Herne padded along the edge of the cliffs peering out over the water that splashed against the rocks so far below. He wondered what had made the world how it was with so many highs and lows, cliffs and mountains, all different shapes and sizes of bodies of water. There were countless kinds of plants and trees and animals. Sometimes he came out here on his own and just thought about how expansive the world really was and sometimes it felt amazing while other times it was overwhelming.

He turned away from the cliffs and headed further inland instead. He intended to head back to the Threar territory, but he got a little sidetracked along the way. He had never really ventured further away from his home than the cliff itself so he was kind of surprised to catch the scent of another pack so close by. He knew Threar shared borders with a couple of packs, but he had never really thought about where those other packs might be. He curiously edged a little closer to the pack border, but made sure to give it a respectful girth. He didn't want anyone to think he was trespassing after all.

Bored.

Bored bored bored bored bored.

Has anyone ever told you that being wounded was boring? Well, it was. And it was boredom that drove Lillie outside Abaven, nevermind the fact that going outside Abaven was NOT the brightest thing. After all, last time she went outside Abaven she had been attacked. Unprovoked, at that. Well. Not completely unprovoked. It was her fault, too, but that was besides the point. She still shouldn't have been attacked, even if she was being sarcastic as hell.

She certainly shouldn't have had her jaw fractured, her shoulder popped out of place, her right eye at least half-blinded and gouges down the side of her face. That was just a little drastic. Oh, and it also wasn't fun to try navigating with only one eye. And half your face plastered with goop that was flaking off because it wasn't goop anymore because it dried and she kept half-heartedly pawing at it. This, of course, caused the wounds to break open a little, so in addition to dried goop on her face, she also had some sticky blood. Only a little, but... still enough. It wasn't comfortable to have spider webs - thankfully sans spiders - and chewed herbs on your face

Lillie froze as another's scent crossed her nose - had she been caught already? She wasn't far from the border! It took a second, but then her brain realized the scent wasn't Abaven - it was Threar, the pack bordering Abaven's. Curiosity lit her uncovered eye, and she swung around towards the scent, hurrying towards it with as much grace and ability to walk as she could. She was still unused to the stick and rocks that somehow appeared out of no where to try to dump her on her face.

Not even realizing what a bloodied stranger smelling of the neighboring pack would appear like, she cheerfully greeted Herne with rapid tail wagging and a yip - a yip quickly followed by a grimace, because damn speaking hurt. The pain didn't stop Lillie's tail from beating the air. It'd take a lot to get a girl who has been in pain for several days now and bored out of her mind to become sad and distracted from her own distraction.

Note: Lillie has scars over her right eye and down her cheek. She also has scars under her chin and on her jaw. Her tables and art will most likely not reflect this. Unless it is specified otherwise, assume Lillianna is accompanied by her companion.

Herne's ears perked up at the sound of a yip and a stranger's scent soon followed. The scent was tainted with the slight smell of blood, making him look a little more quickly than he might have normally. His two-toned gaze widened with shock at the woman that was coming toward him. She seemed awfully happy for someone that had multiple serious wounds to one half of her face, some of them seeping blood through what looked to be the remnants of some bandages. He turned and hurried toward her, his gaze growing more serious as he shifted into the mode of a healer. It always felt like he went into a different state when he was healing than if he was just relaxing normally. "Are you okay? Do you need someone to patch this up for you again?" he asked, his voice as steady and calm as always as he stopped in front of her and leaned in to take a better look at her wounds.

Well, the wolf she encountered didn't seem to pleased to see her. In fact, he looked shocked. Why was that? It took her a moment to realize why. "Oh," she muttered, a half-growl to herself. Her head ducked down to press lightly at her paw, before lifting back up as the stranger approached. She licked the paw that was just touched - you couldn't really tell with her fur - and licked; yep she was still bleeding. Whoops. She stood still as he leaned in to examine, only growling a response. "Pardon the growl, it's the only way I can talk without much pain. You can if you'd like. I'm okay, though." She could already tell, though, that this boy was a healer: and as such, he wasn't about to let a wound go untreated.
