Friendship Bites

The sultry russet dame sat at the edge of the lack, staring at her reflection in the crystal clear water. She wanted a friend, a follower, someone besides the many she flirted with. Cyan eyes gleamed back at her, staring intently at her through the water. She was an alluring wolf for sure, her slender curvy body attracting many, but looks wasn't all that she had. She was smart, and loyal, and very cunning. Maybe that's why she was such a great leader.
A scowl crossed her muzzle. She needed to relax. Ebony striped tail flicked in annoyance, a sigh escaped her inky lips. Why couldn't she just have a friend to talk to instead of having a one night stand with them.

Wandering was what she did best and so wandering on is what she would do that fine morning. She had wandered from the northern reaches of the land to the eastern and central portions and now it would seem that she had started to travel west. The lands around her were crisp and cool. The slightly biting air nipping at her fur which kept her fairly warm in the late fall months. Soon it would be winter and she knew deep down that it was not until then she would find a pack to settle down in. The girl, despite her pride displayed for being a wolf of the Destine lineage, was insecure. She was terrified that others would not find her skills as a leader to be significant enough to follow her.
The dappled girl had found her way towards a fresh water source to quench her thirst when she saw a wolf who looked most peculiar. This wolf had strange markings on her crimson pelt. Aesire narrowed her eyes at the woman as she tried to wrap her head around who that girl was and why her patterns were so... unnatural. She contemplated clearing her throat but instead she just approached the water. Slowly, she leaned down to take a drink from the water. She would pay no attention to the other girl and would finish her drink before heading off to settle down by the shoreline. Aesire was the wolf who was supposed to lead the great Kingfall empire but those days have long since passed. Long live the queen.

A slender tri-colored female stepped beside the russet beauty, taking a sip of water and left. She was a little startled by the brief appearance of the slender wolf. Looking over her onyx banded shoulder, she spotted the she-wolf basking in the shade of a tree. Curious, she prodded over to the dame, not flirting for once as she noticed the hesitation in the femme's actions.
Her polite mask was pulled on, covering her true self as she smiled gently at the tri-colored dame. "Hello, I'm Rashana." she said sweetly, her tone happy and rid of flirtatious tones. "Who might you be?" she questioned the femme, sounding as polite as possible.

Her luck had seemingly turned. Aesire had not expected the woman to try and speak with her and therefore a pleasant surprise had brought itself forward to her. She turned to face the oddly colored girl. The woman was reddish in color with black lines all across her bodice in strange patterns. Aes would observe and take notes on her form and position in case things turned ugly. Aes was socially awkward herself but this woman seemed more like an extroverted personality type. When the woman asked who she was after giving the name Rashana, Aesire knew she was obligated to answer. "I'm Aesire." She greeted with a dip of her head in hello. Every single action she performed was thoroughly thought through and all of her actions were contained and controlled. She could not afford a slip up like she had when it came to Rainar.
She kept her form rigid and controlled, eyeing the girl in a curious and observatory way as she tried to understand what this other wolf was about. Her emerald eyes masking any emotional responses that might be spread through it in case this woman was not what she seemed. Perhaps this woman was a spy for her father who was out to kill her. Aesire did not know what to expect.
