There was so much to do in Abaven these days that the girl hardly stopped to breath. She knew Bass was seeing to other parts of the territory, and the two alphas got dirty and sweated to do their part of the work Abaven needed. She had started out with the river, and a small team, digging out blockages and dragging out carcases as they made their way from the start of the stream to the small lake that settled in Abaven territory. It had been a long week to complete that work but she had seen it through and at last she could work on dry ground. Here she did it case by case, seeing who needed help and what there was left to do.

This morning she would stand in the centre of Abaven's territory to take stock, to see the hard work others had put into the land as she decided where to start for the day. A lot of people seemed to have routines built as they worked as she was hesitant to step in their way. She was certain she could find something in need of doing however.

Finally she was able to get at cleaning her den hopefully for someone who might move into it after she would possibly leave Abaven. Moving some of her personal effects from the den brought a little bit of weight to her heart but they needed to be removed after all it was all a mess. There was one person who could help her with this mess and that was Motif. After all she didn't really talk to Motif at all since the storm and now that they were here she did need the help. Nona threw back her head and howled calling out for Motif before continuing on. Her stashed herbs were ruined and clearly nowhere to be found or if they were the herbs weren't what they once were.

Frustration set in as she proceeded to sit at the entrance of her den now waiting. She wasn't frustrated at Motif, only frustrated about the mess that was there to clean up in her den and around it. First order of business was to clean out the dead animals around her den. It was putrid smelling in certain spots but she would suck it up and deal with it. Nona still had to talk to Bass about stuff but for now she had stuff to do here after all she didn't want the next person who would take residence in her den to think she was a slob. For now it was time to wait for Motif.

She was ambling about, passing through the main areas of abaven as she searched for something that needed doing. It was then that a fortunate howl would sound out, calling for the girl and she turned in its direction. She hoped it was someone needing a hand, she felt strange not being at work after the long efforts she had put into the Abaven stream. She made her way in the direction of the caller easily enough, not realising until she saw her that it had been Nona who had called. She was sitting outside her den, surveying the wreckage that was inside as Motif approached. She could see a few scattered herbs, not nearly enough to make up a healers den and the rubble that littered the ground near by. There was sunken parts of mud to the side of the den that needed solid earth to re-stabilize the structure. She could see the work teams hadn't made it here yet, and that here was some work that needed doing.

?Hey Nona, looks like you have a bit of a mess here, but we'll have it sorted in no time? she promised. She surveyed the mess one more time, thinking before she spoke. ?Im going to kick and pack earth into the side here, why don't you start emptying anything left in the den that you need to get rid of?? she asked gently.

Motif had arrived and this would greatly speed up the process of fixing up the area of her den and let her focus on removing stuff from the inside. Nona had to thank Motif but simply no words could describe that but nonetheless she was glad. Nona would open her maw to speak to Motif "Thank you for the help, Motif, the help is truly appreciated... there needs to be a lot replaced for the inside particularly if this was what was once a healer den... can't really tell looking at it now" She chuckled before heading inside to clean the den. She wasn't going to let much slip about what her plans were but the den did indeed need a good fixing up.

Looking around inside the den she would begin to grab and remove things, some of which once held sentimental value to her which brought about a somewhat even heavier weight than the first. This may very well be the last time she would ever see this den after it was cleaned up and sorted out. Something was just sitting on her as her movements became rather sluggish as if her heart was trying to stop her from going back inside the den to keep doing what she was doing. Hopefully Motif wouldn't notice her now rather slow movements.

Motif would smile gently at her friend, looking up over her work to do so as the other spoke. ?At least all this can be fixed and replaced ? your life could not have been done so? she pointed out, preferring the damage to the den to any damage that might have happened to her friend if she had stayed to look after her herbs and home. After speaking she turned her attention to the earth once more, she kicked soft dirt from further out to fill in the howl and packed it in bit by bit, grabbing more dire once the first part was secure, until the earth was filled enough to offer structure to the den. When she was finished she moved her attention to Nona to see how she was going with her own work and to see if she needed help. She also took a step back to survey the den and see which objects they should take pains to clear out. She noticed Nona's work had slowed and her heart went out to the other, it couldn't be easy seeing her home and hard work destroyed so thoroughly. ?If you show me what to pick I can help you restore some of your collection?? she asked, as gentle as before.
