He felt like he wasn’t himself, filled with disappointment and anger that wore down on his normally bright and intelligent personality. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down though he had failed miserably at it so far. He wondered if anyone else was beating themselves up about the raid. He couldn’t believe that he had been stupid enough to become so enveloped in his surroundings that he didn’t even notice the woman charging right at him until it was too late. It had been embarrassing and he was sure someone had seen it and that he would never live it down.
What was he supposed to do knowing that he was a failure to his pack? How was he supposed to feel? He had no idea and that terrified him.
ooc: Is this going to be set after the family meeting or before?
Aslan had been feeling a little bit better though was still very much feeling out of sorts and that raid was the source of all that and the pack's latest problems it seemed. There were those that had not fought and felt bad, those who had fought and felt they could have done better and overall the dark cloud lingering around Threar seemed to only be bringing the rest of the pack down. Getting together would likely benefit them, Aslan had found that was the case after a little talk with Luck and now today it seemed it was Fate's turn for some cheering up.
It hadn't been his plan as he set out for the day, he hadn't really any goal in mind in fact though the moment that he spotted his little brother it would become his intention. Direction altered now to walk up to Fate's side with a gentle nudge against his shoulder for greeting. "What are you up to?"
