Life. Soliloquy's was preparing to take a rather drastic turn. He wasn't entirely sure what to do with his for remaining couple of months without any responsibilities, all he knew was that somehow he wanted to live it. Scorpion's life had never been completely over, in fact though he had been busier Soliloquy had been able to see his brother's life hadn't been completely taken over by the little problems, his new minions. To be fair though, Scorpion was far more suave and certainly seemed to have a far better handle on most things than Soliloquy believed he ever would have.
Was Soliloquy Destruction worried about becoming a parent? Most certainly. It wasn't just the selfish thoughts that flooded his mind, caused him to dread this arrivals but the idea of being responsible for the damned things troubled him too. He didn't even want them in the first place, he had never been good with kids so how on earth could anyone expect him to sufficiently care for and be a good father to the things? Of course here the selfish thoughts would start again, searching for distractions rather than confiding in Isolde who very likely had similar fears of her own.
And so that was how the man found himself now wandering frequently. He didn't travel exceptionally far though he was more sparse than an expecting father ought to be, he should have been back at the Range caring for Isolde and yet here he was fleeing that drama and seriousness and looking instead for some fun. Pretend for now that he didn't have simply two months left of his bachelor lifestyle and yet rushing now to continue with it whilst he still could.
She no longer desired a high title or to simply command. Perhaps Desireé wasn't suited to the task, and well, it was just much more relaxing withought the responsibility of truly caring of everyone's well
being. The purple nymph would leave Viridiana for the day, deciding to take a stroll upon the beach that she had grown fairly comfortable with. Becoming familiar with the surroundings and taking a personal liking to it. The purple nymph was in heat, and would always take extra caution to those around her. Small paws would kiss the golden grains beneath her, the winds playing against her lilac curls. Her eyes would hungrily look around her, before falling upon another figure. She would simply gaze at him for a moment, before it clicked that she had met him a few times before. A soft smile would trace her lips, deciding to venture over. She hadn't seen any of the old Covari members since her departure, and it was strange to be face to face with one once again. " I never thought i'd be seeing you again, Destruction" A sweet, alluring coo slipping her lips. She would keep a respectable distance away, still cautious on how he'd react to her. What had he been doing for these past few months?
A stranger was what Soliloquy truly sought. Something fun and exciting to bring some fun into his life whilst he was still a free man. It was an over exaggeration of course, the way he reacted one would perhaps almost assume that he was dying not simply about to become a parent, something many wolves craved. Let them have their happy families, he wanted no-strings-attached fun.
Instead however when the strong and sweet scent of another female hit his nose it would be tainted by familiarity. She was a beautiful and exquisite woman of course though a taken one and his former Queen to top it all off. It had been a while though her face was still fresh within the boy's mind. He had never really dared to see her as anything beyond a Queen though whether it was that they were standing here as equals, that he was craving fun or that her heat scent was invading his mind there was certainly something different about her now. Such thoughts would be pushed aside though for now. This wasn't new or exciting, nor quite was it capable of being no-strings-attached. This was Desireé.
"It has been a long time." He would respond. Only now would he recall how she and her red mate had suddenly fled the lands, leaving the pack behind them. It had been a move he could never agree with and yet he wouldn't question her upon that matter now. He sought happier distractions rather than drama at the moment.
The purple nymph would analyse him closely, though as she did he looked rather lost, his mind stuck in a track of thought perhaps? She couldn't be quite sure, and well she was in no place to inquire. After all, she was no longer his queen. Though, even when she was, Desireé never saw herself more superior then another, afterall it was mainly Viridiana that had the spotlight, Desireé was merely her wife. A smile would kiss her lips once more, wishing she had gotten to know more of the Covari members. Vi seemed to like a few of the destructions, especially Scorpion. " So... how have you been spending your time?" Her voice just above a whisper, the petite nymph would take a step closer to the man, perhaps more then keeping respectable boundaries some would say. Her long lashes would pat gently together, her tilting up slightly to look him within his golden hues. Wasn't this was she and Viridiana had been talking about? To have more children? and well, it was pretty much impossible for them to have some together. But how was she supposed to say to Sol what she was looking for?
To be fair in some ways Desireé was practically a stranger to him. He knew her by name and appearance though other than the fact that she once had been and presumably still was Viridiana's wife there was little else that he could have really told anyone about her. Never before today had he spoken to her alone and it was still surprising that he had the chance to do so now.
There was little for them to talk about really, they didn't know each other well enough to really be interested in what the other had been up to in the time after Covari. All Soliloquy really cared to know is why they'd cleared off and where the hell they'd gone. He had held those questions in his mind for quite some time, irritated that just as life was showing some promise for them it had all been snatched away before anything interesting had happened. Now there was little else to think about however but how close Desireé stood to him now and how enticing that scent was.
Somewhere deep within his mind a thought told him that to dare to go any further was ridiculous but natural instincts and desires and a cunning thought that if anything did happen chances were he wouldn't see Desireé again allowed him to perhaps stupidly banish any sense lingering within that brain of his. He wouldn't jump right in yet though, testing the waters as she did, taking a small step of his own closer to the woman. Oh they could certainly touch now, temptingly close to one and other.
The small talk would continue, though Soliloquy didn't care to divulge much of his life, certainly not the dramatic turn it had suddenly taken but he had gone away to forget about all of that. The purple woman had a different conversation starter in mind, such a conversation perhaps too would bring up facts he cared not to think about but then words were not needed for such a game, both already surely had a sense of what the other wanted.
"You don't really care about that." He stated bluntly. He suspected she hadn't held a single thought of him in her mind since the day she had left Covari but perhaps now he would find a way to plant himself firmly in her memory. There was a far more important question in relation to that that she should have asked instead; "How would you like to spend your time now?"
The purple nymph would not flinch as he neared closer, and would instead welcome the close proximities. She really didn't know much about him, as she was sure it worked both ways. Had he moved on? Gotten a family? Lived life alone? As Covari quickly dispersed everyone had no choice but to move on, and well- there was still a pit of guilt that Desireé could never just get rid of. Sol was right though, she really didn't care about what he had been doing in his spare time, that was his business and his business alone. By know though, she could sense he was wishing to do much more then just 'chitchat' which they really weren't doing very plenty of anyway. And well, how could she resist? Viridiana wouldn't blame her, and well Desireé wished to expand. " I think you know exactly how we should be spending our time." Her voice remained crisp and husked, before nearing closer to him, attempting to brush herself firmly against his chest. She knew after this they'd most likely never meet again, and well.. she was pretty certain neither of them would feel heartbroken about it. " Take me."
As well as never having spoken to Desireé alone, Soliloquy had never thought that the pair of them would end up in a situation quite like this one handed to them now. He wouldn't bother to second guess it though, he wanted fun and distractions and here was someone handing those very things to him now, there was no hard work needed at all she wanted this just as much as he did if not more, she had been the one to start it after all. She would move closer now, playing along with his words with ease. Of course he knew what she wanted and he'd waste no more time. Her little invitation was not needed, though he would listen all the same and take those words as his cue, moving himself into position and doing as she wished.
He would waste no time in accepting the invitation that she would simply request, and she would allow him just this once to claim her today. She had her own plans of course, this little meeting wasn't simply for pleasure, she wished to raise her children with a purpose. To be strong, and well she was sure Sol simply took it for a distraction, nothing more. They wouldn't meet again after this, or at least not deliberately as Desireé would hope. she was sure they'd go back their separate ways as though this had never happened. She would return to Vi, and she was sure someone was waiting for him. Would desiree go back to the Islands? or stay on the lands. For now she wasn't certain. Though she was happy to travel anywhere with her family.The silence would fall between them, until finally, he would grant her wish.
