Breathe.

The woman would think to herself, taking the first pawstep into the Estuary. The sound of birds were all around for this was their home. The Avian Estuary... once home to Pantheon. But now the pack stood no longer, just like her beloved home of Secretua. But she was not afraid, no. Being a loner was hard, but she had done it once before and was more than capable of doing it again. Her heart was set, her mind determined, and her will strong. She would recreate a home. She would build a place of security for those she loved. Those who needed one. She would build a new family... just as Secretua had once done for her.

Another breath.

Akemi would lift her head, looking up as a creature flew past her head. What on earth was that? She would frown, stubs of her ears giving an irritated shift. Some type of bird, maybe a bat... it was dusk after all. Her single orb would scan the terra, seeking some sign of life. It seemed like all of the previous members of the former pack were gone. Such a pity. She would shake her head, deciding to, just in case, let out a howl for them.

But would anyone answer?
