Determination filled his every pawstep as the fallen prince wandered around with a cause to find a new home after his old one was taken from him by force. His emerald green eyes fell into focus on the willow trees that surrounded him as he walked around the forest, the floor still wet from melting snow. Damon took a deep breathe, looking for something or anything to show signs of other wolves. Every once in a while he would run into periods of isolation in which he met no wolves, saw no wolves, conversed with no wolves and they would drive him insane. He was a sociable man and the silence deafened him.

The tawny man's fur blew slightly in it's longish state. He felt the breeze as a warm sign of spring. The winter had not been kind to him but he had survived and now the small prey were returning. These facts made him smile as he attempted to forget about his falling out with his brothers and the betrayal of his uncle to the Crown of the Brotherhood. "O patrui die reddes." The words came softly out of his maw in the tone of the ancient language.

Long live the king.

The ghost was wandering again, having lost track of her brother. Where had he gotten to now? Her broad paws struck the ground with frightening silence, a complete lack of sound following in her wake. A form could be seen through the willow bows, with a pelt of the same hues as the trees themselves. Glacier orbs peered through the cool branches, watching the wolf as he traipsed through the flora. He was a curious little wolf, mumbling to himself in foreign tongues. Her passage was silent as she trailed after him, following his movements closely. He couldn't know she was following, she was upwind of him and moving with her eerie brand of silence.

The scarred femme was curious to see what he would do, skulking through the willows like he was. Would he get angry and attack something? Or just lay down and wallow in misery? Emotions weren't her strong suit, leaving her with a cold sense of intrigue. Her only remaining audit twitched to capture the sounds of his mindless ambling, while she watched him boredly. He really wasn't that much fun. With a quiet sigh, she decided she might as well stop stalking him.

The twig was rather conveniently underfoot, and when she stepped on it it crackled nicely. With that, she simply kept following behind him, hidden amid all of the willow boughs. He would notice her soon enough, but she wasn't dumb enough to test his friendliness.

Dae was certainly content with moving on, not feeling like he was brooding at all. His eyes focused on the world around him as the curious wolf pushed on through the willows. He had thought he was alone given the lack of scent and sound given off around him but that was when he heard a twig snap. His head snapped towards the direction that the giveaway sign had come from only to see the thickness of the trees behind him. Curiosity piqued his interest often enough for him to follow the direction that the noise had come from only for him to come face to face with another wolf who had been lurking around the area. "Hello!" A friendly and warm tone graced the air as he spoke in low baritone voices to greet the woman in strange hues before him.

Quickly Dae realized he had not given a name which, where he was from, was a large sign of disrespect that he simply could not have. He would have to remedy the situation in fast in case she knew of the customs in the Brotherhood. "Cognatio heir Damon Zamora at your service." The young man added in a dip of the head to top off his greeting overall. A king smile flushed his face as he awaited her eager response, with the hopes that he too would receive a name.

The male was quick to seek her out, cranium snapping upward to focus a thoroughly saturated emerald gaze upon the area in which she lurked. Well done, for a wolf she knew nothing of. Not many were that acute, but he seemed capable. He pushed through the foliage, plodding along until he came face to face with her. A neutral expression remained upon her features, though she might have come off as cold. Not that she cared. He greeted her in the common tongue of these lands, a kind, warm vocalization. She blinked at him, obsidian audit flickering. Shit. Was she going to actually have to try and use words? An internal groan arose at that possibility. She didn't like talking, it was her least favourite thing to do. A low grunt was all she offered in greeting. It was better than she usually did.

It wasn't long before he spit out a long, convoluted title. Well, good for him. She really didn't give a damn what kind of fancy names and royalty he was related to, or whatever that long string of crap was. Her brows drew closer to her eyes, illustrating some of this feeling. Honestly, why did everyone insist on being so wodry and friendly? It didn't make a difference to her, not in the least. The ghost watched him some more, eyeing him warily. Her gaze was hard and icy, nothing unusual. The silence might have been tense and awkward for most, but that kind of stuff didn't really occur to her. The ghost blinked at him, expression falling back into its former, neutral impassiveness. He didn't look to be a bad sort. Nice, even. "Dyani." She finally muttered in reply. Her voice was always hoarse sounding, gravelly with disuse. One could easily mistake it for male, as with the rest of her physique. She continued to stare him down, paying no heed to what might be common decency.

She seemed grumpy and hesitant but his greetings seemed to allow for some leniency in her behavior as she gave a one word name. He nodded as he spoke, nodding was something that he did often. "It is nice to meet you Dyani. What brings you out here on this lovely spring  day?" The boy's smile held up as he looked to the woman he was socializing with. The young man kept his nose peeled for prey scents because he, as a loner, could not afford to let prey go by, even if he was talking to a wolf. Winter had been harsh on him and he needed to regain his strength and find himself a pack until he could fight for or claim his own.

Dae had his own plans in mind, big plans. His eyes focused on the woman, analyzing her to determine if she was a threat though he quickly determined that while she seemed antisocial, she would not attack unless provoked. He only hoped these statements were true because he did not care for needless fighting. He looked with a tilt of his head at her as he awaited a response from the less then eager woman. He was secretly preparing himself for no answer.

The male was quite a character, she decided. Even though she was far from interested in talk, he still offered queries and pleasantry. Determined, he was. He asked her what business brought her here. A flick of her ebony tail was the first response she offered, pallid gaze trailing away from him. What business was it of his that he must know why she wanted to be here? Maybe she just liked the willows. What did he care anyway? Males never cared. Except for Ullr, he was special. Her broad shoulders rose and fell in a shrug, heavy and apathetic. When her cerulean orbs locked on the male again, her intense stare drank in every facet of the male's appearance. He was a little scrawny, the winter having taken it's toll. What kind of.. whatever he was, some kind of big shit in his home- couldn't keep himself fed and strong in the winter?

His probing gaze had become quizzical, and she wondered what he was so interested in. She held his eyes, knowing that she was a very unnerving wolf to have a staring contest with. More often than not she won these, simply because that was how she was. She made others uncomfortable, and they looked away quickly. The silent ones always scared them.

OOC: Aw man I'm soooooooo sorry this took forever, Abby stole all my muse and Dyani has always been finicky with posts.
