A dark mass stood out from the sea of white, slowly moving, if not at all if you watched for more than a few seconds. From a distance it appeared like a large piece of bark that had been removed from a tree, perhaps a desperate meal for an animal looking to satisfy the pains within its stomach during these hard winter days. It wasn't however, as you could see from approaching, it had fur and appeared to have a head and limbs. A fox? No, not possibly. Its tail was too short and body squared... A wolf pup. Anaeia had been walking for days now, stopping to munch on the very few berries she could find hiding away from the harsh weather. Sometimes she would get lucky and find a frozen carcass left behind from a large predator and before scavengers came to pick the bones clean, but it wasn't enough to keep her stomach full. She couldn't even enjoy the excitement of this new thing in her life, the changing of seasons, all the snow. No, all she was thinking about was looking for more food, to find a place to keep warm so that she could continue her search the next day. Her journey would come to an end finally, her little body too exhausted and deprived that she finally collapsed in the snow. She shook violently, too weak to even curl up into a ball to retain the little heat she had left in her small frame. Eyes closed, she was ready to let the darkness take her, to finally take away all the pain and fear that had racked her mind for days now. Snow has been falling for a few minutes, and when she went down the wind had begun to pick up, the flakes growing thicker in size and coming down heavily. A blizzard was making its way into the lands.

(This song is rated M for a few curse words) The behemoth had been out hunting for the pack in these pines. A massive body like hers made it easy to take down a doe left behind in the winters wake. It may not have been very fit, skinny even, but meat was meat as it was. Though her body stuck out so much to the snow, her gray eyes would focus on a form out in the distance. She herself first thought of it as simply a piece of bark that had flown out in the wind. Dragging the carcass with her she stopped, as her nose picked up the scent of a wolf. It was a pup, Amachi almost couldn't believe it there was no parents in sight and yet this small pup maybe only a mere season and a half was out in the snow with a blizzard coming in. The beast would settled the carcass off to the side, there was no time to carry the pup elsewhere. As she would lower her body gently to the puny creature she made sure not to crush her but close enough to curl up around her and protect her from the cold. Her gray eyes moving to her doe. Amachi grabbed a small portion of the meat delicately with her teeth from the leg. Placing it close to the young one's mouth. "Eat this, slowly young one. Please, your safe now I'm here." Amachi whispered to the young one. It was nearly unbelievable that she found the small girl. The fiery woman hoped that she could save the pup in the condition she was in. Her body sheilding her from the icy wind. She would bring her back to Sonticus after and gave Arian take a look at her. With no parents in sight, it seemed like..... she was abandoned. It made her frown. ""

The wind beat at her small body, but by now the girl had given up trying to get away from it, finding no use in doing so. She was suddenly surprised though when it had stopped almost entirely, able to feel the wind whip along her spine. What was going on? Slowly her eyes would struggle to open, fluttering the faintest before finally opening just enough to find that something dark was around her. Confusion set it at a steady, slow rate, registering within a minute or two that there was an animal that was blocking the harsh winter air from attacking the child's body. But why? Next thing something was being set near the girl's face, red in coloring and smelled strongly of blood... food. Anaeia's eyes closed, taking in a shaky breath, her scent glands filling with the meal set before her. Oooooh, how much it made her stomach hurt, to know that a meal was just centimeters from her mouth but she was too weak to reach out and scarf it down. Hesitantly, her head shifted the slightest, stretching forward just an inch but just barely able to grab onto the meat with her lips. Failure, she pulled back, face scrunching in disappointment. A voice spoke, smooth, a comforting tone she knew all to well to belong to a female like herself. Something about it gave the child a small boost of energy, hearing that she was safe now, giving the girl a small sliver of hope. Paws dug into the snow, crunching beneath the applied weight, trying to push herself into the woman's fur, to warmth. She tried hard to move, limbs shaking beneath her body as she slowly inched her way closer and closer. She needed this, the pup NEEDED to get out of here. 'Take... me...' She wanted to cry, but all that came out was a struggled whine. 'Please... take me.'

(This song is rated M for a few curse words) No matter how much she tried to make the pup eat however, it would seem she would be too weak at the moment. It depressed Amachi that she had to abandon a perfectly good catch, however saving a life seemed to have it's benefits over that. Tail curling around the young one, she made the split decision to take the pup back to the ship. She gently would pick the pup up from the scruff, which was what made most of her body anyway. As her large body she tried to use to fight the wind so that her small body would be safe for the trip. Only looking back for a quick second to relish in the fact she left a perfectly good large piece of food to be destroyed by the blizzard. As Amachi came to the ship, her paws carried her into the hull probably where most of the other pack mates were hiding in their dens. The behemoths den was far into the back. Coming to a hole that seemed to used to have held various animal skins for trade. Now old and shriveled it had been replaced with more strange materials that gave off heat. Essentially the entire inner ship was warmer than the outside and all you could hear was the wind howling from the outside. Amachi set the pup down in the middle of the den and curled up around her. "You are safe now." ""

The moment she was picked up the child curled up tightly, body going limp instinctfully so that the woman could carry her easily. The only thin going on in her head or around her body was the knowledge of knowing she was being taken away finally, to where? Maybe the wolf was carrying her to her mother, to reunite the two and make all the pain go away. Or perhaps she was taking her to a warm place, poke and prod at her little body to find out what was wrong. More time would be spent on bringing her back to life, but was it worth it when all she wanted was to go to sleep and never wake up? It didn't register that the temperature around the pup had changed, the howling winds no longer pulling at her fur, the cold no longer stabbing her body and making it feel like she no longer had legs. Next thing she knew, her body was being set down and something warm was wrapping around her. "M... mmmuuu...." It was difficult getting the name out, so the child just tucked her head into the woman's fur, breathing shallow.

Arian had watched Amachi come out of the storm, making sure all her members had been accounted for. However, something had seemed strange about the woman, she had brought someone with her by the scent. Arian only saw a small body, she could only come to the conclusion that it was a pup. The president naturally followed the lady into her chambers, seeing the young whelp as Amachi's head raised a bit to her. The president would frown as she crouched near the pup poking her softly with her nose. Tired, weak, and hungry. This pup had been abandoned it made her growl underneath her breath. Returning to her den shortly, she grabbed a left-over rabbit and a small green sort of purple plant with it. As she came back to the pup, she stuffed the kale inside of the rabbit meat. Only having a small portion as she took her teeth and munched some of it up. Small enough and squishy enough for the pup to eat. As she came towards the young one, she gently nuzzled her snout to try and coax her to open it so she could give her the food and the greens. "Open your mouth honey, I need to give you some food and medicine." she looked nearly apologetic at Amachi for a moment. "Talk"

Anaeia stirred a small bit at the touch of something against her body, it was prodding at her thin body and she didn't know why nor had enough energy to think about it. Paws slowly kneaded Amachi's body, her tail and back legs tucking into her body. She just wanted to be engulfed by the shewolf's fur, fall asleep warm and feeling somewhat safe for once since she was abandoned. The pup would be poked once more however, something touching her muzzle, a smell filling her nose that she hasn't had in so long but the large wolf tried giving her out in the snow. The new wolf was saying something to her, but all the girl could catch was "open your mouth" and some other thing about "give food and medicine." Being young still, she didn't understand what medicine was but she did know food, something she desperately needed. So with the last of her energy the girl would part her jaws, tongue slipping out to catch the chewed meal and bring it into her mouth where she would slowly start to swallow. Thankfully the new woman understood she was very weak and pre-chewed, or else Anaeia would be trying to mash it up for a little while.

(This song is rated M for a few curse words) When the medicine was given, Amachi would give Arian a silent thank you. Her head coming to curl around the little one. She hummed a little to her, hoping it would instill some sort of comfort in the small pup. When she awoke she could tell Amachi her name and they would concentrate on how she would get better. "It's going to be okay now, I'll take care of you." Amachi would speak softly. She would do what she could to provide for this young one. To raise her as her own, the giant found herself having a connection like she had with her old unborn children. Her gray eyes moving to Arian for a moment as Arian left the den to leave them be. She would probably come to check on them when the morning came. As Amachi let out a small sigh, she made sure she delicately was secured around the small child. -exit amachi- ""

The child attempted to eat as much of the meal as she could, slow bites and swallowing being done, but it would be too much for her to finish since the medicine had been mixed within it and not to mention to current state. So she pulled away from it, pressing her skull into the woman wrapped around her, giving her body the warmth she needed desperately if she were to last the night. Eyes closed without effort as she readied to nap at last, head burrowing into fur but pausing at a new sound to her ears, humming. It was something she had not heard before, and even if she didn't like new things or changes, the girl liked this. She pressed into Amachi with a light whine, wanting it to continue till sleep took over her small body. The last thing she would remember was the woman's voice speaking softly, like a tickle on the hairs of the ear. She was going to take care of Anaeia, it brought a faint smile to the child's dark lips just before she finally fell asleep. - exit anaeia-
