Escape

The tiny temptress was attempting to fly today.
Petite paws slapped against the ground as long limbs carried her slender form at near break neck speeds through the gorge she and Novaro had been living in since being reunited. Head was lowered, massive ears pinned to her skull, tail flying out behind her so her entire spine was aligned. She was trying to make herself as streamlined as possible, hoping to gain as much speed as possible. Her jaw was unhinged, tongue lolling out over her lower jaw as red eyes stared down the ledge before her. It was coming closer, the space between the ledge before her and the ledge a few feet beyond and below it was closing. All of a sudden she would coil her haunches, body dropping a bit before muscles released all the pent up energy and momentum and sent her upwards and outwards. Soaring. Flying. Momentary exhilaration. Cut short in a few seconds by the all too hard stone ground below her. Long limbs attempted to bend to absorb the impact but it really did nothing, they crumpled beneath her and she was sent head over tail. She summersaulted less then gracefully for a few meters before coming to a halt in a crumpled heap.
For a moment she would lay where gravity had deposited her, on her back with hips flipped to the side and forelimbs crossed on her chest while she stared at the sky. Had it always looked like that? She took another couple of minutes before she rolled fully onto her side, and then onto her belly before pushing herself into a seated position. Before her was a male, probably not much older then herself and lightly coloured with some neat butt spots. "Hey!" She exclaimed as she finally hopped to her paws, seemingly unfazed by the tumble she had taken. Long limbs would toss her towards, bounding towards him as the tiny green nymph came to a skidding halt before him. Red eyes flitted to and fro over his body, taking in each and every aspect of him. The butt spots were the best part? He wasn't exactly exciting coloured like her dear Mr. Red but still he was nice enough to look at.
