She was tired of being weak. Even though she could have easily been taught how to hunt and catch her own food, she was too vain to admit to a stranger. So, she kept up the charade of being "in the neighborhood" every morning when she came to Abaven. She would meet Bass before the babies woke up and enjoyed some quality BFF time with him before she moved on. Slowly, but surely, her curvaceous form was coming back and the bones were not as obvious as they once were. She hoped that they would be perfect before she lay with another man. To have them get off on her as an anorexic made her sick.

Her golden-dipped front paws led her towards another part of the East, unclaimed by any pack lands. She had gotten tired of being at Wolfpaw Lake, tired of the loneliness, and tired of not getting doted on like she had before she lost Covari's safety. Slowly, she stopped at a random spot of land that rose up from the ground, giving her a chance to look at where she was and what she was dealing with. Nothing interesting stood out when she looked ahead, nor when she looked to the right. Almost discouraged, she turned her head to the left and saw her beacon: a bunch of monuments that seemed to have just popped up from the ground. A smirk crossed her features and she descended from the mound to her chosen destination.

By the time she had reached the Stone Steppe, she was ready to find a shady spot to rest. Her slender, cobalt frame could only handle so much heat for a time. She briefly remembered the meeting she had with Serefina and a sensual smile exchanged spots with the smirk. If only she could feel such a desirable feeling again...it would be enough to push her over the edge. Such thoughts made her loins ache more so than usual and she pushed the thoughts away before she walked to the closest admirable set of stones. She looked it over with fascination before deciding to look for more spots of shade. After all, she had all the time in the world that day to find a satisfying place to relax...Didn't she?

Voltage was...restless. Then again, was he ever not? He couldn’t entirely remember a time when he wasn’t moving, when his paws were twitching. Well, no, that was wrong as well. There were moments when he stood still, moments when he could merely stand there and not move a muscle. But that was often due to his emotions rampaging. So, no, it wasn’t a lie. He was always moving, but sometimes he just wasn’t physically moving. But regardless of all that, Voltage was restless, physically and emotionally. So what did he do when he was restless? Mostly, he ran. Voltage found that the quicker his paws pushed against the earth, the most his muscles worked and his body moved his mind cleared. His thrumming energy became more manageable in these moments. But it was only a quick fix, a temporary thing, and when he stopped moving Voltage would once more find himself restless. Perhaps it was due to the instability of their life, how this last year has set them all into turmoil. Voltage thrived off rules and order, because it allowed him to focus. He had too many days where he didn’t have anything to do, aside from spending time with his siblings of course. He missed the life of a stable family. He longed for the pack life, knowing he had duties, where he could train for a position and use his energy to protect those he loved.

But that didn’t change what was happening now, did it. He continued to move as his clear mind wound through his problems and his attempts at fixing them. A pack life would be wonderful, but he couldn’t bare to think of anyone else leading his siblings. He couldn’t give up his position, his lot in life, to another who he hardly knew. He had to secure their safety and their happiness, and he couldn’t possibly allow another to do that. Aswell, he doubted Sere would listen to anyone above her that wasn’t her siblings, and he knew the others could be restless as well. They had grown accustomed to their life of freedom and sibling led rule.

He continued to muse as he ran, finally feeling the burning effects of the activity. It was only then that he began to take notice at where he was, what was happening around him. Pulling in a deep breath to heal his aching lungs, he slowed to a gentle trot, storm colored eyes gazing around at the rock that seemed to almost spring about around him. It was at times like these that he felt his breath failing him, and he would grin so brightly. This place, it certainly seemed to be like magic. He hummed softly as he walked, eyes gazing around. All of his attention was on the beautiful craftsmanship of the ruins that he didn’t notice a very caved in section until he found himself falling head first into a slanted, three foot deep hole, landing with a loud thud and a surprised yelp.

Her adventure would be filled with surprises, even though she didn't realize it. For all she knew, she was alone in this part of Ala, fending for herself and everything she needed. It was indeed a horrible experience, having to depend on herself for anything that struck her fancy. If she had only found a place within a male's paws like she had when she first slept with Scorpion, maybe then she would have been set for life. Alas, no point in looking back at the past when it wouldn't change her future.

These thoughts danced through her head and prevented her from being pulled to the present. As she lazily strolled along the large stones, she heard a noise that was unfit for the quiet scenery. Bright turquoise blue eyes looked everywhere, ears perking for the sound's location. Slowly, her head turned to the left and she noticed an unfamiliar scent wavering from one of the fallen stones diagonally across from where she stood. Her golden-dipped forepaws led the way to the source and what she found was astonishing.

Pandora came to a stop about a foot from the hole, a hole she wouldn't have noticed if the noise hadn't startled her. Unsure of what was down there, she crept towards the edge and peeked over. Vibrant gold and black fur rustled in the darkness, catching her eyes and making her temporarily blind. Shyly, she pulled back and shook her head from the sudden brightness of the pelt, but she quickly recovered and looked down again. Her eyes met the male's and she couldn't help but automatically giggle. "Are...are you all right?" she sweetly asked, light Romanian accent hitting all the right spots in her inquiry.
