It was mid morning when the brute called the older pups to him. He sat in a dip nestled between two knolls. Beside him a small creek babbled, its banks overflowing with thick green foliage. Among the greenery several beneficial plants grew. Valentine had decided that it was time for a lesson in first aid. He wasn't an expert in the field, but with Kylar's help he knew enough to make himself useful after a fight. Today he would pass that knowledge on. If any of younglings showed a strong interest in the subject he'd make a point to find them a mentor. Revenge was a promising young healer, but the brute wasn't sure if he was quite ready to take on an apprentice. Later, Valentine promised himself, he'd make a point to see if he could work out some kind of trade with one of the other packs. Another call? Oh boy, it looks like this pack had lots of meeting! There was something special about this call though, it was for all pups. Oh. Caesar was really starting to feel less and less special, and also like he was outnumbered. Not many of the pups went out of their way to talk to him, and he ignored most of them too. This would be really interesting... Bounding up to Valentine he lingered around him, actually feeling a little bit of anxiety. He wasn't used to being nice to others, nor did he LIKE to be nice. But he knew that he was being watched here, Valentine was making sure that he was treating others nicely. His own parents couldn't even handle him, but the mountain man was the first that he semi-kinda listened to. He was starting to understand that if he didn't listen, the punishment would be bigger than anything that his parents attempted. So he stayed silent, just falling to his rump and waiting for things. Oh but wait. His green eyes lit up at he looked all the way up at Valentine. Was this training? Would he be able to bite someone?

The tiny girl wasn't eager to be called, but her little form would find its way to Valentine's presence anyway. These strangers scared her, and so she found a submissive role was easy to take on. Though she'd been a right spit fire when it was only herself and her brothers now that she had little familiarity to cling to she'd grown quiet and passive. She didn't care when Caesar threw dirt at her nor did she get riled up when the other pups were being rough and rowdy, she felt like an echo of the little she pup she once was, and was close to begging for her release, but that needed bravery. Even for a six month olf the girl was small, she would't grow much larger than she was now. She wouldn't even reach her mother's height. Not that any of that was at the forefront of her mind. Timidly the spotted she pup would appear before Valentine, a hint of curiosity within her features but mostly she was filled with longing and fear. "Talk" "You" Think

Lanky limbs carried her to the howler with ease. She knew a bit about the alpha, but she knew more about his kids. The big guy was alright in her book, kinda strict, but okay. So long as she said 'yes, sir' and 'no, sir' and didn't bite that Angel boy again or instigate he didn't seem to mind her running amok. Neither did Daegmar for that matter. She was pretty busy with her puppies and had pretty much just turned Siri and her siblings loose. Not that she was complaining. The freedom was nice. Stopping between the two pups who had beat her there, Sirius puffed out her chest in what she thought was a good imitation of what a grown up looked like. Where Caesar suddenly strove to behave and please Valentine, Colette hid away into a state that was almost quieter than Shakespeare himself, the largest of the three siblings was developing a slightly more bitter outlook upon life. Revenge had seemed ok, he harboured no ill towards the man though he hated Valentine, hated Cascade, hated their stupid kids. He didn't share his father's ego, didn't think of himself or his family as being any better than them, in fact had noticed a few similarities between the two families. He wanted his freedom though, he wanted to return to his mother and these people were keeping him away from them. He had shown no signs of these developments, as quiet as ever but those feelings lingered deep within him, controlled and contained. He did as he was told for now, quietly obeyed the rules as he had done before though he hated every moment of it. The same applied now as he and the other pups were summoned by the alpha. Silently he would join the group, yellow eyes observing though no greeting given, only a small nudge as he settled at Colette's side. He'd lost compassion for his brother as of late, though his now timid sister still had his care.

Trei's ears perked as Valentine's call rang through Imperium. Ooooh, a call just for the kids? Even better, just for the older kids, so Daegmar's kids had to stay out of it. Cool! A chance to show off to the other kids that Armadas weren't anything to mess with. Or whatever. Trei took off after Sirius at a slightly lazier pace, finally catching up to flop gracelessly next to her. "Hey!" he greeted the other pups, recognizing some of the pups who'd played together - or not as the case may be - with Valen's pups and he and his sisters. "Am I late?" He shouldn't be late... Valen's kids hadn't even shown up yet so he had to be at least on time unless they'd been excused or something. 'Sept he couldn't see the alpha's kids skipping a lesson, if that was what this was. He sighed at the thought... not that he didn't like learning, but all the lessons he'd been getting lately had been from Daegmar and while he learned a lot from her she wasn't a very fun teacher. ""

The manner in which Evangeline sprinted into the puppy group might have been less than ladylike but she beat Phim and Angel there. Panting lightly but clearly proud of her accomplishment (and accomplishment it was, those extra couple inches Angel held on her made a big difference, and Phim was irritatingly fast!) she gave a shake to fix her messed up fur and settled herself neatly in the forefront of the group to sit prim and proper. She smiled brightly at her dad, quite pleased with herself for having showed her brothers up even if she did still have to share him with these ruffians who didn't have the good fortune of having a daddy as great as hers. She would simply have to attempt to ignore their unrefined behavior in order to impress upon Daddy just how much better and grown up she was. "Hi, Daddy! Are we having a lesson today?" ""

Integra snuck quietly back inside Imperium's borders, tickled pink with her visit to Ebony. It had been quite a little adventure and she felt like she'd learned so much already, and yet she still craved more. A howl rang out and she frowned. Valentine? Crap! And he was on the other side of the Knolls too! Sighing she began to sprint toward the call, knowing full well she was going to be late. Panting, the young girl came upon a group of her peers already gathered. She was the last to show, how embarassing! Oh wait… not last. Ha! She beat Angel and Phimmy there at least. With a nod of greeting she moved to sit next to her siblings. "Speech"
