Voltage had heard the call, felt the electricity in the air. There was a festival close to his home, and he was wanting to go, but there was someone he wanted to fetch first. He wondered if she'd want to attend the event with him. It would be a good way to get her out and about, hopefully push whatever sadness she may still feel away for a night, and for the two of them to spend more time together. He knew he had left her waiting for too long, he had meant to come take her out on a date long ago. But things had...happened. With his brother falling, hurt and injured, he was in no way able to really leave the packlands. There was always someone calling for him, always someone that needed him for something that he just couldn't bare to venture away for too long. What if something serious happened and he wasn't home and Glacier was out of commission? But he couldn't help but miss her, entirely.

With a gentle smile on his face he trotted towards the packlands he had left her on, hoping that he'd be able to catch her before she ventured off to the festival on her own (if she did). Three delicate white flowers that held the strongest and most pretty fragrance set delicately between his teeth. He hadn't chosen the prettiest of flowers to take her, but he had chosen the best smelling with the most delicate of petals. Eyesight might be a problem for Gaia, but he would try and appeal to all her other senses. With a gentle hum he stood at the loner end of the borders, gently lowering his flowers before glancing around. For a moment he wondered if someone would come meet Gaia's summoner, but he didn't feel any anxiety. He'd gladly meet some of her family, gladly introduce himself. With a gentle smile he tilted his head back, howling for his little Gaia, wondering if she even wanted to join him at the festival.

She felt like it had been nearly an eternity since she'd last seen Voltage, but she felt like she was holding her own rather well. Her tears didn't come quite so easily and her siblings were there for her whenever the tears did decide to fall. Her heart was still in pain, Solo had left a hole that was going to take some time to close. Voltage had shown her that it was possible though, she would be whole again one day. Her mind strayed to both Solo and Voltage depending on the hour, she felt like she thought of them both often. Though the thoughts of Voltage would always brighten her memories of Solo only brought her down. She was on a ridiculous emotional roller coaster and she was ready to get off.

She would be greeted with a welcome distraction, the sound of Voltage's voice seemed too good to be true and with out hesitation the she wolf lifted herself from the soft grass that grew by the lake. Freewing had already taken to the air, his form finding her own as he flew to her shoulder. He would make her aware of anything she might run into (or step into). Her silvery paws would bring her to the border where Voltage called her, the smile on her face unmistakable. She would stop before the Elementas wolf she'd wait on him to close the distance between them. "Hello, Voltage." her voice was bright, but it held a bit of a nervousness to it. She hadn't realized until now the butterflies in her stomach. Freewing would offer a follow up greeting, his normal cheery chirp aimed in Voltage's direction.

He would not have to wait long, not that it upset him to ever wait for Gaia. He would wait a thousand days just to see her face. But, that was not today, no. He heard Freewing before he saw Gaia, but when he did...oh. It was like watching the sunrise after the worst of thunderstorms. She was like fresh air filling his lungs and his smile was wide. Everything felt just a touch lighter now that he saw her again. Sure he still felt the regret for allowing his brother to fall, all the things he had to do at home with the pack..but no, today he felt free. Like he took a day off from everything he gladly took on. "Hello Gaia" He said in return, feeling giddy when she said his name. He felt like a child, and without a second thought he stepped forward (over the border if he had too) to embrace her. It had been far too long since he felt her warmth, and he couldn't wait another second. "I am so terribly sorry for how long I have taken..." He whispered, taking a step back to smile down at her, despite her lack of sight. He was just so happy, too happy. He felt like he could fly, adrenaline and energy spiking through his veins. "So much has happened at home. Every time I tried to slip away another wolf was calling me to ask if Dono and their packs were friends. You wouldn't believe how many, and I don't get it. How could they think we were friends if I didn't even hear the name of the pack before?" He asked, his tone teasing but not condescending. He had made a few good acquaintances that way, but it had always put him in a tough spot, unable to promise the support of his family to an unknown pack. Clearing his throat he stepped away then, shifting to paw the flowers closer to her. "I found these for you. They were the best smelling ones I could find." He said with a gentle grin, a laugh upon his lips. "And I was wondering...Well, this pack is having a festival. Games, and fun and sparring, it'll be great fun. And I was wondering, if you would like to attend it with me?"

She didn't rush forward to greet him mostly because she wasn't up for colliding into him awkwardly. It was easier for him to come to her, wrapping himself easily into her form as he embraced her. Gaia would push forward now, nuzzling into his neck affectionately as he apologized for taking so long. She would shake her head into his fur, he didn't even have to give her an excuse. He was with her now, that's all she wanted to think about. He'd step away though, her silvery eyes would seek out his own despite the fact that they could not see. She'd shake her head again in answer to his question, she might have been a princess when she was younger but her mother had never really gotten to the point with her that she would receive the grooming necessary to take over. She didn't have any advice for him.

Thankfully though Voltage would ease into another subject, he'd brought her a present. Her features would perk, though as he shifted his paw she guessed they were at his feet. She'd thought she'd scented something pleasant smelling around. Lowering her head she would sniff closer at his gift, her smile growing at the sentiment. "Oh, they're lovely," She'd whisper softly as he laughed and brought up another question. There was a gathering and he wanted her to come with him. She'd smile as she brought her features to look back up at him. "Of course!"

Voltage would grin brightly as she pressed into him. Every little negative emotion he had felt recently seemed to flood away at her warmth, and he'd push his nose into her soft toned fur ever so lightly. It was his saving grace, this feeling, this woman. Without the thought of her to get him through the day, he was sure he would have gone mad with worry from the very second Glacier had fallen. He felt everything so strongly, and this just seemed to amplify it. Like energy prickling along his skin, this was a good thing, a good emotion, and rather addicting as well. When she reached to smell his flowers he would grin softly, bending down to grab one with a shorter stem to reach forward in an attempt to tuck it into her fur. He doubt it'd stay, and it was not meant to be permanent at all, but the sentiment was there. A beautiful flower for his beautiful Gaia. The second she agreed to go with him, however, it was like that very last weight fell away. With a delighted sound (something akin to a squeak and quite possibly a wheeze) he nearly jumped in place. "Oh excellent!" He said quite happily, grinning at her and nuzzling into the fur that lined her neck. "Let's go, then, we don't want to be late!" He said happily. Perhaps he had forgotten to mention it was right now, but oh, the unplanned things were always the more exciting.
