Shiki was a bright lad, and so she would leave him to be for now. He was old enough to know to stay close to home, and how to be safe. That allowed her to feel a little more free to wander through the East. She was alive, free. Her wanderlust feeling a bit at ease just by taking this short little trip away from home. With spring came the warm seasons, and with with the warmth came the rain she craved. The storms, so wild and beautiful. Thunder crashed overheard, lightning cracking in the sky, and she was just as happy as could be, calling and howling along with the symphony in the sky. To her there was no more beautiful sort of weather, as dangerous as it could be.

Paws were light, a grin upon Pamela's face as she raced along one of the flowing rivers upon the delta. She would throw back her head, another howl tearing joyously from her lips. Freedom. True freedom and happiness. Legs pumping, lungs working, heart pounding... this was life! She would slow, nearly sliding in the mud, as her laughter filled the air. Honestly she looked more like a child than a wolf who was nearing her fourth year now. Tail would wag behind her as bi-colored eyes of red and blue scanned the terra through the rain, tongue lolling out of her mouth. Oh if only her siblings were here! They could play and dance in the rain, let it all gooooo!

It hadn't been that long since he left the borders, all he could remembered was that young girls face boring through him. Vereux hurt on the inside when he finally sank into the feeling that he was never going to see his children again, his past mate. Athena probably didn't want him anymore, she had amalia after all. His children didn't need him, besides he was a horrible father for letting himself get kidnapped in the first place. That, however, didn't make it hurt any less. Yet, on the outside he remained calm, not a single tear. He was happy though, he was happy they were okay. Though he knew nothing of what happened, he didn't even know if any of the same packs were around the world he knew any of it. Though it was obvious Regium was not around, he sighed mildly looking up from the tree line. The small streams spreading out made him lower his head as his single eye spotted a woman running through them. His tail flicked mildly, the injured male was still covered in the scent of herbs from Arian treating him. Hungry as well, his stomach growled, surviving on his own wasn't something he enjoyed. Yet there was something about seeing that blue woman.....she looked oddly familiar?

His right ear would flick, the man stayed still though, his head pivoting off to the side to look at the tree's for a moment. His posture looked gross to him, but he wasn't sure that a loner would even care. His emerald eye returned to the girl, stepping out from the treeline he reached the end of the streams letting his paws linger there. His tail wiggled slightly, she indeed did look like that man who used to be with his sister. Gods, he had enough of family, he didn't even care for his last name anymore. It was like he just, wanted to start a new even though it hurt so much. He raised his head towards her.

“Seems great to be able to let go doesn't it?” he raised an eyebrow towards her standing tall. He wheezed heaving his chest and ignoring the piercing pain in his body. It was the fact that, he was free. It had been some time since he had been free, and a sense of worry already filled him. Yet Vereux was okay, he didn't mind wherever he ended up. He'd return to the place he was born and hopefully find something for himself there. She could snap at him, there was a number of things the loner could do, but he just had to see.

The female would flick her ears, looking around to the male who suddenly spoke. She could not see his expression, but she could hear the wheezing in his breath. That was the only difference between his speech and that of another. The blue and black female would let her tail slow, falling still as she gazed upon him. Something seemed to be wrong with him... A sense of pain. The female would frown some. The rain masked his scent, the possible scent of wounds, and how he stood would suggest that he was either hiding his pain, or trying to, or was not as bad as the wheezing might suggest.

Deciding she would play it safe Pamela would speak gently, her voice kind. “Aye, it truly does.” Pamela would let the rain fall around her, filling her senses with the wondrous scents of freshness and life. “Would you care to join me? The rain is better enjoyed in company.” Her words were kind, a gentle smile crossing her maw. She would be kind to strangers until they showed her that they couldn’t be trusted -- such was her way. From that point on she would handle them as needed.

The male would be glad for her attitude; he wasn't in any condition to fight. He was just a young starving man, a shell of what he once was forced to move on without another say. Gently the one eyed man would step forward, softly which each step as he went to stand at her side. His skinny frame making him tempted to lean against her, but that would be everything like a rude male. Vereux shut his eye, letting the rain hit his fur and soak it, it felt rather nice against his healing wounds. Though, he was not out of the woods yet, his stomach would notify him of his condition letting out a ghostly growl. He would let out a puff of air from his nose letting little rain drops fall away. It was too wet for him to hunt, everything was under ground or hiding. Tonight would be another one without food, something he had grown far too used to.

“Sometimes, I get afraid of company.” Vereux would offer a small smile to the girl. Letting a soft sigh escape him, though when he noted her appearance a name came to his head. “Are you related to Quelt by any chance?” he would inquire a little curiously. The last thing he needed was past memories but he was jumping at the chance for someone who might knew someone he knew. As complicated as that sounded, his depression implored that.

There was a small sound, something that might have been the growl of the male’s stomach, or the sound of some creature foolish enough to be out and about in the rain. The female would tilt her head slightly to the side as he said sometimes he was afraid of company. “Perhaps it can be scary sometimes. Though I promise you I mean you no harm at all.” The slate female would blink some with confusion as he would ask a question that caught her offguard. So this man knew Quelt? She must have looked quite similiar to her brother than, huh? It reminded her for a moment that she couldn’t see even her own reflection, but she would push that feeling down.

“I am related to Quelt, actually. He’s my brother.” The female would lift her head, trying to search for his face. Not an easy task due to her disorder, though she was doing her best to focus on him. “My name is Pamela Arrow, by the way. How is that you came to know my brother, if I may ask?”
