"I'm not gonna warn you again." Gargoyle said - his usual quiet and low. In a turn of rare events - his usually bland voice had a note of irritation to it.

The little white fox had been trailing him for sometime - practically biting at his ankles when he wasn't looking. He remembered hearing that Crusade had once getten into trouble with a whole gang of them. At the time Gargoyle had laughed - Crusade? Held at bay by a family of little white fluffballs? - But now he had an idea of how infuriating they could be. Sharp nasty little teeth - and truly as quick as the wind. Gargoyle was a damn fast fighter, and yet try as he might every time he pounced the little vermin's way it practically disappeared.

It was after the goose Gargoyle had caught. A whole flock of the migrating birds had been sleeping on the hill side - and Gargoyle had had a blast running through them as they paniced and winged into the sky. He'd almost smiled.

But he was snarling now.

And he couldn't bring himself to really attack it. It was just a fluffball! Of course then it decided to knaw on his hind leg again. "I swear - if you touch me again-!"

It did.

And Gargoyle ripped it's ear off.

As the fox went screaming away back into Glaciem territory, Gargoyle set himself down with a huff and started to rip the feathers off his bird. He was just within sight of the border - hoping to find a bit of peace in the newly thawed tundra.

So Thaddeus Rogue had again found himself look into the land that he was once raised. When he had again answer the call of his name he found himself away from Raven's pack. But that was okay his sister understood, she knew that names held power, and he still went by Rogue even though Thaddeus was still what he strive to be. Thaddeus wanted to wanted to live up to that night that he had gotten his scar saving 'little sister'. And in order to live up to that name, he needed to go back to his family and at least say 'hi' while he was in the area, if not what kinda brother would her be? Thaddeus drew a calming breath and then lifted his head into the sky, giving a soft howl hopfully to call his sister. He was hoping she still had some power, for he could not smell her strongly in the scent markers, but he smelled a male instead, and he smelled extremely familiar. Like it was someone he should remember but still Thaddeus could not place him...

At that Thaddeus shrugged, who ever it was Crusade could talk him down from killing Thaddeus, hopefully. The black and white brute moved over the boarder, but came up short at the sight, and well smell also. For it was the owner of the scent markers; and he looked like one of his siblings. Not only a part of his family but one of his litter mates. Thaddeus Rogue blinked in his shock, and then shock his head. That cannot be, for the brother that this brute looked like was dead, long dead, hell it was one of the reason that he left on his first journey that embraced his name, and what pushed him into the Blood Lands to learn that names had power and that is why, as a pup he spent much of him time alone and exploring, and why even before his brothers death he felt the pull of the need to just leave, to see what was outside the world and away from the lands he was born.

Thaddeus Rogue again sighed, but he damped his fright and moved his lanky body forward, and then forced his mouth open, for this male was the alpha f this lands, and brother lookalike or not, he may run Thaddeus away. He surely hopped not, for he did come to say hi to his sister, and he may not have many more chances as time passed. "Hail Stranger." The Black and white brute moved his lanky body forward, making sure he kept his form well away from the Alpha. Because family aside he was still trespassing and most alpha's and packs never took kindly to that. "I was in the area and I was hoping to pay a visit to my sister who lives in this pack." He looked back at the boarder then and then turned back. "I was going to wait for someone to come to my howl but then I smelled you and thought this would be faster." Thaddeus then looked at the morsel the brute was eating. "I'm so sorry to interrupt your meal, ser, but its been a long time since I seen any of my family and my travel warn body needs a bit of rest." With that Thaddeus sagged a bit, he was not lying that he was tiered, if he had not been in the area he could have already found some cave to rest, it was a long day, and all he wanted was to see his sister and then leave again. He had heard that to the south there was a pack that was ruled by many warlords, and he wanted to see for himself how a pack like that lived in harmony and not the Blood Packs...

To be interrupted in a meal is never a pleasant thing. But for a wolf, it is downright unsafe.

Gargoyle?s yellow repitilain eyes narrowed to golden slits as a stranger, now many paces from the border, made his precense known. From out of the corner of Gargie?s eye, his first thought was that he was seeing Asheni. There was something vaguely familiar about the black and white form ? and indeed the markings were similar. But no. This was no Asheni. This was no Glaciem. Was he utterly insane? For a minute Gargoyle sat there staring mutely, with a bloody feather hanging from his lip.

A sister in the pack?

Gargoyle only barely registered the words. His mind was too hung up on something ? something familiar in the voice. It kept nagging and nagging at the Chief?s mind as the male apologized, now for crossing the border, now for interrupting Gargoyle?s lunch. Both of which had been very unwise, and indeed, in most cases would?ve earned him a growl and raise of hackles. But Gargoyle was so preoccupied that he wasn?t thinking in terms of threats.

?Excuse me? he began in his low, toneless rumble,?but who-? the he-wolf?s eyes opened wide and he jackknifed to his paws. ?Rogue! Rogue- that is you!? One of the male?s rare smiles lightened his Doberman muzzle. His little nub of a tail was sent spinning. ?Gods Above! Don?t you recognize me?! It?s me! Gargie!?

Few things could bring such a warm change to the usually stolid Alpha. But family was one of them! Especially family found in so unlooked for a meeting. Memories of games through the Starlite woods, and play fights in the first Glaciem snow all flooded back. Rogue, the silly little pup with his nose always to the ground had turned into a very different wolf ? but then so had Gargoyle. They?d both had years to twist and mature, and yet here in this meeting, they might as well have been pups again for the silly grin that graced Gargie?s features.

Thaddeus seemed to get second thoughts as the brutes face seemed to drain of all emotion, and that was never a good thing to happen. His brain then started to go on overdrive in a plan to get outta this without getting hurt, seeing that plan A was not thought through. Plan B started to form in his mind as the male's yellow eye's meet his blue green ones. Rouge backed up a step but stopped as the male jumped to his feet with a large smile on his muzzle. Thaddeus tilted his head at that point looking as the male called him by name.

It was only after the brute called himself Gargie did it all start to sink in. It was not possible, it could not be possible, yeah sure the brute looked like his brother but could he? When he was little it had taken Rogue a long time to come to terms with his siblings death, hell his first trip was him trying to find the wayward brother that everyone told him was dead but he did not believe it, for a body was not found after all, and in his mind he was still out there just lost, needing help back to his family. But as time passed Thaddeus Rogue gave up the search, knowing in his mind that his brother must be dead, why else would he not be able to find him... But it seemed his mind failed him, his heart had been right, because how can Thaddeus deny what was in front of him, what his nose was telling him, because now that he was faced with the truth his nose confirmed it, for it was the smell that lived in all of them.

Thaddeus again back up, his mind a swirl of failures and unbelief. If his brother was alive, why was he never able to find him? Rogue had traveled the world, he had searched high and low, never smelling a whiff of his brother, but yet here he stood, failure in the face. Rogue bowed his head then, his eyes downcast, it took him a year to let go of the brother he was thought dead, and in the time he had almost died, the scars on his left side was testimony to that. But than again it was him that lead Rogue on the journey that shaped who he was and He owed Gargoyle that, for if it was not for him Rogue would not have met 'little sister' and would not have become Thaddeus.

The black and white brute let the pain of failure fall from his eyes for there was no need for it, his brother was back, whether by his own paws or by someone elses and that in itself was joyous. His green blue eyes softened as he looked into his brothers eyes. "Of course brother, how could I forget who you are?" Thaddeus stepped forward, closing the distance between them and pressed his face below Gargoyle's chin, in a show of both respect and affection. It was then he notes how large his brother was, Rogue was no small boy and he was still a head taller. "Man Gargie, what have you been eating! Your a giant!"

Thaddeus seemed to lose four in a half years at that point because it was then he bounded away playfully. "Wait, wait don't tell me, Crusade has been fattening you up since you showed back up?" Rogue moved to his brother's side and pawed at his gut. "Would explain why you have gotten a bit more rounder then I remember. Maybe you should lay off that kill, we don't want you getting even more pudgy." Rogue turned back to his brother, showing a mischievous gleam in his haunted blue green eyes.

Gargoyle watched him ? the slow progression of question, recognition, then shock. To Rogue, this was Gargie coming back from the grave. Perhaps it would?ve been more acturate to said he was coming back out of hell. The Rogue hung his head then, and something pulled at Gargie?s heart. This was the pain his disappearance had caused. Crusade had been different ? as soon as she?d seen him on the border she?d came streaking across the snow and took him in a flying tackle. Rogue?s was a more quiet realization ? rather fitting to Gargie?s memory of him.

?Of course brother, how could I forget who you are?? Gargoyle?s spirit leapt with those words. When Rogue pressed against him, Gargoyle tucked his chin, rubbing it affectionately against his brother?s scruffy skull. How long had it been til he?d smelled Rogue?s scent? A lifetime ago. The brother?s exchange was far less physical than Gargie?s had been with Crusade, but then they were males ? and in truth this was just as tender.

When Rogue pulled away his eyes were alight with humor. Gargoyle should?ve seen his next words coming. Nuts to him! He knew perfectly well this fine figure of a wolf had always been a giant ? even among them as yearlings.

As Rogue?s words continued , Gargoyle?s jaw dropped lower. ?..Why you insolent little TWERP! I could toss you around when we were pups and don?t you think I can?t do it now! GET BACK HERE!? Gargoyle lunged after the marbled male, exploding out of the tundra grass and sprinting after him. He?d soon learn that size had nothing to do with speed when years of training were involved. Back in the old days, Gargoyle was the king of their litter?s tussles ? only beat by Blaize a few times. Rogue back then had been more of a hunter than a fighter and he?d been easy pickings. Now though they were both big, scarred males ? which made their pup like antics all the more ridiculous to see.

Gargoyle pounced after his brother, trying to tackle and pin him to the ground. ?You should know better than to insult the Chief.? Gargoyle said with a meaningful wink, then added affectionately. ?Idjit.? Then he cocked his head thoughtfully. ?But then? Crusade told me you were Glaciem?s Chief for a short time too?? Gargoyle flopped his hind quarters back on the tundra ? as though the weight of all those years came back to his mind.

But he shook his head, still eyeing his brother with a pupish humor. His words, however, were serious. ?You must have a lot of questions ? and I?ve got a few of my own. But you said you were tired.? Gargoyle nodded his head back towards where he?d first been laying. ?Come on, you can help yourself to the rest of my goose. While you do that-? Gargoyle?s eyes faded once more to their usual blank state. -?I?ll tell you about where I was.?

Rogue laughed at his brothers response, many things may have changed, but not this; this happy-go-lucky laughter of brothers who had thought to never see each other again. "Insolent I may be brother, but no ones going to be more honest then family." He pranced about the still form of Gargoyle. "Ah, Gargie you may have size on me but you will have to catch me first, you seemed to have the cushy life while I travel the world. And we cannot forget your getting fat." Thaddeus stopped then his head high and a smile plastered on his black and white muzzle. He shuck his head as his brother continued to try and pull rank on him, that made the lanky male laugh harder. "Dear brother, you cannot pull rank on me! I am not part of your pack, you may be chef of our birth pack but I am my own wolf and had been for four years!"

It was then that he was reminded of his brief time in this very pack two years before. Raven the loveable prick had somehow found and cornered Rogue in taking charge of the lives of those wolves. It was only thanks to Crusade that he was able to wriggle his way out of leading for long, and he could not thank her enough for that. Rogue was not a leader, he was not strong or brave enough to be responsible for others lives, it just was not him. He would take the hit for someone but not for too many all at once, which leaders do all the time. Thaddeus soberly turned to his brother. "Yes I was, but I was only holding the place for Crusade. I was never the true chef, and never will be, I am not made to be a leader, I learned that the hard way."

Thaddeus Rogue moved close to his brother, his body feeling heavy after the bounding and playful antics. He was too old to jump about on an empty stomach and two hours of sleep. He now felt like he was four and a half years older then he really was. The black and white male nodded his head at his brothers statements he did have a lot of questions, many of them concerning where his brother was. Rogue moved passed his brother and fell next to the goose, licking his chops just thinking about the meat hitting his pallet. "You must have vanished in thin air for my nose not be able to find you. Tell me how and why I have failed in something I prided myself in being the best at." Rogue did not let his brother see his face, see his shame. Thaddeus turned to the bird then and started to work off some meat, to curb his hunger and to hid from his brother.

Gargoyle shook his head, letting most of the gibes slide. He knew Rogue was only baiting him for the fun of it. Yet the fun seemed to drain suddenly from the current Chief when Rogue laughed the words about Gargoyle having a "cushy life". Rather like a long-haul vetran, there were some things he just couldn't joke about.

When Rogue made himself comfortable with the goose carcuss, Gargoyle sat himself down nearby and cast about for a beginning to his tale. "Well... you know how I went missing in the north...and about how Crusade and...Mom went missing there - though I only found that out when I rejoined Glaciem. Where as Crusade was taken prisoner by the foriegn Far North wolves, I was ripped up and left for dead." he moved over this as quickly as possible but that only made it the more genuine. Indeed, if eyes could see through fur, Rogue would be privy to a maze of scars lashing across the Timber cross's frame. "I would have died too, but by chance I was picked up by a crazy she-wolf who lived in the northern mountains. She was a healer or shamaness of sorts and after months of care I was brought back to myself... at least physically. But by that time Glaciem's first home was gone and everyone had left. I didn't know what happened to all of you. I-I thought you were dead." A tremor of feeling crept into his words. "Loosing you all like that... I lost something in myself. For a long, long time." He shook his head. "I don't talk of the dark days, but eventually I came out of them - mainly thanks to Frisk - you remember our old playmate? Crusade's companion? Well he's my curse to bear now and he's arround here somewhere so watch what you eat." the wry talk of his odd little friend helped ease him back into the present.

"By some whim of the gods, we made it to Glaciem's second home - during the rule of Crusade. ...Sis didn't care the trouble I'd gotten myself into. She was just happy to have me back. As she didn't have any pups of her own - she made me heir. When Mt. Animi erupted -(yeah, you missed all the fun, twerp)- and we moved here, I took over as Alpha. I've been fixing up the place as best I can since then. But the eruption took a toll on our numbers - and I'm always looking for a good soul to add to the list." this last remark was given with a meaningful look to his wandering brother, but he didn't dwell on it.

"So much for my half - what of yours? I haven't seen you since you were fawn sized!"

Thaddeus licked his chops and stood as his brother started his story. It was like a bad dream, Rogue was taken back to those days, after everything went to shit. There home was destroyed and there mother and older sister taken. The last of them felt alone, oh so alone. He had left on his journey soon after, trying to make everything better, but he had found nothing of his siblings or his mother, and he had soon found his feet in the Blood Pack lands, and that is when he had found a part of himself.

It was as his brother was talking about losing them all and a prat of himself when his own words came back to him. Rogue looked in his brothers face, saw the shadows of his pain and anger swirling in there depth. "I am sorry brother my words where insensitive, neither of us had it easy, and yes I see your scars, not just your physical ones but your emotional ones as well. I am glad you found your place in this world again and yourself." Thaddeus looked at his brother and shock his head, it seemed that even though Rogue had more time to fine his place and reason for life, he had yet to, unlike the strong male that he was lucky enough to call family.

But it seemed his brother wanted to know how Rogue almost found the love that he once looked for but let it fall from his paws, let it get taken from him. "Ah, brother, I do not have much of a story. I began by looking for you, and mom, and Crusade, but for one reason or another I failed, that weighed heavily on my soul, still does. So I traveled, crossed forests, planes, and even a desert, until I came upon a land ran by one large pack with smaller underling packs. They called them self the Blood Packs."

Thaddeus Rogue looked to the sky, his eyes gaining a faraway look. "I soon found myself in one of those lesser packs, trying my best to give them a little more, I spent most of my time hunting and found myself still starving. But I did not mind, hell I welcomed the hunger pains, it meant I was doing something right, giving everything I kill over to those that needed it more then I."

He looked his brother in the eye, his own pain clouding with his pain and failures. "It was not long after I arrived my meet someone I felt like I needed to protect, she was a little thing, a young pup, and she was little more then skin and bones, she was like a sister to me, and I wanted to save her from the poor life she was living. It was some weeks after I arrived that things escalated, I had heard talk to of a revolution, the lesser blood wolves where banding together to take down the ruling pack, the Major blood wolves. The pack I lived was neutral, taking neither side and it seemed to work for them until one day the Major wolves payed a visit to the packs elders and demanded obedience, but they had no time to give the rulers an answer for the rebellion ambushed the major wolves and started a bloody battle. The pack I was looking after was stuck in the middle of it, getting attacked by both sides. I protected as many as I could but one by one many of the wolves that I cared about fell, near the end of the battle one of the leaders of the Major Blood wolves turned to a small figure that must have found her way out of the corner I was protecting, it was 'little sister'. I rushed forward without another thought and placed myself in front of her as the large wolf lashed out at her."

Thaddeus rogue sank to his belly a haunted look in his eyes. "I do not remember much after that, I was out of for a week and when I woke up I was told I had to leave. I was weak, and my neck still hurt from where it was ripped apart, but they told me I had to leave, for my life was still in danger, the Major Blood wolves had it out for my blood for some reason or another. They called me Thaddeus Rogue as they said goodbye, and it sounded like a title of honer."

Rogue looked at his brothers face. "It was a month after I left that I learned that the pack I lived with died soon after my leaving, killed by the Major Blood wolves. In my sadness I traveled again, and then found my way to the land that housed the remnants of Glaciem, and it was there Raven found me. He asked me to step in his place and look after his family, he left before I answered him." Thaddeus laughed a sad sound. "Her intrusted ME with the wolves he cared for most, I who failed everyone I loved most when it mattered most, and he still set me up for more failure. But you know the rest, Crusade found herself to the pack and I gave her the lead and then found myself on the move again, there is nothing more to say, I never stayed in one place long, and kept moving, I was only passing though when I thought I should stop by before crusade found me again and yelled at me for not visiting her." Thaddeus Rogue looked away from his brother, "I failed everyone I ever loved, I do not know if I could stand failing anyone else. I know you want me to stay, Crusade did too. But I do not know if my soul can handle anymore death of the ones I care for most, it was your first, and then 'little sister' and her pack, I should have been there for all of them and for you, to protect you. I should have been able to smell you, find you, but I could not, I was useless, the snow had washed away your scent." Rogue's words where full of pain, full of anger at himself and the world, he felt that it was all his fault that 'little sister' and his brother had both lost there childhood.

Gargoyle settled his haunches on the tundra, his yellow eyes, as bright as twin moons, focusing on his brother as the words began to trickle from his muzzle. Knowing the tendencies of the Clash bloodline, Gargoyle was prepared for anything from a rousing war campaign to a voyage across the great waters, to a journey across mountains! And he also knew the world; knew what a terribly twisted place most of it was. So he also prepared for a measure of sorrow.

Seemed his preparations were not in vain.

Rogue spun a fine story. Gargoyle listened with mute interest to the politics of the Blood Packs, then let his ears tip back at the news of the war. He twitched a brow at the Lesser pack's strange goodbye and naming of his brother, and then blinked once in surprise at the truth behind Rogue's bearing of the Chieftainship. However, after his departure from Glaciem - only a small count of months before Gargoyle's return - it seemed that his tale trailed away. These past years had no new epic to add to his account. He was a wanderer - a rogue - once again. Not for the first time did the back of Gargoyle's mind wonder if his mother had had some sort of future-sight when she'd named her offspring.

Gargoyle was used to such things as blood and war and loss - though in his experience he'd rarely ever been on the receiving end - but what was hard to hear was the sound of his brother's voice. Rogue was broken. His words only barely veiled the turmoil that pricked at him. A low, thoughtful breath, escaped through Gargoyle's muzzle. It was not in the Chief to beg for Rogue to stay or cheer up. He was a male after all, and in the end, his only words were a quiet warning: "Beware brother. Such things as self-doubt and self-loathing turn all too quickly to self-pity, from which even strong wolves rarely free themselves. It will eat you from the inside out, unless you learn to accept your past as behind you and move on." These were not empty morals or recited lessons ... this was something Gargoyle had had to come to terms with himself. And only through great difficulty and time. The only major difference in this case was that Rogue was ashamed of the further good he was unable to do. Gargoyle was ashamed of the evil he had committed.

For a long span of seconds, Gargoyle had a thought, a feeling, a desire really, to tell Rogue more about his dark days. Perhaps... perhaps he would understand - well not understand Gargoyle's actions in that time - but understand his actions now in fleeing from it and changing himself.

But Gargoyle knew himself. He wanted this too badly. And for selfish reasons only; his mind wanted him to believe that if he were to confide his misdeeds to the heart of another it would exorcise him once and for all. But such was no the case. His demons were his own to battle. He had no right to burden another with a glimpse into the monster he once was.

He shook himself from such thoughts. This was about Rogue after all! His long lost brother's homecoming! "Come! Your pain is something no wolf can truly fix - but perhaps you would allow us to help soothe it? If only for a short stay, it is my pleasure to welcome you into Glaciem. There are many lovely she-wolves who would wish to see you - Crusade and Arcane and Asheni among them, but you must meet Crusade adopted daughters too - Keki and Maka." Despite the heaviness that would probably forever claim at least some portion of their hearts, Gargoyle found a peace in his brother's presence.

Then... almost as an afterthought of sorts, Gargoyle paused and added, "To love, is to risk loss, just as to live, is to risk death. But when it comes to the ones we care for and things we believe in, the risks are worth the taking." Perhaps Rogue would recognize the words as a favored saying of Crusade and of Clash before her. Often Gargoyle had found himself taking solace in their message.

Thaddeus Rogue felt the wight of the world push down on his shoulders, he felt his past failures all at once. But then he thought about the reason he had been crested the name Thaddeus, he would have given his life for theirs, if he would have known what was going to happen, he would have stayed and given it all to them, or in the least he would have taken 'Little sisters' away from the terrible life that she had been living. But what did he have to give a young she wolf? Nothing, he was a wolf with no family or home, and he chose to be that way, he chose to leave his failures behind, to only be faced with more. But even now Thaddeus wanted more in his life, he wants to live up to the name that he was crested with so many years ago, he wants to again be that brave fellow that would give his life for strangers, but it was as Gargoyle said, self loathing was his only destination if he did not get off the path he was currently on, he lived for nothing other then to exist and that was not a life, and it was not a life that lead to bravery and self sacrificing.

Thaddeus Rogue looked up at his brother, and stopped his own dark thoughts, there was that glimpse of a shadow again. He had seen it only briefly in Gargie's eyes and now it was almost forefront before his brother pushed it away again. There was more to Gargoyle's story then what had been said, much more, and it was dark from what he could see, but how dark he could not say. Ah they where an interesting duo, they lived a part form the family that they loved and grew strong because of it, but they both had darkness in their past that they could not shake, Rogue more than the him, Gargie was just better at holding his ground was all. Rogue wanted to be strong and brave like his name sake, he wanted to stop running from a past he knew he was not responsible for, but he still felt the failure of it all the same.

But in the mist of Thaddeus's thoughts his mothers face came to the forefront. 'To love, is to risk loss, just as to live, is to risk death. But when it comes to the ones we care for and things we believe in, the risks are worth the taking.' He had grown up with that saying, he had lived it for the first part of his life, he had opened his heart to 'little sister' and he felt the whole it left in his heart... But was he not a better wolf because of the loss? Was he not able to stand stronger because he loved her and would have given everything for her. He believed so, he believed the fact that he lived up to his name sake in the moment, and he wanted to again... "Ah brother, you have no idea how that saying shaped who I am today, I would have given my life for the ones I loved and then they gave up theirs for mine... But I think it is time to move past the hurt, my talk with you have healed a few wounds, not all but a few. I know it is time to stop running from my past, but I may need more help then you or I can give me."

As Rogue started to fallow his brother, he started to think about what his brother had said before the quote from their mother. "Hold up brother, are you trying to hook me up with a pack female? Ah you are asking a lot of someone still in the process of healing a heart full of holes." And then Thaddeus Rogue started to think, he had once meet a female in his short time in the pack years past. She was a skittish thing, and she was not used to the free world. He name was Mahniya, but he named her something more appropriate, he called her Ayala. "When I was here last I met a female, and I was wondering if she was still here, she was a strange thing, with a strange name. She called herself Mahniya, she looks like me kinda, but with read eyes." He wanted to find Ayala again, and see if she was healing from her past pains and he stolen spirit...

Gargoyle's words seemed to get to the other male - or at least settle in his head for a bit. Perhaps he was getting through to him. Well, he thought that until Rogue blurted out the 'hooking up bit'. Gargoyle's nose twisted up. "The only females I named are your family, yah moron!" Rogue. He'd missed that mutt like heck.

But with a more sober expression he heard the rest of his borther's words. The bit on a heart full of holes... well in a way he could understand that. However, when he started talking about the she-wolf with the red eyes, Gargoyle's tattered ear twitched. "Mahniya? Yeah, she made it here! She'd been quite a help lately - even accompanying Crusade to the Seracian packlands." He was surprised, more than surprised, by his brother's interest. That malicious streak that all brothers pocess crept up inside Gargoyle and he was sorely tempted.... but Rogue had warned against teasing him on his heart.

Maybe another time.

Now that Gargoyle had a family of his own though, he understood what all the fuss was about. Every decent creature ought to get one.

"Come on, Rogue," Gargoyle said with a wag of his stump. "Lets go find the womenfolk and tell 'em you're still alive, eh?"

(ooc: hope you don't mind wrapping this thread up, but I'd like another one soon! And Crusade would LOVE it if Rogue would peek in on her pup's birthing thread)

Thaddeus Rogue smile returned to his muzzle as his brother bristled at his gab at him trying to hook him up with pack females. Yes it was just the thing to lift Rogues dark mood, he still knew how to press his brothers battens. "Yeah you may have just said our family, dear brother, but I know you meant a unrelated female, you want to bag me and tie me down, I know it!" He grinned at his brother his lips tilting in a lopsided smile. It was good to banter with his sibling, it almost felt normal, like nothing had happened to make them both different wolvens, but it did, Rogue had the holes in his heart to prove it as Gargoyle had the shadows in his eyes; even so, it still felt good to joke like everything was normal.

As talk moved to Ayala his spirits truly lifted, it was good that she seemed to find her place with his family, she deserved a good life, a way to heal the broken soul that lingered in her heart, and with Gargie it sounded like it was happening, maybe he should look for her himself and see how she was doing. But first family, he needed to see his family, his siblings, at least what was left of them. "Wait, you said Arcane is here as well? Man brother how is it you are finding all our lost siblings where I could not, and you being tied to the pack! You must tell me that story!" With that Thaddeus Rogue fallowed his brother into the heart of Glaciem to see his family again, and maybe mend his broken heart, and maybe someone else's in the process... If he was so lucky.
