Comfort Zone Violated
"Lost?" His monotoned voice hit the air in a crisp and clean manner. The cream colored wolf would let his ears move forward. He was larger than her, even though he wasn't the biggest of wolves it wasn't something he lost sleep over. However his intentions were unknown, even to him at best. His white tipped tail sat comfortably off to the side as he waited for the girl to answer. She was right on the borders, it shouldn't have been that hard to get home.
The voice hit her before the scent had a chance to, deep and monotone. Quickly she would whip around to face the source, ears pinning back against her head and tail tucking in between her back legs. It was an outsider, a wolf not part of the pack. At least, she had not seen him before, so that meant he wasn't part of Sonticus. Right? Quietly she gulped but wouldn't move from where she stood, tucking her chin in the slightest as her mismatched eyes looked the man over briefly then focused on his paws out of habit. She couldn't tell him the truth, what if she got in trouble for it?
"N... not lost." She answered quietly, loud enough for him to hear and understand her but quiet to where he had to of been paying attention or else a breeze could drown out her voice. In all honesty she was lost but wasn't, knowing that this place held the scent markers that let her know it was packlands but unsure where she was exactly in relation to the ship. She also knew the man was on the border, treading dangerously close to Sonticus. |
