He hadn't wandered up into the north since his return to Alacritis, but the longer he lingered in the south the more apparent it became that perhaps his family had wandered into the further reaches of the continent. As he padded across the dark sands he only hoped he wouldn't have to venture any farther into the frigid north. He had gotten quite used to the warmth of the south and wasn't pleased to be up here shivering. But, in the end, he knew it would be worth it if he found any of his siblings.

He paused at a puddle of rainwater to lap up a few mouthfuls before turning to face the shore, watching the waves lap up at the oddly colored sands. He shivered lightly as a cold breeze came up off the ocean and ruffled his russet coat. Shaking out his fur to fluff it up against the wind he glanced around, his bright blue gaze searching the area around him while he breathed in the air for any traces of familiar scents.

It was hard to pull herself away from Athena now that she had returned to the goddess. There was just something that called her soul to the beach that day, and she had always followed her gut. This time she had told Athena that she was leaving for a bit, but she fully intended to be back by the evening. So she followed her heart, russet ears standing high as her little rabbit tail wiggled with vigor behind her. Her paws sunk into the sand a bit as she glided across the grains, her nose straining to pick up the thing she had been called here for. And there it was. Small bodice froze, single dark gray paw raised as she looked towards the shores. No... it couldn't be. "Leo?" She breathed, blinking her cyan eyes several times to make sure she wasn't dreaming. This is who she had gone off in search of, and here he was! At last she strove into action, a wild giggle bursting forth from her maw as she raced towards her brother.

Coming to a sliding stop, the girl almost rammed right into Leo as she tossed her front legs in his general direction, her chest colliding with him as more gleeful giggles left her maw. "Oh my dearest brother! Where have you been hiding yourself? I searched the whole world for you!" She called, almost tumbling onto her back as she tried to right herself, de-tangling her body from that of her sibling.

speech

Leo's ivory ear flicked back as a hint of a word caught his attention, along with the sound of rapid paw steps. He turned around just in time to see his sister throwing herself at him, her chest hitting his with a solid thump. A small woosh of air left his lungs and his wide, surprised sapphire gaze blinking several times out of surprise before realized what had happened and connected that this was his sister Amalia. A wide grin broke out over his muzzle and he laughed, nuzzling her affectionately before she stumbled back to right herself again. "Well you must not have searched the whole world, silly, or you would have found me," he teased, chuckling while he glanced her up and down, glad to see that she was doing well even though it did amuse him just a bit that the last time he had seen her he was probably quite a bit smaller than her and now the tables were reversed.

He was truly overjoyed to see her, his tail wagging happily behind him and a huge smile on his muzzle. "I've been exploring," he explained simply in response to her question of where he had been. "I even wandered out of Alacritis for a bit and looked at so much of the world. But I missed you and our other siblings too much, I had to come back. So here I am!" He was happy to have such joyous reactions from both of his sisters. Now if only he could get such reactions from his brothers, then his search for them would be easy. "What about you, sis? What have you been up to?"

She heard the air whoosh out of her brothers lungs, but at the moment she didn't much care. She hadn't seen her family in far too long, and it made her heart sore that Leo was before her right now. After running into Athena once more she didn't think that anything could get any better, but now look! Her brother was alive and well, and teasing her at that. ?Well its not like you stayed in one place the whole time I was searching! I bet you ran away just to make me look longer.? She said, teasing him right back. As her little stub of a tail wagged, her body swaying with the movement, seeing that Leo had looked at her and smirked. It was true that Amalia had always been small, but she had been a bit larger than him as a pup. But she didn't grow much after that, it would seem that fate would have her closer to the ground than her russet litter-mate. ?I see you eying me up. Just because I'm small doesn't mean that I can't beat you!? She called with a giddy laugh.

It seemed like exploring was in their blood, for that is what had called Aaron away. He had seen the world, but it seemed like he too had been called back to Alacrita. Her ears darted forward when he mentioned their other siblings, her weight shifting from paw to paw in a bit of a happy dance. ?Have you seen the others? And Mother? I have yet to see them yet, I went straight to Athena when I returned from my hunt for you guys.? She needed to see her Mother, she missed her dearly. Not that she would be happy about her staying within Bevroren, Mother had never liked that bloodline. But surly she would look passed that and just be happy to have her family together once more. Amalia stepped forward and nuzzled her brother, just simply overjoyed that he had come back not long after she had. ?Well, like I said I went looking for you and the others, but I couldn't keep myself away from Athena for long. When I came back I went straight for Bevroren -- I had missed it so much! Its nice to be back there again, I owe her so much. She saved my life, and I could never do enough to thank her.? Amalia's voice had grown a bit somber, but as always it didn't last long. Dropping her front half into a playful bow, her rump up in the air she let out a happy woof. ?But I just had the feeling that I needed to come here, and my paws led me straight for you! What do you plan on doing now that you are back??
