The man watched with mild interest as the large mammals splashed about in the cove, their squeaking echoing across both the water and the sand. The turning of the season had driven the porpoises from the colder climate up north to the warmth of the cove? at least for now. They would be moving on before long, but for now the warmer water here was a veritable paradise and dolphins of all types seemed to frolic in the water. Istaqa leaned back, the soft sand under her paws shifting ever so slightly.
He kept some distance from the shore, his presences just barely on the radar of the aquatic mammals. Not that he was much of a threat anyways, still it felt almost wrong to intrude.

There was distancing splashing from the bay that pulled her closer. Sand squished between her toes as she moved along the beach, far enough from the water to go unnoticed by the frolicking sea mammals. A figure sat alone, his dark figure standing out against the pale sand. She would approach, her lips lifting in a friendly smile. "E kaasan." Words fell easily from her tongue, audits tipped forward, her lavender gaze resting on the male. The tribe was close, everyone knew of each other, but trying to remember each name and face was difficult. Her tail would sway back and forth, her posture relaxed as she stopped several feet away from him. Her haunches would recline, pressing into the warm sand, the splashing dolphins only background noise as her attention settled on the man before her.

A misty form approached and Istaqa recognized it as his aunt, younger child of his grandfather. His own parents didn?t exactly seem too keen on her but Istaqa had no qualms with the younger woman. She approached with a smile upon her face and the man managed a small one in return. " Ẹ Gwena." He spoke kindly, her name easily leaping off his tongue. Names were sorta his thing, he maybe didn?t speak with everyone but he wanted to make sure he could call them all by name when he needed too.
He turned his topaz gaze away again, only for a moment as he pondered the mammals in the water briefly. " Mo igba Iyanu bi ti won le wa ni ki dun gbogbo awọn akoko." He wondered aloud, not really looking for an answer. He didn?t often speak his ponderings aloud, preferring to think upon it in silence but he could never be sure how others felt about his silence.
