He would cast he gaze to the children as Cataleya set off to find her perfect clearing for this little tournament. He would remain seated outside their den, allowing her to go off and do her own thing for a while. That is until she howled. Immediatly he would rouse himself, turning his gaze to his children and barking, a simple command. Come. With that he would set off, long limbs moving lazily so the children could keep up as he approched Cataleya. A clearing... Would it be big enough? Arcanum was swiftly growing but how many would attend? Was Imperium even that large? He didn't speak these questions as he came to his wife's right, forever the silent sentinel behind her should she need him even his is mental break had left him all but mute. He would fight if Cataleya wished him to. If not then he would make sure the children played nice. Or maybe just crush the insolent little brats Valentine called children if they ever spoke out of turn towards his children again. Only time would tell...

He was relaxing, enjoying the simplicity of hanging out outside the den when his mother would depart without a word. For a time he would watch her leave, staring after her even long past when her form had disappeared from view but still he would remain silent. He did not turn to his sister to ask her opinion nor his father instead he would simply watch, ever attentive and ever calculating. He had grown much in the spring, the once pudgy puppy slowly beginning to come into his own. His once long and gangly limbs were stronger now, more thanks to practice then thanks to training of any sort, and he was able to keep up better rather then tottering around like a newborn fawn. But still he prefered laying, keeping his body closer to the ground so he was more at his sister's eye height. But as his dad barked at his sister and him, a command to follow, the giant of a child would slowly unfurl his long limbs and pick himself up. Already his head was at his father's shoulder but much like his father he prefered to carry his head down, eyes sweeping his surroundings as bi colored eyes locked Viola in his gaze. "Think mom will have us fight the other kids?" Aster would ask, for once emotion sweeping across his features as glee split his lips in a wolffish grin. He wanted to fight, just not with his sister or mother. He wanted to protect them not hurt them. They would arrive to find their mother alone and slowly he would slip up beside her before dropping to the ground, laying his with hips balanced beneath him so it would be easy to spring up if needed but it kept him lower then his parents.

She would follow Cataleya to the tournament that she briefly announced, not enthusiastic in the least. Though, there was no doubt that things may turn out fun. She would walk in silence, feeling no need to make small conversation to any of the Arcanum members. Was Imperium as big of a threat like Arcanum? They had a growing reputation to with hold, and she was sure Cataleya's son would do well to aid it. She would look around the area in utter boredom, as if expecting something grand to happen. Was their going to be a feast so they could atleast eat? Meinx would stay behind cat and kylar, waiting for the Imperium king and his members to show. How big was this pack, was there any news they needed to discuss before the tournament begun?
Meinx has no nose and heavy scarring on the top of the muzzle. Some tables may not show this.

Mercy tried to stick close with the rest of the pack when the call was made, but her paws were itching to race ahead of them. Elongated tail swung behind her in excitement, her muscles coiling as she prepared for this. She wanted to fight everyone, that's how excited she was! Finally she couldn't hold back anymore and sprung a few paces ahead, eying the ones who gathered there already. There was obviously no members from her pack, they were all behind her like a bunch of slow pokes. There were pups there, which made her brow raise. There was no way in hell that she was going to fight a pup, no way! Did Valentine bring his pups? She couldn't remember suddenly, her mind reeling in excitement. She wanted to fight someone big and strong, like the alpha herself! But she didn't think that that would be allowed. Nodding her head to the woman with eye spots, assuming that was Valentine's mother, she made her way to the opposite side that they sat and practically wiggled in place. She just wanted to get to the good stuff already, and hoped that they wouldn't talk politics for long.
Mercy likes to swear and bite, and she can be unpredictable. She's not always nice, and is quick to jump into a fight. Thread at your own risk.
Mercy has a visible scar from her shoulders down to the middle of her back, in a v like shape. Not all of her art shows this.

The boy's long legs would carry him easily enough behind his eager sister. She couldn't wait for the rest of the pack, but she just had to go running ahead. Not that he couldn't say he didn't expect just that. With out much convincing the pale wolf followed after her, his own feet picking up a quickness as he didn't wish to fall too far behind her. He followed as a healer, he'd still not received any real fight training aside from some basic defensive moves his sister had shown him. Hopefully Valentine didn't expect him to get into battle today. He was quite content helping Ellis clean up afterwards. He knew not the wolves already gathered, obviously members of Arcanum, keeping his head down the tall Destruction would sit behind his sister, a silent statue of encouragement. Mercy could do anything in his mind, and he would help her win the whole tournament today.

With pack in tow, Valen made his way towards the plains. He was excited about today. It was a chance to strengthen and mold an alliance that Alacritia had never seen before. How many packs could boast such a bond with their allies? How many drilled together like they were about to do today? He'd even squeezed in a couple extra lessons with the kids so they could follow along with the fights. This would be as good a learning experience as any. Reaching the small gathering, Valentine made a beeline for his mother. He had two goals today: spar Kylar and spar Cataleya. Winning the tournament of course was another goal, and he was very confident in the abilities of his fighters, but mostly he just wanted the opportunity to put a pair of admirable people into the dirt and not get in trouble for it because hey, it was a spar. "Mother, Kylar," he dipped his head in a greeting to the alpha pair before allowing his eyes to drift to the massive boy (Aster). "And who is this?" He looked like a mini (HA!) version of Kylar, so there was no doubt as to who his parents were. Still listening for a reply, Valentine continued to drift towards Cataleya's left, seeking to settle there and impatiently await the arrival of the others. |
NOTE: Valentine has a female striped skunk companion named Lefty. Unless stated otherwise assume she's present.
