The tall boy would once again wander away from the place he called home, it didn't seem like anyone cared that he disappeared for long amounts of time, and he always made a point to return. He knew very well that he couldn't survive very well on his own, his stomach had been empty for far too long to forget his experiences out on his own. Still, Bacchus was a curious pup and to remain within Regium for very long would have liked to be the death of him. There was a delicate balance he was learning. His wandering paws would bring him now to a rather long black beach. The sight would stop him as he took in this new place, and eagerness to explore it would urge him onward onto the midnight sands. His elegant form would stand out against the deep backdrop as large paws sunk into the substrate. The cold would scarcely cause him to blink as the boy found his way to the water's edge, the waves coming up to kiss his mismatched toes. He would grin slightly, already enjoying this place. ""

The girl was annoyed, angry even. Once more one of her parents had slipped away and her mother acted as though nothing had happened. They had left him behind, Ravenna just knew it. They had turned and walked away from the only life she had known, leaving her father behind and it didn’t sit well with the cherry girl at all! She wanted to go back to the forest, wanted to see her daddy again, and so Ravenna would run away. Though now that she was out here she was beginning to understand that it had been a stupid decision.  Still she refused to return with her tail between her legs, she wanted to punish her mother for leaving her father behind. Besides of which, she couldn't go back now even if she wanted to… the poor child was hopelessly lost. Already she knew that she would need shelter of some sort, she had tried in vain to find the trail back the way she had come and she knew that sooner or later it would turn dark… she hoped later. As she had approached the cove, winds coming from off the water her pale gaze had landed upon the towering black spires. Pushing her small form up next to one she huddled in one of the natural alcoves, the water firmly to her back the wind had been cut significantly. A triumphant grin pulled across her face, if only her mother could see her now! She could make out here on her own! Another form moved across her vision and immediately her grin turned to a frown, the fur along her spine bristled and the girl rose to her paws. Despite the fact she could now clearly see the boy, and could identify him as younger than even she was it didn’t sit well with the princess. This was her spot! A puppy growl rumbled within her.    "Burn Baby Burn"

The bright eyed boy would watch as the waves pulled back out after soaking his front paws, then he would feel the cold a bit more readily. Shaking off the shiver that ran down his dark spine Bacchus would retreat from the water, skipping back and turning to walk further down the beach. He almost didn't hear her over the sound of the wind and the ocean, but he'd catch the faint sound of a growl. More perplexed than threatened, Bacchus would peek at the issuer. Mismatched ears would stand at attentions as he found himself close enough to inspect her, but far enough away that he'd have a chance at escape if she pounced. She didn't look much older than himself, and was hardly bigger than him either. Tipping his head and staring at her inquisitively he would ask, "Ma'am, did you just.. growl at me?" she sure looked like she'd done just that, standing there with her hackles bristling. What had he done to deserve this kind of treatment? ""

He stared, just stood there and stared at her. A twinge of irritation at his apparent lack of caring about her somewhat more aggressive stance; she had hoped to appear more of a threat. Not that she really posed one, as much as she was acting defensive with him wandering so close to her new hiding spot she had no real intention of doing anything about it. An ear flicked as he addressed her, forcing down the urge to smile at the ma’am and instead keeping her expression hard. In truth she looked much more like a child pouting than anything else. "Yes I did." She said nothing else, standing her ground.    "Burn Baby Burn"

His tail would flick irritably as the girl stood there, quite upset with him for doing completely nothing. She would flick an ear towards him at his words, but she would not change her stance. He would shake his head, "What did I do to you?" The boy would ask as he started pacing, unsure of what she might do if he went back to his exploring. He just wanted to enjoy the beach, but she was making it more difficult than it should have been. He'd narrow his ruby gaze, never letting his eyes leave her just in case she did decide to jump at him. ""
