Can i lean on you?

Winter was right around the corner and it was making her on edge. Her bright green gaze would often flicker over the borders warily. Winter she hated, winter brought bad things, memories, sickness, lack of food source. She wished that season never existed. In the coming days of the pending winter the young girl could be found pacing the borders in distress. She couldn't focus, felt uneasy around others, far more than normal. She just couldn't get past her own haunting memories. She felt like she was being watched, couldn't sleep at night. Perhaps she should finally confess her fears, to finally speak about them. But could she bring herself to trust anyone? The more she thought of it the more she could say she did trust Crucifix and Orchid. Then again they were the only to wolves she had ever interacted with within the pack. For once she felt connected to at least another wolf. But she feared she'd end up losing them at a moments notice. Did she really want to confine in someone, trust them, build her relationship with others; only to risk losing them at any minute. To lose the one wolf she could finally trust would destroy her. She paused to look out over the northern border, the mid-day sun leading warmth in the crisp autumn breeze. Would she ever move on?
