This is the moment

This was the moment. The moment Voltage had been waiting for....forever. Finally, with the support of his beloved family behind him, and his big brother and littermate at his side, Voltage would finally be able to achieve his dream. He would do anything to give his family the stability he had always craved. Ever since he and his brother were sent away from their home as children he had needed it. It was something his parents never gave him, and he had been on his own to achieve it. No, no thats wrong. Voltage was never on his own. Never. He had his siblings and his brother, and he could never repay them. But this....this was the moment he needed to start repaying them for all their trust and all their support. He hummed a little melody as he walked along, trying to find a place to call to the world that they were now pack. They claimed their land, they were now something more than a family. But he didnt know where. Sure he should have done it on this on his packland, but something told him he should go out and do this. Perhaps it was to ensure their safety, so that if someone would want to challenge him, he could do so away from the safety of his family. So he walked, Glacier at his side, as he searched for the perfect place to make their announcement. "Its a glorious day" he whispered, nearly singing as he moved through the lands, the brightest of toothy grins upon his lips. They moved through trees, with Voltage's happy humming to accompany them, before suddenly the younger brother stopped. Bright stormy eyes stared at the little fountain of water, and it almost seemed to call to him. His heart sung as he stared, and he knew fate would have it. This was the place they would make their announcement. "Are you ready?” he whispered, glancing to his brother who always stood at his side before he would throw his head back and call, howl to the lands that the Elementas had arrived and they were making base. Donostrea would be theirs. "Burn Baby Burn" |

Glacier would have howled on their home turf, but he could understand Voltage’s reasoning that they make this call away from home in case any chose to challenge their right to claim - that the fighting would be away from their family. He let Voltage lead them, the bright smile and happy nature of his brother was bliss and he wanted nothing more than to just walk beside the other boy and soak in his happiness, as though he was a cold blooded creature and Voltage’s joy was his sun. When the other boy stopped, he would assess their surroundings, judge it for weak points and strong points, and direct his body to be on whatever side of Voltage was closest to where danger might strike. He wasn't normally this protective of his completely capable brother, but they were expecting trouble, and he wasn't going to take any chances. His stance however was one at ease, and he would turn to his brother with a grin as the other asked if he was ready. Instead of speaking, he simply nodded his head, they had all been waiting for this moment and now that it was here all he wanted to do was throw back his head, and he did so as Voltage started the call, and with a strong howl Glacier added his voice to that of his beloved brother, calling out to the world, telling them they where here, and they didn't intent to leave. In the distance, the beast watched carefully, sickly green orbs febrile as he watched his former, if not, recent home be claimed by a duo of... colorful wolves. One was familiar, gold on black. Except, the other one... a titan compared to the gold male, was entirely new. What home was there left for him now? Where were Rainbow and their adopted children supposed to go? They couldn't run fast enough from Imperium, for they would be found. Dione had not stepped up to the challenge for her pack.
It was never worth it.
Fenris should not have even tried. Why had he? Suddenly, he remembered. For Rainbow. She was the one he truly loved... enjoyed. They were still together... yet it did not feel the same. He was curious to know how it felt to be in power. Getting low to the ground, he watched carefully, making little noise... even if he was sticking out rather awkwardly.
