Oh hey, I wasn't listening

He'd only really seen the brats like once since they'd been born, all of them had been asleep at the time so he'd thought them rather adorable. Of course he had no idea what his brother was going through trying to raise the little hellions. Mercy and Revenge both had been quiet and behaved. He'd only just started leaving his own den as the recovery of his foot slowly became obvious. He was no longer in any danger of death.
Still rather lazy though he'd keep himself within the den, not feeling much need to remove himself as his brother's bark would awaken him. Groaning the tall man would make his way from the den, long limbs stretching as he emerged to look at Soliloquy. His brother seemed a bit ragged from the last time he'd seen him. Obviously he needed to get more sleep. "You look like shit." He would offer directly, golden eyes observing the new father.

He'd find himself smirking at his brother's retort, the sarcasm dripped from his lips as he said it. Scorpion would refrain from making any statements just yet, but he did look mighty pleased with himself. He could only guess by his appearance how fatherhood was treating him, though the words would paint a pretty clear picture as he started throwing accusations around. He'd push his brows together in a scowl, but the amused look would keep on his features. Soliloquy was feeling incredibly fond of his children right at that moment.
The elder of the two brothers would refrain from laughing, knowing that he wouldn't help the situation any. Soliloquy was frustrated and very much needed to vent and blame someone, and might as well have been the older brother than one of the children or Isolde. "Sorry." He'd finally offer with a shrug. "I'll keep 'em for a day for you or something to make up, hmm?" If Isolde allowed him to.. though with how Sol looked he wondered if he wouldn't end up killing one of them.

Of course Scorpion had never intended on giving Soliloquy any kind of false information, he only gave him the experience he had gone through. Soliloquy hadn't been incredibly young when Scorpion had taken him under his wing, but he had never been particularly hard to stand. Scorpion felt like he actually got along with his younger brother quite well. Obviously he'd done something right. The fruit of his loins seemed much different though, as none of them stayed at his side. Atka had even gone her own way. Not that Scorpion found himself complaining though, the only effects he would come to regret were Othello's obvious attachments to them.
He wouldn't lose his grin as Sol's sarcasm became evident in every word. Scorpion didn't have much sympathy for the boy. He could have left the girl for good if they were causing him that much grief. He supposed that maybe he should have acted hurt at the comment about his children, he'd shrug the words off as he was warned to keep an extra special close eye on Shakespeare. Scorpion would give a little chuckle as he would nod. "Alright, I'll make sure that one's returned to you." Giving another chuckle before continuing, "When do you want it?" Half ignoring the emotions boiling in his brother's chest.
