So, she would travel- her heart heavy and her mind confused. She didn't quite understand the sudden influx of packs in Alacritis lately- all these new smells, and newly claimed lands confused her. The doom and gloom that had become her mindset as of lately roared in her mind, as she took a deep breath- taking in the scents of the beach. Her ivory paws sank into the obsidian sand, the granules mingling with her stringy fur. She really should have remained in the pack-lands of her sister- but she didn't want too. She didn't really want to get better. So she traveled, restlessly. She avoided her forest- the land, even if it were to be claimed by the empires sprouting up- that would always be hers. She wasn't ready to see Greek yet. He'd be angry at her for vanishing. He'd want her to get better, so she was best to avoid that.

Her paws carried her to the froth of the beach- where the tide roared against the sand, and she stared into the water. The cool liquid lapped at her feet- chilling her, as she stepped out into the tide. She moved until the water was at her belly, and simply stood there, staring off into the horizon. She was waiting, though she wasn't sure... exactly what she was waiting for.

It wasn't often that she left her children to simply explore. But they were growing and Cru seemed to enjoy spending time with them. So as they all napped, she would depart silently, nudging Cru so he didn't panic when he woke and she was gone. She would leave the territory in favor of a beach. Her pace was slow, as she was in no rush to get anywhere. Plus the terrain was new, unknown so she needed to take her time to avoid bumping into anything.

The sounds of waves would lead her to the water, black sand squishing in between her toes. The cool ocean breeze would wash over her, ruffling her pelt gently. She would come to a halt as anthers scent mingled with the salty air. Muscles would sense as she searched the beach for the source. The last thing she needed was to be ambushed. But the pale woman that stood on the beach was familiar. Brows would furrow at her poor condition, but there was no denying her half sister. A soft bark would leave her jaws before she moved to try and close the distance between them.

"Roman, you look ill." Her crown would tip to the side in question, her singular orb easily sweeping over the woman's pale figure as she stood in the waters. The russet queen would come to a halt just before the waters reach, peering curiously at her half sister.

The water lapped angrily at her legs, as if it could barely keep from devouring her. The cold liquid bit into her skin- but the freezing sting felt relieving. The water before her sparkled against the sunlight, glittering as if it was a fools paradise. The water was murky, and Roman did not know what dangers could be dwelling under its surface. It was hard to care though- with all the darkness in her mind.

A soft bark alerted her that she was not alone. Shaking her head slightly- the alluring spell of the water was broken, and she turned towards the sound. Sibelle, her half sister- looked better than Roman, even though her face was quite marred now. Briefly, Roman could remember the fight between Sibelle and Artemis- and realized that perhaps that was where her eye went. She didn't really remember the details of that day- too much had happened.

"Sibelle." She greeted, her voice a slight rasp. "I've felt better." She admitted. Depression had given way to illness- and the two seemed to torture her relentlessly. "You've looked better, yourself." She noted lightly, glancing at the other she-wolf's face.

Raspy lyrics would leave her half sisters pale jaws, claiming that she had felt better. A small smile would lift her lips as the woman took note of her altered appearance. A humorless chuckle rolled off her tongue as haunches reclined towards the dark sand. "Yes, well unfortunately somethings cannot be changed." A shrug would lift her shoulders. Her torn ear, scarred lips and missing eye were all testaments to her battle driven life. Surely her half sister would understand that fight that flowed freely through their veins. She may have disagreed with her father, but he had proven to be component fighter, and his genes had been passed onto his children without a doubt. There was not a doubt in her mind that if her life was the be ended early, it would be done so during battle.
"What brings you out here?" For as long as she had known Roman, she knew that the woman had always resided in the north, near their fathers pack. It was surprising to see her so far from home and in such a state. Had something happened? They hardly knew each other well enough to pry for information.

Her violet eyes studied the russet queen and sister opposite her- and she thought back to her own battle wounds. Her own flawless beauty had been marred by a hag- and though the cry for battle flooded in her veins- she also held a sense of vanity. Sibelle was marred- and through her own vain eyes, Roman couldn't help but wonder if queen questioned her own beauty? Did she feel the same way about her injuries that Roman had? Did she feel less beautiful? However, vain she was, Roman didn't speak in response- she merely grunted an agreement.

Sibelle spoke again, and Roman chuckled before responding. "The North holds little for me these days." She spoke quietly, her voice wavering slightly. She loathed staying in the arctic wasteland- when every tree- every rock reminded her of what she had lost. "How have things been for you?" She questioned softly, her eyes glancing over her half-sister. So much had changed in these past months, and she wondered what Sibelle had been up too.

Scars riddled her half sisters face, but she was no less beautiful. Her own features had caused her to question her looks. Was she still beautiful? It only took a little time for her to adjust and soon the thoughts no longer plagued her. She was confident in her appearance and she would not allow some scars to change that. If anything it showed her skill and experience in the world. The ivory woman would only grunt in response, not committing to a verbal reply. When she spoke the north, a chuckle would fill her ears, causing a brow to lift curiously. The north had been home to most of the Armadas since they arrived, what could possibly change that for Roman? Whatever it, it had to have been serious to drive the woman from her home, this possibility kept her from asking.

Conversation flowed easily, turning back to her. "Good, I recently had three children. Two girls and boy." She would smile fondly as she envisioned her children. They were a handful, but she loved them all dearly. "What about you?" She would return the question, curious to know if anything had happened in her half sisters life that was worth telling. It had been so long since they had last seen each other, surely she had something to tell.
