It was incredibly surprising to the boy that he had managed to live through this winter on his own, so much that the last few days he has been taking every possible chance to look at his reflection in ice and melting water. He was looking for any changes in his body, something that was maybe making him stronger, allowing him to still live on his own. That was one of the reasons he had stopped in this new and strange location, seated upon a rock ledge jutting out of the cave. The images on the walls aiding in his small journey to learn what power he may have.

His travels had mostly been spent in seeking out the rest of his family. The blood stained creature walking with purpose, a freshly killed snow hare in his jaws. Though it wasn't very plump, it would do for a small meal whenever he chose to find a place to settle undisturbed. That was when it hit him. As he was crossing the threshold of the cave, a foreign scent infiltrated his nostrils. Even through the smell of the bloody hare he was carrying, he had detected it. And because of his deviously curious personality, the creature simply had to investigate, and if there was more then one, then he just had to interject.

Moving into the cave, amber gaze adjusted to the darkness as he saw strange paintings on the wall. He couldn't quite recall if he'd been here before, but it didn't matter. He wasn't here to look at art, he was here to see who it was that called to him. He stood just within the entrance as he looked around, until finally, an unfamiliar figure would be spotted. Putting down his catch, his hackles rose only slightly. Though this new creature didn't appear to pose a threat, let alone possess the strength that Sin had, he would still show that he was not to be messed with. At that moment, his head would rise as did his tail, the beast standing at full height as he gazed at the pathetic boy just sitting there. "Admiring the view, are we?"

"Speech"

A voice frightened the young boy, the thin wold visibly jumping from his spot and whipping around to face the creature it had belong to, tail tucked between his legs. To his relief the voice belonged to another wolf, but it was a large pale made of snow white fur and strange markings on his pelt. Instinctively he would lower himself to the ground to bring himself below the man, even if Squirrel was up on a ledge that was above him. Slowly he nodded his skull at the male's question, looking to his paws rather than his face for that was burned into his memory as disrespect.

Nose twitched, finding the smell of a freshly killed rabbit snaking its way around the cavern, making the slave's stomach begin to growl. Because he had been on his own this winter, and somehow managed to survive it, the boy was decently thin. Little muscled remained under his pelt, ribs, spine and hips visible beneath fur but not quite a walking skeleton.
