The black-and-white male carried himself from home to another part of Ala. He was curious about visiting the cousin he had heard so much about, especially since he was also a ruler. Dhiren silently wondered if all of his family would eventually take over all of the world, but that seemed impossible at that point. For now, he would just be amazed at how many packs were run by a Destruction family member.
After leaving early that morning, he arrived at the borders a little bit after midday set in. Fall was here and he could tell by the leaves slowly changing color around him. Silver and gold eyes admired them before he closed them and tilted back his head to howl. He didn't know where he stood in regards to his long lost cousin, but he would soon find out.

The voice that called out to him was a strange one indeed, certainly not one he knew by heart. Instantly the Azat was curious, raising to his paws and walking out of his stone den. He paused at the entrance, looking back to eye the still dozing Wren. Bass' grin was soft as his golden eyes took in the sight of her curled there, still getting used to the fact that he had a wife. The mere thought was enough to bring a warm glow to his cheeks, and with one last long look he took off for the borders. The run was a short one -- he was hardly out of breath by the time he got there. Eyes carefully took in the stranger, a brow raising slightly. It took him awhile, it was obvious that the gears were grinding in his head to try and piece together who this male was. Finally it came to him, Song had told him about the black and white male who ruled at her side. What was his name again? Lips smacked together as his mind gave him one last clue -- Dhiren. "Greetings cousin. To what honor do I have of meeting you here today?" He asked. There was a softness to his voice, family was everything to the man. Coming up in front of him he sat down, white tail curling around his paws. Was it politics that drove him here today, or just curious about his neighboring family?

Bass's appearance was one that Dhiren didn't have to wait on. For that, he was thankful. Life was too short and he wanted to see how his distant cousin was doing. Even though they hadn't been raised together, Dhiren had a guess that maybe, just maybe, their blood relation could be the baseline for a future friendship.
His tail slowly wagged behind him as he saw the white-coated male approach from his left. His greeting made Dhiren smile and he replied in the same happy tone. "Good morning, cousin! I came by because, well..." That was when Dhiren slightly faltered in his wording. "I haven't been to Avaben yet and I have heard good things...Us Destructions have that awesome reputation." He chuckled and his bi-colored eyes sparkled. "What can you tell me about your home?"

As he sat before the darker hued male, Bass' eyes shone at Dhiren. It was always nice to see family, he needed to make it more of a task to go out and visit them more often. But with the storms rolling over Alacrita and the loss of members -- well he had had his paws full. But speaking to members of the Destruction family always had a way of calming his soul, making him feel more at ease with himself. When the other man brought up the fact that their family seemed to rule the whole Eastern lands, Bass couldn't help but snort. "It would seem that soon only Destruction packs will live in the East." He teased, his tail twitching against his paws. "Plus don't feel bad about not making it here just yet, I have yet to come to Sawtooth. I have been seriously lacking in my politics, its just so... boring!" He said with a laugh, his head shaking back and forth slowly. His head stilled what Dhiren asked of his home he himself paused, his ears pulling forward. "Well there isn't much to say. We have these lands here -- Serpent Plains -- as well as the Monument Rapids. After the storms they flooded and became even more dangerous. As for how we work, Abaven is kind of a mercenary pack. Any pack can come to us and let out some of my guards, in turn for a favor. This may be anything from offering us a wolf to train our healers, or supplies when we are short." Bass stopped, head tilting to the side. "What about Sawtooth?" Surly hearing Dhiren talk would be better than him rambling on and on.
