Another year worth celebrating

This was an...odd but fantastic year, one of the better ones yet! Donostrea was nearly a year old, spring and a wedding were in the air. And soon, so very very soon, little paws would join them on the beach. They would become a great pack, they would teach his children and the next generation. Everything had fallen like little puzzle pieces into place. The only thing missing was a corner piece, something they would never find again, the lives and acceptance of their parents. But oh, the more pieces that fell into place, the less that missing one ruined the picture. Everything was glorious. With spring on its way around again so too came another year for every single one of his siblings. Voltage was five now, close to the end of his prime....the second litter four and the third was three. They were all aging flawlessly, they were all growing older together. So he and Locha, the two party planners of the family, had been busy planning this year's celebrations. Voltage hadn't been able to throw a huge bash for his family...never, really. Every year there was always something. The last year was because they had to move, they had to settle in the third litter. Now...they were stable, and he wanted to have some fun. So with enough fish, and enough meat, and with some fun planned, he'd toss his head back to call for his siblings. To welcome another year upon their lives and share with them the news he had to share. They were party Elementas style, and everyone would be jealous of their celebrations. (OOC game to come! Keep your eyes out. If anyone has any idea what to do ICly please pm or skype me!) |

Silvius was yet to experience a hearty Elementas party, and hopefully the two party planners wouldn't mind an extra tiny creature joining in with the fun. It was about time the family shoved aside their troubles and pressing matters and looked at the positives. After all, where were the negatives without the positives? Surely they had all accomplished something wonderful over the past year since their settling move, and the healer was proud to announce that he had finally received the mentor that had always been promised to him, as well as a companion who was equally helpful with his studies. But it wasn't just about his own successes, the whole family shared it. With little nieces and nephews along the way, depressing matters of the past were to dull to dwell upon any further. What they needed was enjoyment.
Various meats had already been caught as he noticed upon his arrival, all flawlessly organised by the best party planners. The first to answer the call; ah, he would never want to miss an ounce of the celebrations. "You've outdone yourself, brother," he beamed the Ferax a warm smile as he awaited the arrival of the rest of the family, his hedgehog friend remaining silent upon his skull. Future kids, a pack to lead and a party on top of it all? Oh, there was no other brother he desired. |

Walk | Talk | Think A party! That was just what they needed. Even with the disappointing, distressing news of their parents' death they had plenty to celebrate. Life, love, and family most importantly, and there were plenty of reminders of each within the pack lands. It was overdue time that they paid special tribute to those factors, high time that they feasted and celebrated and simply gathered together as a whole instead of coexisted as separate parts of a functioning unit. All in all, Gale was excited. It showed in the smile on her face, impish with delight and good spirits, as she strolled toward her brothers and sister, grey-green eyes sparking with life. Not even her season was going to spoil this day, and she was glad that it was mild overall. It meant enjoying the party would be that much easier for her to do without getting restless or irritable. With her tail wagging a friendly hello, Gale chuckled even before she reached the trio, each a representative member of their age group. "Hope I'm not late," she teased, unable not to notice the apparent absence of half of their family. "What do you and Locha have planned for us this time, Flash?" Surely between the two expert party planners, they had a day full of fun in store for all of them. Gale

The girl had been waiting for ever since her and Voltage had started planning the party. She'd been buzzing around for the past few days busying herself with hunting and the like. After waking up, the girl had gone... Guess. Yup, the sea, to fish. Nothing seemed to want take the metaphorical bait though, as it wasn't until just before her brother howled that her eye caught something swimming deep beneath her. Locha's paws had twitched with the urge to just abandon her hunt and make a beeline for the party, but she couldn't turn up without anything to bring, even though she had been adding to the food already at the venue. The water-woman watched as the fish approached the surface and her eyes widened at her would-be catch. Slightly wobbly legs brought Locha into the view of her siblings. From her jaws hung the biggest catch of her life. Her tail and head were held high as she proudly dumped the fish next to the pile of already abundant prey. A grin spread across her face and the girl was bouncing on her heels in excitement. She trotted past Terrae, bumping his shoulder playfully before stopping beside Volty to give him a grin, winking kindly at Astrea. "Thanks for starting without me." she said with playful sarcasm. |

It seemed every time he turned around voltage and Locha where sceaming parties behind their backs. He knew how much they both loved their parties, the planning, the hunting, all of it. It was something voltage and Locha did good together, and he was mighty proud of the pair of them. With amusement, he would answer the call, as out of the loop as the rest of the family when it came to knowing what awaited them in this year's party. Chuckling, he made his way down the beach, where the scent of fish, meat, and wolves assulted his senses. He made his way through the gathering members of his family. He nudged a Terrea here, pretended to nip at a Gale tail there. He grinned at Locha, one of the scheming party planners "what have you got planed for us this time" he teased her gently, still moving through. He stopped by Astrea to kiss her cheek and look her over, he had seen less of her then anyone else of late and was certain the terrible news still tore at her heart as fresh as the day they found out. "My Astrea" he whispered to her gently, concerned, a loving brother, before he moved again to locate his lightning litter mate. "Voltage. If you and lochs out do yourself every party your going to find yourself in trouble" he teased him easily
