It had been a while since he had seen his friend Bass, but he knew that it was time to catch up with old friends and too see where they stood. Anything could have happened in the time that had lapsed between visits, and he was glad the friendly male still held his throne. Abaven had been good to them, lending them a wolf for training and Cru was more then happy to return the favour ? even if his own pack wasn't as swelling and well prepared as Bass's. Even so, he would happily do what he could if Bass needed to train up some healers or hunters ? warriors he had next to none of at the moment sadly. Shaking his head at the thought he stopped at the other boys borders, taking in a whiff of the familiar scent and smiling at the thought of his friend. The boy raised his head and called out to Bass, asking him to join him at the borders, to catch up on old times and see how life was treating each other in the times between. "Speech"

He couldn't help but smile as he heard the familiar call ring out across his land. Pulling himself to his paws he took one last look at his wife, lingering at her growing form. Thankfully she had started to put on weight, but he had kept a very close eye on her. Motif had been more than capable of watching over the pack, even in her new... state. He had to swallow hard, he was still rather unsure what to feel about all of it. He had no idea that his own wife was also carrying children, even though it was not her season. Apparently there was something int he Abavenian water that made all the ladies go into heat early... Clearing his mind, he bent down to press a lasting kiss upon her brow before exiting the den, looking over his shoulder one last time as he smiled at her. His dear Wren, oh how he loved her so.

Trotting over to Crucifix he dipped his head, plopping down on the chilly earth in front of him. "Hey Cru, long time no see. How is Solstice?" He asked. He had heard nothing about the capture of Sibelle, the fight for her and the heavy feelings that rested between the two pack. His own neck and chest was still sore from his fight with Cat, but with her it had been a spar, not a fight or claim. It had been too long since he talked with him, at least a few season. He didn't even know that the man was a father! It really had been that long.

He needn't wait long before Bass's ghostly form moved white against the green foliage of his pack and stopped before him. He smiled at the Destruction boy, hearing the warm tones in Bass's greeting as he asked after Cru's pack. ?It has been too long, and we've had our ups and down? he shook his head with a sigh, recalling the moment Ky had banished Sibelle's head and fought down his grimace. ?My wife, and the mother of my kids got attacked and I had to fight for her freedom, its a horrible thing not knowing if she will be alright or not. How about you Bass, how have things been in Abaven? Hopefully a lot more quit then in Solstice? he said, fighting back the memory to put a friendly smile back in his tone and expression. ?How is Motif and Harmony doing?? he asked, knowing about both the sisters from Bass borrowing Orchid to train with Harmony and Crucifix boring Motif to aid in teaching warrior training. It seemed Bass's sister where as capable as he was, he smiled, thinking that that family must be an amazing team to watch in action.
