It was time to decide the future of the Elementar's, they had settled in on the beach as best as they could and both he and Voltage had started to explore a little. The problem was, a few wolves did cross across the beach occasionally, and the fact that they didn't have a true stack on this territory. They wanted to be able to call this place home with more finality then they where now, to have territories to guard and a structure to build upon to ensure his family was fed, protected, and happy.

It was something that both he and Voltage had been considering for a while, but Glacier wanted to make a reality sooner rather then later. He would lift his head as he walked outside the main den and call for Voltage, as the day began to turn to afternoon. He seated his rump on the sand and waited for the other boy to reply.

Voltage had met a few strangers that had..."trespassed" into their home. He didn't mind much that, much, but Voltage was very protective of his family. It was almost an obsession, he spent a great deal of his time worrying and planning and plotting and...all around thinking of his family. Often he found himself thinking...they just had to make this a pack, make this a territory so that they can inforce their borders, and secure their family's safety. He was mulling it over just when he heard Glacier's call, a small smile spreading across his lips as he peered out of the main den. His big brother certainly seemed to be able to read his mind, it seemed. So he grinned, brightly, and trotted from his relaxing spot in the den. "Yes Brother?" He said with a gentle grin, moving to approach him. He noticed his expression, and instantly Voltage knew that it was now. They weren't going to make it official, yet, but it was time to make their plan a priority. "Brother, are we to make it official?" He asked, nearly giddy as he moved to sit beside him. "A pack, brother, oh it'll be work!"

The two brothers, well so different in size, colour appearance and nature, where often on the same mental frequency, and as Voltage trotted into view with a grin on his face, Glacier would easily match it, and the first words out of Voltage's mouth would be about a pack. “Exactly my thoughts, of course” Glacier agreed, moving to nuzzle his brothers cheek and smile at the other boy.

He rearranged himself to properly face Voltage, and let his smile relax into a more serious expression. Then, he would get down to business. “I've done a bit of exploring, and watching, and I think for our family its the best thing to do, I can see your keen for the idea also, so, lets do it, eh brother? Lets consider how to make it a reality”

Lightbutt grinned brightly as his brother confirmed his thoughts. It really wasn't often that he and Glacier weren't on the same brainwave, and it really wasn't often that Voltage misguessed what Glacier was thinking about, or why he called him. Except for once...but even the closest of siblings had their moments. He shifted to get a bit more comfortable, facing his mammoth of a brother as he tilted his head. How to make it a reality, well that was a question? "I've spoken to a few of our siblings already, adn I plan to speak to a few more..." He said softly. "They seem supportive, it seems to be the next step naturally." They had to consider ranks, consider each other, consider just how they would defend their borders. "You and I will lead, together. Equal, no one having more or less say than the other. There is no one I'd rather do this with but you, brother." He said with a gentle smile. "It will be just like how it is now, but the family will have security, will have jobs and things to do. It'll be efficient, and we'll thrive." He was sure of it, so sure. "Do you agree brother? You and I...together?" He had to be sure. He couldn't move on to the next step, to the planning if he wasn't sure (even though he was), even if he wasn't positive that Glacier would want to be on the exact same level as Voltage. But, then again, they have gone this far together, and he doubted that would change.

Voltage would get right to the point also, admitting that he had started to talk to their family about it and Glacier nodded encouragingly, glad their family members where slowly getting onto the same page as the older brothers. He would speak of the ruling and Glacier would nod. “I wouldn't have it any other way, through perhaps we could both specialize in different areas to keep the family running smoothly?” he considered, and listened carefully to his brother.

“Exactly so, this is more of a family then a pack even when it will be official, its a way to keep our family safe, its not really a place for random wolves to join because they want to join a pack, but a place where our family, and out families family can live and thrive” he was more thinking out loud not then anything else, keeping Voltage on the same page as his thoughts where running.[color=#716f65 “Always Voltage, you and me, where the first and last line of defense for our family, it will always be you and me against the world” [/color]

Same page, same page. He wouldn't trade this for the world, the telepathy that they seemed to share. Perhaps it was because they were littermates, or perhaps it was their fate...their destiny to lead as one. The unyielding wall, and the strike to end it all. Voltage couldn't help but grin brightly as Glacier spoke of his thoughts for the pack. And something seemed to click. "Donostrea..." He whispered softly then, smiling brightly. "A home for our family, and those that have grown close to us. Perhaps extend a home to those in need, but this is not a pack for strangers to join hoping for a home...Just us, the Elementas, together as they have always been meant to be. " He whispered lightly, grinning up at his brother. He nearly felt his eyes gloss with tears at the way his brother spoke of them, and he merely nodded quickly. Yes, yes, them together. Always. He wouldn't have it any other way. "We will lead, guide, not rule. It is still our family, but this gives us a chance to actually create rules and laws to protect our family, rather than suggestions." He said softly, thinking of Serefina. "What would our specialties be, brother?" He asked gently. Voltage seemed more inclined to fight, to defend, and Glacier seemed more of a guide, checking in with his family. But, perhaps his brother had a better idea on how their roles should play. "Guides are the best idea for this family, and we must ensure it continues in the future. Most pack have heirs...we'll need two. And not necessarily our own, it'll be like us. The first born and second born of the next generation..." He whispered softly, thinking out loud. "If you agree, of course..."

A word would slip from Voltage's lips, and they would both immediately feel the rightness of it, and he would grin at his brother, not speaking, but allowing the agreement to be since in his expression and shinning eyes. As Glacier had spoken of it not being a place for stranger, so too did Voltage, extending upon the thought a little further. He spoke of them not being rulers, but rather to guide their family, to set guide lines and structure and laws to protect them and allow them growth, and again he would nod, absently, deep in shared thought of the pack.

“I think we should each lean towards the direction that feels right, for me watching, guiding, nudging has always felt right” he would raise an eyebrow at Voltage. “I feel whatever you choose would be a more energetic and direct perspective, which is how we balance each other” he continued. “Perhaps, or whoever seems likely to lead and protect wisely and lovingly – through this is something we dont have to look too deeply into for a while.” he said.
