This place was indefinitely strange. The shrine was stuck in the middle of the land, creepy ivory vines growing around the different stones. His eye would scatter across the features. On the inside what would wait for him, some sort of ghost or other thing. Would a monster come out and grab him, eat him alive. Perhaps that would be for the best, but he wouldn't think about it at the moment. He let his paws carry him into the building, where a pond sat in the middle of encircled pebbles and stones. He almost expected to see his skeleton when he looked into the pool. Only seeing his scarred eye, neck, and then the remaining crystal green that he relied on to see the beautiful and yet horrible world. Vereux's tail wiggled behind him as he raised his head listening to his surroundings. There wasn't even the chirping of birds, it was deathly quiet. What kind of place, was this? ?I speak?

In her opinion the quietness of it all was kind of beautiful. No sound of birds, no scurrying of prey. The female would breathe in slowly, her single orb scanning the area around her. The place was beautiful... interesting. She would find herself almost captivated by the place as she explored it, Tiny set upon her head as she wandered to and fro. It was as if no other beast lived in this here place. No other creature dared live, breathe, in a place so still. But then she caught the scent of another, and curiosity would rise within. Who was it that decided to venture into these strange lands? Who was it that decided that this was a place that suited their fancy? Akemi would move on until finally her gaze landed upon him by the pool. She would breathe in, calling out to the stranger. "It's a unique place, isn't it?" "Listen to me talk," 'or read my thoughts.'

The male's attention moved towards the female. When he saw her at first glance he just noticed the scars. It was the first thing he noted about anyone, probably because he had his own. Most of them all from failure. As he tilted his head slightly, she would inquire how unique this place was. "Indeed it is, I have a feeling it calls to me unlike a lot of other places." Perhaps that was why he was so drawn. His empty mind, and identity crisis that he was going through. It was a place to think and maybe decide one thing or another. "My name is Vereux Armada, what brings you here stranger?" he would curiously ask her. Socializing wasn't much of a problem for him anymore. As antisocial as he had been in the past, sticking by his family like a small pup. Words could go a long way for him, even if actions did tend to slap him in the face. ?I speak?

It called to him. How peculiar. How could a place so empty call to someone? But then who was she to judge? Akemi would give a small nod, trying to understand the feelings of the young man. Perhaps it was because the place was so empty it appealed to him. It was so quiet that one could almost hear their thoughts most clearly. The female would breathe in, listening to the man speak again. He would introduce himself, inquiring what she was up to here. "My name is Akemi Miu Hróðvitnisdottir. It is a pleasure, Vereux. I was just happening by, scouting areas where I might be able to form a pack in the future." The female would lift her head proudly. "Though I'm afraid I'm a bit short on followers. It seems starting anew can be harder than one would think." She would let out a soft chuckle. "How about you, Vereux? What brings you here?" ""
