Wolves of Yellowstone v2

For many years, the packs of Grand Canyon and Cougar Creek have run the land of Yellowstone. Only four years ago, two Alphas by the names of Esperanza and Dexerous brought their rivalries to the ultimate test with a war for the land. However, this was cut short when the Volcano that makes up the majority of Yellowstone itself erupted. Many wolves were killed or simply disappeared and now the pack wolves as well as the loners are in for a strange surprise. The lava that spread among the territory had a toxic effect to it, most likely caused by the strong radiation and pollution that the humans left behind. The canines that were spared from this gruesome death were going to need to change in order to survive their new home.

Esperanza had managed to survive the disaster, but within two years had a strange formation on her back and the ability to hear others thoughts as well as push them into their minds. She still stands as the Alpha and is trying her best to regain her pack. Cougar Creek was not so lucky. Their alpha had disappeared - not knowing if he had died or simply fled the disaster. However, the pack broke down, splitting up and turning into rogues. Some of these Cougar wolves stayed together though, vowing to take back their land when a new alpha will step forward.

As of today, both packs are trying to gain common ground and recover. However, they don't know what the volcano has left for them, but that might not be their biggest threat anymore. Their new worst enemy lives within and walks among them all. No one is safe. The ones they should fear most are the ones that sleep beside them at night.
