The young man knew well enough that Threar contained members of Bass' family. With a howl at Abaven's own borders, an announcement to Bass that he would be leaving for a short while, the man would slip away from the territory and go out to seek Threar's borders. He wondered what Bass' family was like, outside of those that he had already met. The gentleman wanted to meet more wolves, he had decided, from the other packs. Not just as a form of pack relations, oh no, but also just to get to know them. It wasn't as if he was getting any younger after all.

Nona still came to his mind from time to time, but he was starting to wonder if she was truly alright. If she had developed some sort of infection and now there was no way she was coming back. It broke his heart to think like that... but Allen knew sometimes there was nothing you could do, even if you loved someone.

Coming to the borders of Threar upon Fontamo Bay the aging man would tilt his head back, letting out his call for the alphas of the pack. He could only hope that they would arrive in due time, providing the Festival that Threar had held hadn't worn them out.

It may have been a rather biased comment to make, but the festival had been rather successful. There hadn't been as many Destruction appearances as Novella would have liked, though the chance to meet new packs and wolves had gone better than she could have previously expected. And now judging from the howl at the borders the attention to Threar wouldn't end with the festival.

The howl wasn't one that she recognised, though she had visited Abaven from time to time and attempted to encourage a stronger relationship between the two packs there were still many within her nephew's pack that were completely unknown to her. Allen may have been at the festival, but so had many other wolves and their paths simply hadn't crossed. Now it seemed the man sought to change that, calling them forwards.

The scent on the other hand she quickly recognised, even if she had no name to put to the face or even a memory of having seen him before. Even though it was an unexpected visit, an Abaven wolf was most certainly welcome and a friendly smile would fall across the Author's face as she came to a stop before him. "Hello there. I don't believe we have met before, I'm Novella Destruction." She greeted warmly.

Frith would walk by his wife's side as they basked in the victory that was a festival well held. He hadn't had much desire to leave her side since and even as the nfamiliar call rang out he would follow after her towards the border of Threar and Abaven. He would guess that the wolf was from their sister like pack, but the voice was so obviously not from Bass. Frith felt curiosity stir within him as he followed his wife to where the man stood. He would be almost recognized by the Author but Frith was not about to be able to guess the other's name.

Frith would come to a stop as Novella halted before their guest. A smile would play at the corner of his lips and a nod for a greeting offered as Novella introduced herself. "I am Frith Destruction, Authors of Threar." He' doffer proudly as he stood beside his better half. He'd tilt his head curiously as he wondered what their meeting might bring. Surely Abaven was not in trouble.

The two alphas of Threar would make a timely appearance at his request, much to Allen's pleasure. He had never met the two of them personally, but it was likely that they recognized his scent as an Abaven member. The aging gentleman would tip his head to the two, Novella and Frith, with a gentle smile upon his face. "No miss Novella, I'm afraid that we have not. It a pleasure to meet you and mister Frith as well." The calico would lift his head, gaze shifting from one alpha to the other. Authors they called themselves... though their posture told him their actual rank.

"My name is Allen Walker, recently appointed Azgrat of Abaven. I stand beside Bass now... and thought it would be good to come meet the allies of Abaven." The calico gentleman would give a small laugh. "Forgive me if I seem too forward, but would the two of you be kind enough to tell me a bit about Threar? This is the first time I've come to visit I'm afraid."

Frith wasn't too far at all from her, joining her to answer the call from this Abaven wolf. It was a little strange for it to be a wolf other than a member of the Destruction family visiting them, though she would try to keep any concerns at the back of her mind and not worry until she had a reason to do so.

The man would introduce himself as the secondary alpha of Abaven, which hopefully was the only reason he was here today and as he continued to speak it seemed to be the case. A chance for an introduction and to learn a little more about Threar. It seemed strange to her that Bass hadn't spoken much about Abaven's allies though she could understand Allen coming here to visit them either way.

"Well congratulations" Novella offered with a small smile as he mentioned his promotion. Hopefully Bass was alright though, it had been a while since she had seen him. "Unfortunately you're not alone in the lack of visits, even Bass himself hasn't stopped by too often." Novella responded.  "It's a shame, I had hoped for the two packs to do more things together but I understand we all get busy." Perhaps now that both packs had two alphas it might be easier for them to negotiate these things a little better. "Threar is mainly a peaceful pack, we like to stay out of trouble and provide a safe home."

Frith didn't quite recognize their guest, he was obviously not of the same family as his wife and the other alpha of Abaven. There was a more than obvious curiosity within Frith's features as he introduced himself, though he'd perk his ears and listen as the other wolf directed his purpose towards them. He sought to become acquainted with himself and Novella, which seemed quite appropriate considering their pack's relations with one another. Frith would smile an doffer his support to his wife as she answered him briefly, he hadn't seen Bass in quite some time either. He too would wish for a tighter relationship with their closest ally and family.

Novella would offer a little previes about what Threar was about, they were peaceful and only wished to live their lives undisturbed. Their arms were welcoming to those in need, and he had no trouble offering himself to help those who are most in need. His mind shifted to Hecate and Kalliope, and he smiled softly. "We offer help to those who are in need of it most, as well as a safe haven for those who have been hurt or abused." He believed everyone deserved a chance at a happy ending.

The gentleman would tilt his head forward as Novella congratulated him. “Thank you miss Novella.” He would feel a bit bad that not even Bass had come to visit his own family, though it was a bit understandable. “Yes... He’s been rather busy maintaining Abaven. There has been some troubles about, and even a war with Aracanum and Ebony that two of us Abaven’s helped with.” Allen would explain, readily defending his friend’s reasoning for not stopping by. Not only that, but due to the fact that Threar wolves were family he felt they had a right to know.

“Though I’m sure he’ll have more free time to stop by soon. It is part of the reason I offered to step up.” He would gently smile, taking in the information that both spoke of Threar. He would give a nod of acknowledgment. “I figured something similar would be the case. It is wonderful to hear.” The calico would have an idea click in his head and speak again.

“Why don’t we surprise Bass with some training set up between the two packs? I know he wants Abaven members to get more proactive... I know with Harmony being a bit out of sorts and my own mate missing we are lacking in the healing department. Is there anything in particular your pack needs training in?”

"Novella will do just fine thank you Allen, no titles needed." Novella commented, a small smile upon her features. He wouldn't be the first to be so polite and whilst it was nice, he was amongst friends, such formalities were not required.

Threar was most certainly meant to be a haven of sorts. It had begun to grow beyond the family now though the quiet little pack still hadn't really made their name on the map just yet it seemed. Perhaps the festival would help with that slightly though Novella had no way of telling right this moment nor was she really looking to examine that anyway; it hadn't been her ambition behind organising such an event.

This little talk would provoke Allen to offer the one thing that Novella had always hoped for; the packs training together, helping each other improve. That had been what the festival was for, a way to strengthen and build bonds, a way for the members of the two packs mingle. Unfortunately it of course hadn't gone quite as planned. This little meeting today would perhaps show signs of solving that all now though.

"We do have a couple of healers in our ranks, though they may not be the best candidates for teachers." Novella informed him, though truth be told she wasn't sure how useful either one would actually be. "Sorrel isn't exactly the most sociable of wolves, I highly doubt he'd want to lead a lesson. One of our newer members is also a healer though I know little of her skill or if she would want to lead a lesson."

It was an somewhat upsetting revelation to her to learn that Harmony wasn't doing so well at the moment, though it was the lack of mention about Rhythm that had her most confused. "I don't mean to push all the responsibility onto Abaven of course, but what about Rhythm? I thought she was doing very well with healing too." In the lack of meetings with Bass she had no idea about her niece's banishment, it wasn't a topic that had come up during the festival, far merrier conversations were to be had instead.

"As for Threar, a hand would be appreciated with any fight training. My brother was meant to take on that responsibility though he has been missing for a little while." They were certainly lacking in any real leaders when it came to the skills right now. They could get by a certain amount though it would indeed aid them if Abaven would be willing to share lessons with them.

So there were some healers in their ranks, though the fact that they might not be so good at teaching others did worry the man a little bit. He knew that Starling in particular needed the training, and Finch and Shrike would need some as well. He could use his own tune up on herblore as well... Perhaps just in memory of his beloved. But there was always ways to get around things like that, right?

He would frown a bit at the mention of Rhythm, flicking his ears back. “I’m afraid that I don’t have all the details... But she’s living in Imperium now. There was some sort of falling out between her and Bass... And that’s all I know.”

He was certain that the subject would come up later between Novella and Bass, but for now there was little more that could be said on the matter with his knowledge. But as for the mention of training again he would give a nod. “Hmm.. Quelt is a good fighter... I’m sure he wouldn’t mind leading a training session in that area. Now the only question is how would you like to go about this? Shall we meet in the middle of the two packs or...?” He would question gently, leaving the option up to the two of them rather than making it himself.

Novella would grow a little concerned by Allen's mention of a fall out between the brother and sister. In the past she had been caught in the middle of sibling fights herself it wasn't something that she hoped would continue for the awkwardness of others not to mention she hated the family arguing at all. She'd have to ask them both about it more the next time she saw them, though her answers didn't lie with Allen it seemed. A small nod of understanding would be given and she would leave the topic alone for now.

Instead they'd shift to the topic of fight training a name that Novella couldn't say she recognised put forwards for the leader of such a lesson. Frith would possibly help where he could as well, her mate was a more competent fighter than she was though she would allow him to suggest such a thing if he wished.  "I don't know how you feel about having my lot on Abaven lands though I could offer up Threar lands for the training. Whichever you and Quelt prefer I guess if he will be the one leading it." If only to be awkward, she would leave the decision up to them.

Allen would tip his head in response to Novella, his words gentle. “It’s honestly not so much that I feel uncomfortable having Threar wolves upon Abaven lands, it is simply just something I’d rather speak to Bass about first before doing. We are a team after all.” He didn’t want to make any huge decisions without the help of his friend, nor did he want to seem like he was the only alpha of the pack. He knew well enough that he didn’t rule Abaven. Though helping out had certainly been a joy for him.

“Does mid winter sound good for the training sessions? I know most packs will be slowed down around this time, and it is good to make sure all of our youths and such keep in shape.” He would give a light laugh. “We could hold them the same day as well. Almost like a mini festival between our packs, if that works for you?”

Of course Bass also needed to play a part in such decisions, she certainly hadn't meant to exclude him anyway. Much in the same way she wouldn't have minded the allied pack within her lands however she was sure Bass wouldn't be entirely against the idea of Threar visiting Abaven either. He had always welcomed her and her family into the lands, though she was his aunt of course and thinking on it she could understand that circumstances could be a little different for the rest of her pack. "I understand, that's perfectly fine." She responded with a smile. "I'll still leave the ultimate decision in your hands though."

Though the placement for the training was still up in the air, there was of course no harm in sorting out a rough time for when it'd happen. Honestly Novella would have likely agreed even if he suggested the next day, not too bothered for when it would all happen. A little time for relax after the festival was likely a good idea and Allen's points made sense as well. "That all sounds good to me."

Allen would give a small nod as Novella spoke. The ultimate decision would still be in the hands of Abaven, which he could certainly respect. He would try to slide it past Bass in a way that was gentle, hinting at the gathering and yet not speaking of it outright so it could still be a surprise. He had high hopes that the training would be a success. Now that the base planning was done he would tip his head to Novella and Frith.

“Very well then. I shall come to you in mid winter then with news. For now, Novella, Frith, I will take my leave. May the seasons find you both well.” The calico gentleman would lift his head, turning away from them both. He was glad that this would not be their final meeting, and, tail wagging slowly back and forth, Allen would start back home towards Abaven.

Novella wouldn't have minded Allen staying longer, would have happily welcomed him in for a look around Threar for himself or could have discussed a topic unrelated to the packs, a chance to build further upon the relationship in a less formal manner. It seemed though with the introduction out of the way and plans for future events now possibly in process there wasn't too much else that Allen felt there was to discuss and that meant it was time for him to return to Abaven. He probably had other duties to get to, she could certainly understand that.

"We look forward to it." She responded in relation to his return in Winter. A visit was always welcome and one with further news for joint training was certainly encouraged. "Though feel free to drop by sooner if you like. Take care Allen, it was lovely to meet you."
