Peas In A Pod
The early bird had caught the worm, so to speak, that morning. After waking up before the sun rose to a sparkling winter wonderland, Odette had climbed the branches of her trees to reach the yummy morsels at the top. She had found a bird whose plump belly prevented it from leaving its roost and another one whose wing had broken the previous night. She walked back to the waterfall, listening to the roar of the water as it descended into its large and cold pool. Red and blue eyes shimmered with happiness as she turned her head to look at the rest of her home. Such was the life of a happy wolf.
In no time at all, she felt the presence of another outside her borders. Tail began to wag as she caught the scent of a visitor near the first line of trees. She picked up her pace from a slow walk to a slightly faster jog, hoping that it was a friend instead of a foe. Once she broke through the last line of trees, she recognized the familiar dark gray coat. Bicolored gaze met those of the Armada woman and she couldn't help but grin. "Welcome to my home, Athena Armada. What brings you here today?"
