She sought out Meinx. She had only met the woman a time or two, but she wanted to change that. Her mother had seen something in the woman, had enough trust in her to place her amongst the top tiers as soon as the pack had formed. It was on the horizon that one day she would rule this pack, and would hopefully still have Meinx to turn to. But in order to do so, she needed to get to know the woman better, she wanted to befriend her. Nostrils quivered as she sought to pick up the womans scent and when she did, follow it diligently. Meinx. She would call out in greeting, hoping that the woman was within earshot to make her search a little easier. Ears swiveled in an attempt to pick up the faintest of noises. Her crown would lift high, verdant gaze searching the moor for the chocolate woman. WORDS HERE

                                   

The beta had been strolling the Arcanum borders, the silence engulfing her as it did most mornings. It was a rather boring duty, but it had to be done in order to keep their home secure. As she patrolled the whole area once, the woman would stop in her tracks, looking out into the distance, debating whether to go out for the day looking for new members or to simply find something to interest her. [which is unlikely.] Though, before she could debate any further a soft call would aim towards her. Meinx would pause momentarily, stiffening in place before relaxing a moment after. She was familiar and one the beta had grown fond of within Arcanum, even if they had only met once or twice. She had always respected cat, and the adravendi believed they both shared similar qualities, though perhaps Basanti will bring something new to the tables. Her attention would remain on Basanti, though no smile would kiss her lips [naturally]. " Basanti" She would greet, before making her way over to inspect the girl further. Much had changed, she soon noticed. " You've grown, perhaps in the future i should make more of an effort to see you more." It was true, Meinx had been slacking with socialising, but when it came to cataleya's family she was always willing to put in the little bit of effort required.

She found the woman near the border, her own name rolling off the womans lips in greeting. She had begun to take notice that Meinx rarely ever showed any emotion, so it was not unusual to see no smile grace her lips. They would meet half way, allowing the darker girl to stop in her tracks, a small smile lifting the corner of her lips. Meinx would comment that she had grown, though she paid little attention to her ow body, her verdant gaze would land on the betas nose, or lack thereof. It seems Im not the only one changing. She would say dryly. She couldn't blame the beta for not seeing her more often, they both had their own lives, and besides the heiress had done little socializing at all, so they both could be blamed. Haunches would recline comfortably. Mother keeps us busy. She would smirk. It was all too true, if her mother wasnt planning someones downfall, she was forcing the pack to train. Dark ears tipped forward, training on the beta. They had only chatted a few times, perhaps with time small talk would become easier, but until then, she found herself short on words. WORDS HERE
