The white woman would take seat just before the falls. She was at the bottom rather than the top, the mist clinging but yet sliding in the strands of her hair. The falls would be frozen solid soon, and she would miss the crashing throughout the winter. She would let the soothing sounds of the stream running the rocks relax her mind.

She had met one of these northern wolves, but she was reluctant to meet another one. The one she had met was far from destructive, but she could not understand him; how would she be understand their ways?

She would let her thoughts float to Olumide, her lover that had thrown his life away to save her own. Because of her, he died. He protected her from the bear that had spotted her when she felt the curiosity to enter it's cave. She was glad that someone had loved her that much, even the cost tickled her. But it still hurt inside that he was no longer able to stand beside her.

Such things were in the past now, and they would no longer haunt her. Though she could never remember a time they truly "Haunted" her. She knew she just had to pick up and carry on.

She did not remember the last snow season, as she was only living as a pup during that time. She had taken a liking to the strong summer's heat, unaware of the gradual colder change. All she remembered about the winter season was coldness, ice and little food to eat. The next season would be a challenge for the huntress, having to work twice as hard to supply herself and others with prey. She didn't take a particular interest in challenges, but her own loyalty to the tribe was important. More important than her usual comforts.

A chilly breeze whiffed through her brown fur. She fluffed out the short pelt she had. How would the falls look during the snow season? In spring and summer the falls were always bright, lush with plenty of sunlight to go around. Would the landscape soon turn silent with white and grey?

With the thought of white on her mind, her matching hazel eyes spotted a stunning white creature seated before the waterfall. The other wolf seemed deeply in a state of relaxation of peace. Would she disturb her? For now, it was best to wait and keep a fair distance away.

The thought of the landscape turning silent and grey, that was a huge no-no in the makings. It would be odd for these northern wolves to come south for the winter. But certainly many would, she was sure of it. Funny thing, the south was supposed to be warmer, though maybe they weren't south enough or north enough. Oh well.

Though, Natane wasn't thinking of the winter or the northern wolves anymore. Well, maybe a little. She would only try to have this moment with her long lost lover, or so she thought. A familiar, yet unknown scent would fill her nose; only familiar because it wasn't a northern beast. But she would remain seated for a while longer.

Seeing as the femme hadn't made her way to the falls to greet Natane, the white woman would turn her neck around and eye her surroundings, not spotting her in sight. So she let out a low bark, demanding the other to come out but in no means to make them feel harmed. She would turn her head back to face the falls, and wait for them to come take a seat beside her.

Her usual bustling thoughts of foreign wolves seemed to have faded away. She tried to keep her mood positive, without her constant fear of the dangers those wolves could bring towards the tribe. Although she was curious, curiosity could lead to a violent future. For the moment, her mind was directed at the scenery, nature and landscapes surrounding her. Oh, it simply wasn't working. What was the point? She just couldn't take her mind off of it. Did she have some mad obsession with an unknown culture? Anything but!

A bark that might as well be an invitation startled her back into the present world. Grasping the chance to meet a tribe mate, she strolled over where the white female sat and she took a seat beside her.

"O ṣeun fun mi jẹ ki o da." She calmly thanked as she wriggled in her position, searching for a comfortable space. She soon relaxed her tense muscles, inhaling a long breath before letting the air slowly leave her nose. Relaxed she indeed was. If anything, she felt accepted for once. Too long had she spent her seasons alone and separated from the Tahtla.
