove At Him Almost Head On Before Leaning Slightly To The Left, Coming At Him At A Slight Angle. My Left Shoulder Jutted Forward, My Intention Was To Crash My Weight Into The Left Side Of His Chest & Push Him Back. As I Did This, My Scruff Bunched Forward To Add Some Protection, My Head Lowering Over My Throat In A Manner Possible To my Position. Since My Body Was Built More Like A Tank, I Figured Why Not Use It To My Advantage? As I Attempted To Collide With Him, I Placed My Weight More On My Hind Legs, Hoping To Even Out The Fact That I Had No Tail To Use For Balance. I Tightened My Abdomen, Blood Rushing Through My Ears As My Body Roared With The Fire Of My Ancestors. With A Pounding Heart, I Attempted To Snake My Left Foreleg Forward To Try And Hook His Left Foreleg, Perhaps An All Too Simple And Yet Vain Attempt To Compromise His Balance. While Attempting This, I Decided To Try For First Bite, And So My Head Jerked To The Left, Teeth Seeking His Ear. Though With My Luck, I Probably Would Not Attain Such A Feat...
