Borealis |
Soft silent paws wove between fruit-heavy trees and berry-infested brambles, the small body radiating a natural arrogance endemic to feline kind. The long grey, black-striped coat could have belonged to any housecat, but the northern lights eyes that peered calmly through the orchard could only belong to one cat: Borealis. Well, one cat and his immediate kin, but that was entirely beside the point. As far as the lands of Alacritis were concerned, he was entirely unique. Also entirely trespassing, but the cat in question could not care less about where canines chose to pee. Why should the stench of doggy urine deter him from where he wanted to go? These lands were replete with fruit and therefore with the tiny creatures that thrived there. Mice, rats, squirrels... they would cower before him. "" |
