He had finally made it here, his cherry red and royal blue gaze wide. His coat was covered in mud, and he glanced down at his paws before he took a running jump, plunging into the water. Hopefully, it would get some of the mud and dust off of his fur. As his paws carried him to the surface, he swam towards the bank once more. As he managed to get over there, he sat down, licking his paws to ensure that the fur was not out of place. When he managed to do that, spending several seconds on it, he lay there with his head on his paws and his eyes closed as he attempted to rest for a few moments.

It had taken a while until Locha found some water deep enough to plunge into properly, and when she did, she didn't hold back. Underneath the Delta's little lakes and loch's, the girl swam to her hearts content. The water was a lot clearer than she had expected. She could clearly see the shoals of fish that sometimes swum hurriedly past her and the bottom crawlers scurrying underneath rocks to hide. Her blue eyes hungrily looked around underneath the water, until she couldn't. Her brows furrowed in confusion. Where did all this mud come from? Locha broke the surface and took in a deep breath. Up on the bank in front of her was a sleeping wolf. His fur was still wet and paw prints led up up to where he lay. Locha smiled and took a breath ready to go under again, but instead coughed, loudly. She internally cringed and waited to see if the slumbering canine would wake up. "Speech"
