Atka

With both her siblings gone somewhere and her parents seemingly estranged, the range was a lonely place for the young wolf Atka. She would be turning a year old only a season from now, and she was already very leggy with the awkwardness of adolescence, though the lines of her body and her muzzle spoke of elegance yet to come. To escape the constant monotony of the open range, always feeling so empty these days, the young girl had wandered into a neighboring land that always had things of interest to be found if you were willing to poke around for them. She'd managed to dig up a half dozen shiny metal pieces, flat and round with a weird knob sticking out the backs, all matching beneath the layers of rust and grime. She'd curled up to play with her find, nudging the pieces along the ground between her forepaws in a made-up game just to occupy her mind. A sigh huffed out, sending frost and dirt billowing from her gameboard, but otherwise she showed no emotion but concentration. She was used to being alone, after all.

The young pregnant she wolf still felt very lost, though she had Orchid and Othello there for her she still felt wrong about the way Soliloquy was taking everything. He'd left her to cope by herself, his own time being spent anywhere but with her. He would rub off on her, causing the girl to want to go on her own adventures with out him. She wouldn't make it very far though, her paws carrying her to a rather strange place that held more old human junk. They really did a bang up job of poisoning this area with their left overs. The range was a prime example and as she walked along and almost sliced open her paw a few times she'd come to realize that this too had been heavily influenced by the upright creatures of old.

Her attention would eventually be brought to the girl playing by herself, Isolde's ears would perk as she took in her scent. Another of Scorpion's minions? Her encounter with Othello had gone well, she decided that maybe this would too. The women who hung around the Destruction boys seemed so much more approachable than the men themselves. She'd seen the girl on occasion when she was out and about, but she'd never even tried to approach her until now. Head tilted with curiosity she'd approach the young she wolf. "Hello.." She'd call as her form stopped a comfortable distance away. "I'm Isolde, I've seen you around before, I"m sorry I've never said hello." Would she need to go on and tell her about her relationship with Soliloquy before she was recognized? Isolde was unsure that the pale girl would even speak with her.

There was movement, and the sound of pawsteps, but Atka didn't react to them, engrossed in her game. She noticed them, specifically made note of them, but simply chose to ignore them. It was finally a voice that made her reluctantly drag her attention from the activity to peer up at the speaker. She stared unblinkingly at the woman there for a moment before speaking gravely. "I know you," she said. The reddish-brown coat with it's spots was not unfamiliar to her, not with the open spaces of the range making it difficult to frequent the same areas and remain hidden. She cocked her small head at the older female. "I have seen you with my uncle, Soliloquy." She refrained from adding that while the stranger had not said hello before now, neither had Atka made any attempt to approach her. It would be, after all, rude to correct her elder.

She wouldn't gain the girl's attention until she spoke up, even still she would be thankful for the interaction. Isolde would return to stare as silence settled over them for a moment, eventually the pale girl would bring to light she really did know the elder she wolf. She seemed slightly curious as she tilted her head and added that she'd noticed her with Soliloquy. Isolde found herself nodding to confirm, yep that was the one. Though more recently she found herself cursing his name instead of praising it as she once had. She'd also take the clue that this was a child of Scorpion. "What are you doing out here?" She'd ask with a curiosity in her voice, she had been quite intent on her things before Isolde had showed up. "Do you have a name?" She'd cling to the social interaction, she wasn't ready to go back her dreary reality.
